POOGLE DAY SPECIAL

Poogle Four
By Moose777

Simply known as Poogle Four
Once a champion, but not anymore
The other Poogles show him no respect
They say he's too old--
And they're mostly correct.
The odds are against him
His prospects are bleak
Over the hurdles, his bones start to creak.
His competitors laugh
They call him antique
But still he races, day after day
His time of glory long faded away
He straggles behind at the end of each race
You might say that he isn't aging with grace
Back at his home, he chuffs down some dinner
And then he's asleep,
In his dreams, he's a winner

The Many Faces of the Poogle
By Casth1

Do you own a Poogle? You're lucky if so
It's a colourful pet from its head to its toe
From purple to starry to skunk to rainbow
This four-legged creature's a delight to own.

"I've a split personality!" its split colour declares
While the one that's invisible just isn't there
Faerie Poogles fly, but that colour is rare
And the poor baby Poogle only has two hairs.

The eye patch on a pirate one is very flash
The sea-coloured blue one's
Bound to make a splash
Mistake checkered for a flag
And you're going to crash
And fire ones are so hot
That they leave trails of ash.

Brown ones are like chocolate - ever so sweet
The cuddly plushie ones are sewn up a treat
Cloud ones are so sky-like
You can almost hear tweets
While strawberry Poogles are good enough to eat.

Starry Poogles are the essence of night
While pink, purple and red
Are almost sunshine-bright
Sketch ones are drawn to every eye's delight
And exotic desert ones are a majestic sight.

Feel mellow? Try yellow, or green like a tree
Or perhaps pretty island takes your fancy
Whatever your mood, as the creatures agree,
You can't beat a Poogle for possibilities!

Poogle Racing
By iceangelgirl143

On top of freezing Terror Mountain
Beyond the piled snow
There is a place where Poogles meet
And hold a wonderful show

Poogles far and near and wide
Gather all around
To see who will be the very best
In this icy mound

Getting ready for the race
Is always considered right
Stretching, resting, and targeting
Will be shown as a good performance in right light

Then there comes the great big race
Poogles, at your mark...
Ready, bend, and prepare
The race will now... start!

Look at them go, look at them zoom
Through the frosted grove
They're all trying hard, the bets are set
But only one will conquer this icy cove!

The winner has come! The whistle has blown!
The flag has waved its way!
The winner is racer Number Three...
But new ones will take his place other days!

Poogles Are Tough, Too!
By Feyirie

                              O, little Poogle
                       somehow people think
                that your flapping ears indicate
          a playful disposition, a happy attitude;
but I       know better, I know just     why
you         play solitaire, because we      know
the            sharpness of Poogle bites           &
                         no one likes visitin'
                    the springs of the healing
Faerie as much as you send
'em.     Of course I know your mission's
true    purpose, which someone has to do.
No  one thinks much of cute pets... they'd
rather have a Draik or a Scorchio to battle
with! But a   Poogle can roll   over all those
tough guys        and make 'em      rethink their
habit of takin'    your enemy too   lightly. Let's Go!

Moogi
By Milorules

All the Poogles line up
Looking at the trophy cup
The race is at a start
All the Poogles dart

Each thinking of the win
But one Poogle has been
The winner of most the races
Because he always paces

At first he is in the back
But a trick he has under his hat
As the others run at top speed
He paces waiting for the lead

One Poogle then two then three
All drop down tired to beat
Moogi moves past them fast
Half the race is over at last

Now there are only three
Very tired from running
At last Moogi feels it
His second wind then nails it

It seems like he is to fly
Across the other Poogles' eye
Yes it seems like, it is!
Moogi adds another win!
