You are on Page 276
Strange words and numbers spin in my brain,
A parade of nonsense that drives me insane.
If Peter Peophin picked purple neggs,
How many could he pick if he had no legs?
If Mark Mynci ordered chilli salmon souffle
And it was orangey-blue,
How much should he pay?
Puzzles and codewords, and brainteasers galore,
Are what you expect from this brain-taxing chore.
But if you're smart enough,
If you've got the brains, you get trophies,
NP, and a rare prize for your pains.
So go look it up; try your wits, try your smarts,
And see if you've got what it takes when it starts.
Running through the fields
The Petpets laugh and play
Until the evil Balthazar
Comes along one day
Samrin runs to save them
And grabs a Doglefox
He puts him in the paddock
And makes sure the door is locked
Three more Petpets left to save
Balthazar's coming near
Losing any of his pets
Is Samrin's biggest fear
He puts a Babaa in the pen
And then picks up a Noil
If he can save just one more pet
Balthazar's plans are foiled!
The Angelpuss turns around
And sees Balthazar's teeth
And when she thinks that it's all over
Samrin pulls her out of reach
The Petpets are all safe now
And again they run and play
Happily they laugh together
And hope their joy will stay
So if you want to help them out
Play and give it a try
Save the Petpets one by one
Go now, and don't be shy!
Illusen Packs Her Bags
She looked quite sadly at the ground
To see her things scattered all around.
With a small sigh and single tear,
Illusen knew the time was near.
"Up to Faerieland, I must now go."
More tears came, and she let them flow.
Illusen picked up her leafy green bag,
As she ascended, her shoulders did sag.
She feared the Dark Faeries,
Whom she may meet,
But the Light and Air Faeries
Seemed awfully sweet.
She looked down below at her ruined,
Charred glade, and thought of the home
She had lovingly made.
She was now close to the cloud in the sky;
She looked at Faerieland and started to cry.
"Why did this happen? What did I do?
Oh Meridell, I want to go back to you!"
But still she went, and was greeted with care.
The other Faeries had heard
Of the dreadful affair.
Jhudora approached, but she was not smug.
In fact, she gave Illusen a great big hug.
"I'm sorry that such a thing happened to you.
Illusen, I'm sorry you must live somewhere new.
Remember, I won't always be quite so nice.
I have a reputation that's colder than ice."
Illusen understood, and she really did see
That was simply the way things had to be.
With a small smile and clever wink,
She said, "Of course! What would people think?"
Meridell, make way for Darigan!
When I went to visit Meridell,
There was a pretty strange sight.
It seems that Meridell fell,
To Lord Darigan's might.
Where did the Turmaculus go?
He disappeared in fear.
He had no choice, though.
Darigan forces grew too near.
What about Illusen's Glade?
It is completely destroyed.
Look at the mess they made!
Illusen must be really annoyed.
The big ole marrow is gone as well.
Darigan came and left nothing to see.
It's a sad tale to tell.
Oh, why'd they take the marrow from me?
Oh no! Not the rolling cheese!
All that left is a rotten smell,
And the shaking knees,
Of the passersby as well.
All that is left standing,
Is the Meridell castle walls,
With King Skarl demanding,
That Meridell never falls!
Everything else is lost,
Good-bye to you!
War comes to a high cost,
Of losing Meridell. Boo hoo!
Snow Wars Saga
I faced my first opponent
he called himself "The scarf"
I had a huge advantage
from the very start
On my very first shot
I hit his pile of snow
I grinned with sheer ecstasy
as I heard him cry out "No!"
The rest of the game continued
in this one-sided fashion
I destroyed all of his structures
with brutal satisfaction
Finally, he admitted defeat
I received two snowballs, wet
then I beat the second round
and a medal I did get
I wasn't done just yet, though.
Not till I won the gold
I blasted through my opponents
even though the weather was cold
Pretty soon I had beaten them all
except for one last guy
his name was Tentar,
and he almost made me cry!
Every single time he fired
he seemed to get a hit
he was wearing down my
structures bit by icy bit
Then I saw an opening
how could I not have seen it before?
I fired a huge clump of snow
at the space, F4.
I got a hit, and he was sunk.
I proudly accepted my award
I had beaten all the challengers in Snow Wars,
though by now, I was quite bored!
