We Are Eyries
By too_kule

We soar above Neopia,
Higher than Faerieland,
Because we are the Neopets,
Who are the most grand.

Our wings so long and slender,
Perfect to achieve flight,
We may look like rough Neopets,
But our bark is worse than our bite!

We can move faster than the wind,
At many miles per hour,
Don't take us lightly in a fight,
We have lots of power!

Our Eyrie Peck and our Eyrie Screech,
Can take down the mightiest foes,
We're great for the Beauty Contest,
We have an excellent pose.

So now you know about us,
We're great as you can see,
Oops, I didn't give you our name,
I'll tell you, we are Eyries.

The Ballad Of The Eyrie
By battlesunn

Oe'r the frozen plains of Terror Mountain,
cross the forests, capped with pure snow
is a land, ancient and unviolated
a location, only the Eyries know.

Massive wings outstretched,
tail curled and held high
through the fierce and icy air
the mighty Eyrie flies.

Curved and shiny brazen beak,
bright golden brown eye
wicked talons at the ready,
the Eyrie soars through the sky.

Looking out over the world,
the Eyrie cries a piercing song,
filled with remorse and sadness
for the distance from home is long.

The wind ruffling their shaggy mane
the Eyrie stands tall and alone.
Those folded weary wings
will carry it proudly back home.

The Eyrie
By gummy_bear_

Broad, feathered wings
Stretching vastly to their sides
Strong and silent
The guardians of the skies.
Not making a sound they observe
Silently spying, not making a sound
Turn around, what was that?
That was an Eyrie watching you
Friendly but cautious these creatures must
Not be caged; let them free
It is the way they were meant to be
Wild Eyries, flying high
Gleaming up above
Beautiful, observant golden eyes
Glimmering within a cove
Beautiful, special and gallant
The eagles of Neopia soar
So completely free
Free, gliding above the clouds of Neopia
Free, looking down below
Free, the guardians of the skies

Eyrie Friend Forever
By mandiandandy

It's Eyrie Day! All gather 'round!
Sprint to the dance floor! Crank up the sound!
Make way for the king of Eyries,
Branston's his name
King of the dance floor, his fashion and fame

Gold medallion around his collar of feathers
Lady Eyries throw golden bouquets of heather
Around his feet, Neopians will fall
To his grace and his glory, the best of them all

He arrives every year for the feast of all times
Milk Chocolate treats and slushies of all kinds!
His kindness and loyalty to Neopians,
proud and true
He'll give you a smile whenever you're blue

Branston will give you
everything he has ever owned
Even if he's left with nothing,
it's his tenderness he shows
No one sees behind his snobbish traits
But there lying behind his mask
is a devoted partner,
Companion, and forever your friend

Eyrie Day Mess
By lacie_wozny

My Eyrie woke up expecting this day,
This wonderful celebration.
So he came downstairs jolly and gay,
But much to his devastation,

No celebration was being thrown,
No party, cake or smiles.
So he let out his breath and a short moan,
Then he thought for a while.

Why doesn't anyone even care?
Then he let out a silent tear.
At the time his heart did tear,
but he said, "No fear."

Then with a quiver in his voice,
he suddenly asked, "Why?
Why did you make this choice?"
Then he started to cry.

He slowly mumbles his inner hate,
about them forgetting this special day.
His mom turned around shocked at this rate,
She had something to say,

Listen up you silly lad,
we would never forget about you.
Eyrie day is tomorrow so don't get sad,
We will celebrate tomorrow, too.

So he was a little shy now,
For he knew that he had been wrong.
So he had to suffer anticipation now,
Waiting for tomorrow seemed so long.
