FLOTSAM DAY SPECIAL
With the Council of Elders he sits
Waiting for a day when he can assist
His comrades and he have not been employed
Since the Monoceraptor was destroyed
Under the water he has great vision
He is captain of the Sea Division
Now he just sits in the Town Hall
During Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall
Any Tyrannian would wear a smile on their face
When with his presence they are graced
Flotsams everywhere say out loud:
"He deserves his own Faerieland cloud"
Despite his fame and glory true
This Flotsam is so very blue
He rarely ever has any fun
Yet his legacy has just begun
Shino the Striped Flotsam
Floating, gliding, diving
through the vast deep blue sea,
Shino swam so wild yet so free.
Where she dives and splashes all day,
all the Flotsams are out to play.
Sometimes the sea is so rough,
they all hug in the pirates' cove.
So that the waves won't wash them to the beach
as they prefer playing down here with our mates.
On the surface of the sea,
they get to see loads of interesting things.
Blue Shoryus whizzing past us
with a Halloween Scorchio right beneath!
Baby Cybunnies hopping around Terror Mountain
while Faerie Unis galloped on the pasture green.
Striped Tonu go knocking things over
as Flotsams like Shino
dance gracefully in the water.
Underneath the assuring water,
look! Oysters donning pearls!
Flipping and swirling in the magnificent blue,
is the most enjoyable thing anyone could do!
Tackling friends and chatting non-stop
is one of the things Shino likes to do.
Apple Chias look exceptionally delicious
and she shared it with a mutant dude!
Bloated and sleepy
Shino snuggles into her beauty bed.
Getting herself ready
for a brand new day!
Somewhere on the coast of Mystery Isle,
Around the jungles by a mile,
Lives the great kitchen cook,
A Flotsam who serves for a coconut crook!
But when his items don't come to reach,
(Since the mail isn't always
Delivered near the beach)
He asks for just a little bit of help,
For spells like boiled cauliflower kelp!
Now sometimes, it can cost too much,
But no one says he doesn't have a cook's touch.
And believe me, his prizes are great!
They never require much debate.
So if you're looking for a quest,
Get ready to put your skill to the test
Drop by the Flotsam's place
And join the great Kitchen Quest race!
A VERY Flattering Flotsam Poem
Flotsams are real hard to draw,
So I'm writing a poem instead.
To honor this aquatic Neopet,
With a horn growing outta its head.
So let's start the extolling
Of the Flotsam's anatomy
I've already covered the horn,
But not the flippers that take right to sea.
Their eyes are really big,
Which makes them very cute.
Oh, so much cuter than the Jetsam,
And cuteness reigns absolute.
But these cute little fishies pack a punch,
Or a slap, at least, in the Battledome.
A Flotsam will have your opponent
Limping and sobbing back home.
So now, after this reading this poem,
The message will seem quite clear.
If you want to see a perfect Flotsam owner,
Then just look in the mirror!
This rule does not apply to me
Because, I hate to say
I'd take fierce Jetsam over a cute Flotsam
Any Flotsam Day.
The Flotsam's Party
Near Flotsam Day, a Flotsam said:
"I'll make my own party instead!"
She swam down to the river bed,
And washed up all the plates.
She opened up her bank account,
And took one hundred thousand out.
This was enough, without a doubt
To make the party great.
She bought balloons and sausage rolls,
And apple pies, and cheese with holes.
She wound pink streamers 'round a pole
And made some paper hats.
She even made some goody bags
Containing little paper flags,
A keyring, and a money bag
She went down to the library,
And found a book of cookery.
She made a cake so sugary
You'd have to clean your teeth.
She made some little Flotsam cakes,
And bought some sticky gummy snakes.
She made some ice cream cones with flakes,
And bought some fine roast beef.
She did this all, and looked her best.
She wore her favourite stripy dress,
And then she waited for the guests...
But they just never came.
She hadn't thought to tell her friends
About the party in the end.
They all were 'round the riverbend,
Playing party games.
The moral of the tale is this:
However good the party is,
Tell your guests about it first,
Or you should expect the worst!
