KIKO DAY SPECIAL

Kargrax the Defender
By Milorules

Patrolling the swamp, spear in hand
What is this sound I hear through the land?
The grunt of a breath, a movement of eye
He can catch sight of anything, even a fly

A twig snaps, a battle to be fought
This invader of the swamp must be caught
For behind the walls of vines and willows
Lies a small secret village of nomad Kikos

With friends and family in thought
The invader is slowly sought
A break in a trusty willow trap
A large sound, then the snap

Kargrax runs quickly to the scene
The willow begins to slowly lean
The invader is now stuck in the trap
Kargrax holds the levy strap

"Why have you come?" Kargrax demands
The invader puts up its hands
"I do not mean you any harm,
Just chasing the Snorkle
Who escaped from my farm!"

Kiko Haikus
By Paul0203

Do you like Kikos?
Here's some haiku about them
I hope you like them

Kikos always swim
It is natural for them
They love the water

All Kikos have hair
But only one strand of it
Does it ever grow?

Kikos wear plaster
I think this is very strange
Kiko, are you hurt?

Kikos enjoy books
There are many about them
How much can they read?

Kikos make great pets
I'm quite fond of these creatures
Happy Kiko Day!

A Few Miles North of Haunted Woods...
By Arthurbulla

A few miles north of Haunted Woods,
And south of Terror Mountain,
There lies a lake stock full of goods,
And lovely bubble fountains.

This lake of colored spires,
Is where Kikos make their home.
Where they build their small empires,
In this wonder of a dome.

Once you're in your bubble,
(That is, if you can't breathe),
You'll descend right through the rubble,
And to the floor beneath.

The first thing you might find there,
Would be a building made of chrome;
And, if you were unaware,
That's Kikoughela's home.

If you keep on going straight,
You'll get to a small stream,
Most Kikos use when running late,
Though it's a bit extreme.

Now that you have come here twice,
To this wonder of a lake,
Here's some friendly, quick advice
That you'd be wise to take.

Don't stray too far from mainland,
Or get yourself in deep,
For Jetsams find, and reprimand,
Those who dare to take a peep.

Now, a Jetsam's way of preying,
Is in no way fake;
You'll find yourself, forever staying,
Down here, in Kiko Lake.

Kiko Match II
By Wiccafl

At first it's quite easy, to match only two sets,
But the longer you play, the harder it gets.
Move up to three pairs, and next time it's four,
Five pairs and then six. Kikos galore!
Pink, red, green,
Orange, aquamarine,
Yellow, checkered, and blue
Christmas and plaid, too!
So many Kikos, so much fun!
Match up the pairs, one by one.
Kikos are great, with their lovely large eyes,
And those bandages make them
Such cute little guys!
Match them by colors,
And then by their backgrounds
The clock keeps ticking and you're
Nowhere near the next round
Oops! Those two aren't the same!
Maybe we should try a different game?

Kiko Mistake!
By l_u_c_y_c

One tragic day upon the beach,
I heard the most enormous screech,
I was astounded when I saw,
My Kiko fly across the shore,
"What's going on?" I cried in shock,
As he did land upon a rock,

"Ask them!" he fumed, yelling out loud,
Pointing to an advancing crowd,
"They keep kicking me, wonder why?
They're mad, I tell you!" he did cry,
I picked him up and stood up tall,
The crowd yelled, "Hey, that's our beachball!"

"Give it back," demanded a boy,
"We found it first - it is our toy!"
I stared at him... feeling quite cross,
For words, I was just at a loss,
"A beachball?!" I exclaimed at last,
Discovering the problem fast,

"He is my Kiko, you nitwit!
Not a toy to be punched and hit!"
"No way, we found it in the sea!"
He stared at me defiantly,
"My dear boy, you must be quite dim,
Don't you know Kikos love to swim?"

I argued, "Can't you see his face?
It's not a pattern, you nutcase!"
"Look at that plaster stopping air
From leaking, it's a quick repair!"
"He has had that since he was born,
You're being ridiculous!" I did scorn,

Suddenly someone said, "Oh dear!
Our beachball is right over here!"
"I'm sorry for our mistake,
It was an easy one to make!
After all, he is round and red,
Just like our ball, it must be said!"

Now it's a few weeks after,
The memory brings me laughter,
Remember folks when on the beach,
Keep your Kiko within your reach,
Because it is not fun at all,
To play ball games when you are the ball!
