Dubloon Dilemma

You're browsing the games from boredom in life,
Hoping to play one and lose all your strife.
"Dubloon Disaster?" you say with a smile,
"I'll give it a try for just a small while."

You uncheck the boxes (your Desktop is slow)
And then press the keys & watch your guy go!
You pick up the cash, no trouble at all,
But this time the coin is joined by a ball.

It's black like a void with a little red eye
That blinks like a cyclops as you race on by.
You twist to and fro between all the waves,
Dubloon Disaster is now what you crave.

The coins float on up,
Though it makes little sense...
Eh... who cares about physics,
So what if they're dense!
There's homework to do,
And chores you must tame...
Hold on for a minute!
Just, please, one more game!

And now you've got points three times in a row
Your fun is now over, away you must go.
No points will be had from each time you play
But tomorrow, you know, is an entire new day...

Aethia's Hunt

In a dusty old book,
the folded map laid.
On the map was a forest,
and a mysterious blade.

Finding the paper is where,
Aethia's hunt begins.
Entering the Haunted Woods,
is the end to all her grins.

She was sure this was a clue,
to the Battle Faerie's defeat.
Could this be the answer,
was this Valeane's retreat?

The forest was full of evil,
dark, chill and dreary.
Aethia must get through it,
If she hopes to prove her theory.

Deep in the dark shadows,
beady, red eyes leered.
Then her luck got worse,
when Fiona appeared.

She was panicked by threats,
from the evil Dark Faerie.
She took off without thinking,
for this lady was scary.

Tired from running,
and sure of defeat.
The place she was hunting,
is where they finally meet.

The next event was amazing.
A magical meeting then took place.
The long lost Battle Faerie,
enchanted this space.

With a worthy answer,
the red and silver swords her prize.
Using both of them together,
she drove Fiona off in surprise.

The Soup Kitchen

My Neopets were hungry
I tried to be witty
But nothing I got
Not even some pity

The Money Tree was full
But no food could I claim
I thought of my pets
Shaking their heads in shame

I asked strangers for food
Tried my best to provide
My pets still loved me
And to that I cried

Cold nights on the streets
No food in their bellies
I wished that I
Could afford some jelly

But, finally - alleluia!
I found a cool place
The Soup Kitchen of course!
So there I raced

My pets are now bloated
They're happy and joyous
And we live in harmony
Thanks to the Faerie that fed us

A Kacheek stands by the river

A Kacheek stands by the river,
A Poogle walks alone,
A Kougra sits by the Money Tree,
Far from its island home.

Flotsams and Jetsams swim in the ocean,
A Chia plays on the shore,
A Peophin hunts for treasure,
On the ocean floor.

Shoyrus fly high in the sky,
Along with Scorchios and Draiks,
Pterii fly alongside them,
Leaving Unis in their wake.

One day all these Neopets and more,
Will gather in the Neopian square,
For a time of peace and friendship,
And warm, happy stories to share.

Neopets from every corner of the world
Bruces and Aishas, too.
Myncies will play with Chombies,
There will be Krawks and Blumaroos.

Ixi will stand by Wockies,
Lupes will befriend Kaus,
Meercas will chase neggs with Cybunnies,
Everyone is happy now.

The Snowager's Potion

Together they stood at the mouth of the cave;
The Kougra was frightened,
but the Gelert was brave.
And there was no other way.

Their owner was sick, her future looked grave,
But the cure could be found
in the Snowager's cave,
And they had to save the day.

The two headed forward, into the dark.
The lantern they'd brought was only a spark
In the vast, empty black.

All of a sudden, they heard a dull roar,
Recognized it at once as the Snowager's snore,
And knew there was no turning back.

Soon they could see it, curled up and asleep,
Atop of a glittering treasure heap.
Full of riches of all kinds.

They spotted the bottle near the edge of the pile,
Though the distance was small,
It seemed like a mile,
To their frightened minds.

They gathered up courage
And ran towards the stack,
Forcing their minds onto a single track:
To get the potion and fly.

But just then the Snowager stirred in its rest;
The Kougra and Gelert held their breath
As the Snowager opened its eyes.

The Gelert's mind screamed,
"Get the potion and go!"
So he grabbed it and fled, the Kougra in tow,
With the Snowager right behind.

They burst from the cave, into the light.
The Snowager retreated; the two were all right.
And, relieved, they went home with their prize.
