Trick Or Treat
As night came upon the Haunted Woods
Pets were going to Trick Or Treat,
They went to the local houses,
Asking for food that they could eat.
Halloween Aishas with their pointy tails,
Halloween Tonu with a face so green,
There were more Halloween pets,
Then you had ever seen.
Some ghost pets joined the Trick Or Treaters,
Jetsams, Moehogs and Draiks alike,
They went around Trick or Treating,
Some went by foot, and some by bike.
Then the mutant pets came to join them,
Their ugly faces masked in the night,
Spiky Techos and big strong Grundos,
They could give anyone a fright.
Other pets went Trick Or Treating,
Most were wearing a ghoulish mask,
All united by the thing they were doing,
Collecting candy was their task.
Different pets were all there that night,
Like Acara, Kyrii and the Buzz,
There outer differences did not matter,
If only every day was like that was.
Ghosts and goblins,
Balthazar and the Faerie Queen
seeing all these people
is enough to make you scream.
But all you see really,
on this Halloween night,
is a bunch of Neopets in costumes
oh what a sight!
There's a Pant Devil there
and an Earth Faerie over there
a giant Doglefox on the corner
and even human costumes they wear
but you gotta be careful
for sneaking in the night
there's something more frightening
with deadly might.
The real pant devil,
and the Ghost Lupe too
be careful and watchful,
they're out for you too!
so, if you see the Shadow Usul on the corner
a red eye and all,
be careful and watchful
for its not very small.
a flip of the light switch,
and it will be gone
for want of frightening more
before the crack of dawn.
Ode to the Pant Devil
Just around midnight,
While most people slept,
Two Jetsam boys
Through the Haunted Woods crept.
They were looking for adventure,
They were looking for surprise.
But they didn't know that watching them
Was a pair of glowing eyes...
THE PANT DEVIL!
They boys continued walking,
Never caring, never knowing,
Where they'd been, where they were,
Or where that they were going.
The Pant Devil saw his chance,
And leaped forth from the trees.
They boys' faces froze in terror,
And one was heard to scream,
THE PANT DEVIL!
Sneaking through the night
And feeding on the fright
Of the people that see him
When he comes into sight,
IT'S THE PANT DEVIL!
Instead of attacking
To leave you hurt badly,
The devious Pant Devil
Would much rather gladly
Take all your food
And your toys and you goods,
And leave you defenseless
In these Haunted Woods...
THAT PANT DEVIL!
The Pant Devil cackled
And took the boys' snacks,
And everything else
They had brought in their packs.
Then the thief just took off,
And flew far, far away,
Leaving the boys with nothing to say.
So if you have good items,
Protect them with care,
Or one day you may find
That they simply aren't there...
IT'S THE PANT DEVIL!
On Halloween night each year
When the sun goes down
All the Lupes everywhere
Terrorize every Neopian town
They cannot control what happens
Their nature starts to change them
They turn into huge WereLupe beasts
And cause all sorts of mayhem
When they change all I can say
Is that they are the scariest in the land
They strike fear in the hearts of all
With sharp teeth and big clawed hands
They make witches tremble
And scare all of the ghouls
The goblins hide away from them
Even vampires run like fools
The WereLupes have nasty tempers
They steal Trick or Treaters' candy
Every house is vandalized by them
And they always have the rest
of their pack handy
This goes on all Halloween night
Until the first sunlight
Then all the Lupes turn back to normal
And are ashamed by their sight
They see all of the trouble they caused
And volunteer to fix it
They apologize to everyone
For their late night mischief
Now I give you this warning
That every Halloween
You keep an eye out for WereLupes
Because they will be on the scene
The More Frightening Side Of Halloween
"Don't stay out late on Halloween!"
mother Kacheek warned.
Bobby Kacheek didn't listen,
He sat there and yawned.
On Halloween, Bobby set out
In his costume of Frankenstein.
His Mother warned again,
"I pray, be back at nine!"
Bobby was to meet with his friends,
All to go Trick or Treating
The group got together,
And uttered word of greeting.
Adee the Chia dressed as a witch,
Dan Blumaroo as Count Von Roo,
Terry Techo was dressed as a mummy,
And Barley Bruce was a witch too.
The night was warm and the group had fun,
But they lost any knowledge of the time.
"I'd better get home!" said Barley Bruce,
"In my house, lateness is considered a crime!"
The others agreed and all parted ways,
Making their ways home.
Bobby used a shortcut
through the Haunted Woods,
Where evil beings roam.
But alas, an eerie light caught Bobbys eye,
In the middle of the fearsome woods.
Bobby went closer to take a look,
Leaving behind his bag of goods.
A table laden with frightful foods,
With creatures all around!
The Haunted Woods was suddenly quiet,
No creature made a sound.
A witch caught Bobby's eye,
Adee the Chia was Bobby's guess!
But oh poor Bobby made a mistake,
As he tugged on the witch's dress.
Edna the Witch was livid,
"A mortal neopet on Halloween?
Let's teach him a lesson!"
Bobby's face went green.
As Bobby scanned the faces,
Horror struck him, it's true!
There was Hubrid Nox!
And awful Count Von Roo!
Every evil monster of Neopia.
Was here in celebration,
Of their own holiday, Halloween,
An evil, though pleasant, sensation.
"We have nice foods!" yelled Hubrid Nox,
"Like Chia eyes with leek,
But how about we have a delicacy,
A lively, fresh Kacheek!"
Bobby ran home as fast as he could,
His heart beating fast in his chest.
When home, he locked the door,
"My mother's right! I should have guessed!"
"That Halloween was a night for the evil ones,
To have their share of fun!"
Poor Bobby never disobeyed again,
After that frightful ordeal had been done.
