Xweetok Day Special
Xweetok's Day Celebrations
Today is finally here,
And we are all excited to celebrate.
Our favourite species of Neopet,
On this very special date.
The Xweetok’s love to play hide and seek,
And win almost every game.
They have the best hiding spots,
Making yours look rather lame.
They love to scamper through the meadows,
Amongst the tall grass and the flowers.
They do not mind you chasing them,
As they can run for hours.
The Xweetok’s are very welcoming,
And will befriend almost every Neopet,
The most affectionate creature,
That you have ever met.
So, today we say thank you,
To the species we all adore.
Let's have a huge party,
And celebrate this day forevermore.
Happy Xweetok’s day!
The Lost Xweetok Prince
Oh lost prince where do you fall,
Tonight's the end of summers ball,
For broken tears upon the veil,
Twisted leaves against the trail,
Kingdoms shattered; Your mind a mess,
A xweetok's sob against her stress,
Poor lost prince, where have you run to?
Alone and scared, From that faeries old brew.
Garland spies with little blinking eyes,
Void shatters true; Pilfering lies,
Tonight you will lose the ever glowing light,
The soul in your heart filling with blight,
Oh; gone the prince, Vaciarse,
That is not your name; You are a stray
Forgotten in time; alone with no rhyme,
Maybe one day, You'll see the daytime.
The Speckled Xweetok's Message
"She was right!"
An out of breath Xweetok approaches you
Bags under his eyes as if daylight
Was almost a foreign concept to him
He adjusts his glasses in a panic,
And they immediately slip back down
It must be force of habit,
As he does it again and again.
"Xandra was right! Spread the word!"
Before you could ask who Xandra was,
He ran off at a speed that could win many-an-award.
Leaving you in the dust.
Later that day, you paid a visit
To the Gallery of Evil.
And that question in your mind, "Who is it?"
Had finally been answered.
Xandra was a Neopet, just like you.
Who cared not for the faerie's rule.
She thought that she could rule too.
Better than the faeries, even!
Be it because of a desire for power,
Or genuine concern caused by the monarchy,
She took over all Neopia, from the highest tower
To the very lowest of valleys.
She sealed the faeries into stone
So none could overthrow,
She had taken up the throne.
But without the powers of the faeries...
Dark creatures revealed themselves,
Slipping out of hiding. Scary!
They preyed upon the very Neopets
Xandra had tried to empower.
That line nagged at you, even as you read on.
The rest made her seem like it was power
And power alone she craved... but...
She was defeated, of course.
Fyora fell back in place as queen.
With a little bit of force
Everything went back to the way it was.
Xandra tried to help, didn't she?
That line came to the forefront of your mind
And you couldn't help but sort of agree
With that Xweetok passerby!
The Little Happy Red Xweetok
The little happy red Xweetok
Stared up at the sky and thought
One day she’d like to lie among the clouds
She longed to roam in its white tresses
Where the glorious bright sun blesses
Its brilliant warmth to those who soared the sky
She looked at her sister, a Uni
Flitting around with grace and beauty
With strong wings that never failed to fly
She watched her traverse up so high
Dancing with the clouds in awe she sighed
Wishing she could join her frolicking in the skies
Sparkling eyes watched as the Uni landed
With earnestness the Xweetok demanded
To know what it was like to be so close to the sun
The little happy red Xweetok
Stared up at the sky and thought
One night she’d like to lie among the stars
She yearned to stroll in their brightness
A sea of sparkles lighting darkness
All under the gaze of a glowing full moon
She looked at a Kougra, her brother
With sparkling Eventide fur like no other
Encapsulating an endless twilight sky
She saw shooting stars whiz between his eyes
His legs a never-ending sunset and sunrise
The Kougra the epitome of the perfect sky at dusk
She persistently asked him how it must felt
Wearing the sky as his personal belt
To know what it was like to be so close to the stars
The little happy red Xweetok
Filled with longing and hopeful thoughts
Knew her time to touch the sky would come
She was promised a gift but had to wait
With patience for the timing of fate
To receive the one thing she longed for the most
A paint brush or perhaps a potion
With a singular purpose, one notion
To turn this Xweetok into a Faerie with wings that would let her fly
Yes! Faerie-painted she could soar so free
And finally be in the place she desired to be
Among the sun and the moon and the clouds and the stars in the sky
But for now she remained on the ground
Waiting until the means to her dreams were found
Until the day where she could finally lie in the welcoming arms of the sky
Fairweather Scientific Tour
An anticipated Fairweather island tour,
Only a short boat trip to endure,
To contribute to the scientific community,
An archaeology and botany unity,
Two subjects with fantastic allure
Lillan dug up fossils galore,
From the volcano tops to the shore,
and amber observed,
more pieces to understanding the lore
Numerous delicate flower buds,
that flourished in the floods,
Rare patches of grass,
coloured golden and brass,
To study flora is in her blood
Celebrate her contributions
to the whole Neopia nation,
and for this Xweetok Day,
the collective voices say,
"Lillan, you deserve a vacation!"
