A Scientist Corrupted

Once upon a time, in Neopia’s youth,
Lived a scientist who searched for truth.
He sought to learn the secret he could
Of how the world worked, ever since childhood.

Frank would experiment with dirt and with grime
To try to figure out a reason or rhyme
For why mountains froze, or how gravity
May have caused an island to be filled with mystery.

One day, in an area that Frank had just cleared,
A new species of creature suddenly appeared. 
It had a big fluffy tail and a cute button nose
Looking downright adorable from its head to its toes.

Frank hated it. This cuddly little buddy
Would be such a nuisance while he tried to study.
After many years alone, he was undiscerning
when it came to anything interfering with his learning.

Then, in a flash, Frank’s brain did connect
A purpose for this creature: a new subject!
After so many years, his projects had grown stale
And this being could have a new secretive tale.

So Frank set up his latest equipment
Of the cute creature he planned to find its limit.
When he’d finished, his actions were clearly not prudent-
The creature had morphed into a monstrous mutant!

In Frank’s twisted head, this was an improvement
And got him thinking about a brand new movement.
If there were more ‘pets of this kind,
Perhaps this world could stay un-maligned.

With mutants like this, he could have a whole infantry
To keep others out of his private country.
In fact, if he ruled over the entire array,
Wouldn’t they all be better off anyway?

And with that, a new idea was born
Of world domination, and to this he was sworn.
His mind corrupted, he sought power absolute
Over every creature of Neopia - all cute and un-cute.

And to this day, the scientist continues to plot,
His aspirations dictating his every thought.
If he doesn’t get his way, he shall be wroth,
So beware the indomitable Dr. Frank Sloth!

(though, misunderstood)

"No! I want to be Sloth!" he answered so sure.
"I want to be strong and I want to be tall!"
Then he painted his face and put on a cloak
and said "And some day, I bet, I'll rule it all!"

His goals are dangerous, his demeanour scary
But I'm sure you did hear
Of one who inspires fear
And makes neopians everywhere feel wary

Yes, Dr. Frank Sloth is this genius's name							He may be evil, but he's earned his fame
Please put judgments away
For Sloth Appreciation Day
A time to admire him despite all the blame

Perhaps it wasn't with the best of intentions
But Sloth's had some impressive inventions
He lives with no regrets
He's why we have mutant pets
That might be worth living with these tensions

His mutant grundo army was horrifying
But recruitment must have felt glorifying
With all that spoken
I'm glad he's in a token
And we can admire him with no fear of dying!

A Feast To Dr. Sloth!

An oozing, bubbling, gooey mess--
For dear Frank Sloth we serve only the best!

Jujub cotton candy, Grundo toenails,
Boiled kacheek ears, sugared Ixi tails,
Mashed techo tongue with meteorite dust,
Banners flying, "In SLOTH WE TRUST!".

Bottled Space Faerie tears to wash down the course. 
Today is the day to celebrate with no remorse.
Our fearless leader deserves aplomb galore,
Bring out the roast cybunny, his minions demand more!

Experiments, test subjects, lab work, and charts.
Our brave master never quits, we give him our hearts.
So tonight we feast, sing, cry, and cheer!
Pass the poached draik eggs, for this is our year.
Neopia will bend the knee and join the cause
Dr. Frank Sloth deserves thunderous applause!

Across the expanse of the great dining hall,
A looming cloaked figure sits, a full plate before all.
No salted wocky nibs, or mynci tail has touched his lips,
Rather he surveys the mess hall and quietly quips,
."You fools, how pathetic and insignificant you are.
You mean nothing. How dare you show glee, I AM THE STAR.".

A hush falls over the crowd, cups of borovan spill,
Then movement begins, swaying and fist pumps break the still.
The silent air disturbed with the deepest of troth,
His supporters cry out, "WE LOVE YOU SLOTH!"

His name spreading fear where it is spoken,
However sometimes grasped within his hand,
A bubbling brew, a much-desired token.

Some may call him evil and cruel,
They say the monster is heartless,
But to you he’ll give more precious than a jewel,
A potion concocted in the darkness.

Have your pet drink it, they will mutate,
To many this villain is royalty,
To gain this potion, the price is not great,
All he wants is your unquestioning loyalty!

If you should see him it’s not always bad,
There is a chance you’ll receive rewards,
He may simply walk off, and you’ll be glad,
For a new avatar you can now use on the boards.

Though his invasion he may need to fund,
With points his associates take from you,
The amount he takes may leave you stunned,
But a new trophy there may now be to view.

Though in the Gallery of Evil he resides,
Seeing him doesn’t always result in a fray,
For sometimes treasures and items he will provide,