Xena The Xweetok
Xena loved to celebrate,
all things big and small.
She loved to be with friends and family,
and always had a ball.
Xena was always,
the life of every party.
Always arriving to help set things up,
and never being tardy.
Xena was a social butterfly,
she seems to know everyone.
All of Neopia knew who she was,
because of her love for fun.
Xena was extra excited,
today was her most favourite day.
A day to celebrate Xweetoks like her,
in each and every way!
Xena couldn’t wait to see,
what new Xweetok colours today had in store.
She had been saving her neopoints all year,
and wanted a new paint job for sure.
Xena loved seeing all the new Xweetok items,
and trying all the brand new treats.
She loved trying on all the brand new wearables,
and of course trying all of the sweets.
Make sure you say hi to Xena,
when you head down to the celebrations today.
She will be the Xweetok with the biggest smile,
and the loudest cheer- Hooray!
Happy Xweetok Day!
Fashionably Late Xwees
Sheltered away and obscured by trees,
Lounging around in the temperate nature,
Out of the burrows pop-out some Xwees,
Away from civilization by acres and acres.
Per the course of ancient Neopian history,
Xweetoks were one of the last pet discoveries,
So their hit popularity is quite the mystery,
Ranking fifth as if omnipresent in our memories.
It's of no surprise that Xweetoks are adored,
Pair one with Neocash items and the shoe fits,
The NC Mall Popular Shopkeeper has the hoard,
Stocking favourites with the glam and the glitz.
Fashionably late is their method of madness,
For Xweetoks love to shine in the spotlight,
Bring 'em sweets and they'll epitomize gladness,
Have 'em tag along and everything will be alright.
The Robot Xweetok
Like a clock,
A screen unlocks
And a metal ensemble
Reboots, whirs into a walk—
Greetings from the Robot Xweetok.
Its sleek titanium suit is the envy
Of Virtupets and of course the talk
Of all Robot Neopets. The many
Buttons flash like an electroshock.
Still, this facade of stainless steel
Sustains inside a playful Xweetok
Whose interface starts to feel real
When it chases down GX-4 Oscillabots.
Even its self-cooling vents are cool,
And the internal battery like clockwork
Starts and stops without the use of fuel.
Some say it’s vigour that runs Xweetoks.
Even Robot Neopets need breaks when
Their operating platform is overworked.
In preparation for Xweetok day, then,
This robot needs its software reworked.
The metal paws thus interlock
And without any small talk,
The metal ensemble
Of a Robot Xweetok
The Flitting Faerie Xweetok
She flutters amongst peony fields
On a dewy morning
Breathing in faint scents
With pastel petals, falling
She visits her little friends
Making her rounds
Bringing them honey, morning dew
And fresh bakes from town
She'd help them too
With cleaning and adorning
Clearing leaves from log homes
And arranging flowers – how charming!
As the afternoon sun rises high
She eagerly takes flight
Her teal, lucent wings glistening
Catching in the light
She twirls amongst the skies
Lying gently on a cloud
She lazes and mulls over
Her thoughts, never spoken aloud
It's time to head home now
She flits to her treehouse home
Tomorrow she'll visit another meadow
For now, she'll rest for the roam.
Ballad of the Electric Xweetok
I was a "normal" Xweektok,
I lived day to day,
Running around Neopia,
Always looking for fun and play.
One day I was walking around Meridell,
And a storm came in a big swell,
In a field with nowhere to hide,
I kept on walking my fast stride.
But my hopes of getting to shelter was not found,
For soon I heard a loud CRACK,
Then I was on the ground.
The next thing I knew,
My fur was Electric Blue!
And when I began to run- I flew,
With lighting speed!
Oh that must be,
In the storm lighting must have hit me.
Not the best way to get painted,
I can tell you that,
But I was quick as lighting,
Gone in a flash.
My lovely blue fur was the envoy of town,
I was the best at fearie quests- hands down.
