The Shrine of Coltzan
I roamed the great Lost Desert,
In a very curvy line,
I did this just to locate,
A place called Coltzan's Shrine.
I'd heard he'd raise your level,
Make blue glow come from your hands,
He'd sometimes raise your defense,
Or make Dubloons come from the sand.
He could make great things happen,
One million NP, great!
Or stuff that wasn't so cool,
Like make burnt food (That is stuff I hate)
I approached the shrine shaking,
Like Coltzan was in the air,
I stood in front of the shrine,
And shut my eyes to prepare.
But nothing happened at all,
Nothing was given to me,
But then I was approached by,
An old electric Eyrie.
He apologised to me,
"It's just not working, you see.",
It was down for some repairs!
Repairs? But how could that be?
My Chomby and me--we went to see
a Petpet of great renown,
Turmaculus wasn't new to us
He grew up in my hometown!
I'm just a Greeble, smallish and feeble
--Peppercorn is my name
He won't recall how he threw a Gormball
And squashed me in third grade!
Great was his weight and great was his size,
A virtual monster before my eyes!
That's how he was then, and what is he now?
I must go see this behemoth cow!
Shhh--be quiet there he is!
Asleep, I thought he'd be
Flat on his belly all yellow and splotchy
Just under that Meridell tree.
I hear he's rich and can't wake up
he'll get my help with that!
I've a book of tricks three cubits thick
And Cybunnys to pull out of my hat!
If I tickle his toes will he blow his big nose?
Or roll over and fall back asleep?
If I seranade his slumber will it be a big blunder?
Or will he smile and and tell me that's sweet?
I can't tell you the end since it's over only when
he opens his eyes and treats me--
It's not happened yet and between us I bet
He loves the attention you see--!
Sarah the Blue Zafara
I was walking in Neopia one day,
when I stumbled on a item,
my pets and I knew not what it was,
and my Kau got sort of frightened.
We took the thing to Sarah,
the blue Zafara, very smart,
but we knew not where to find her,
went in the wrong direction for a start!
So we were walking along,
when we finally came to her home,
bent down to something on the lawn,
compared our discovery to a gnome.
But it wasn't a gnome or sorts,
my Gelert even told me so,
and that to Sarah's front door,
is where we should go.
So we knocked and her she comes,
the pet with glasses on her head,
she looked down at the object,
smiled and then she said.
"I know what it is!
Of course I should know,
and to Neoschool,
these little pets should go!
"It is just an evil fuzzle,
a broken one at that!
Probably been mangled,
by someone's Fat Cat."
So we discovered what it was,
the item from the ground,
and we just looked at it in our hands,
no one made a sound.
Until Sarah kicked us out.
A little Aisha fell fast asleep
But she saw Babaas instead of sheep.
One, two, three ... she started to count.
The number of Babaas continued to mount.
Then the little Aisha noticed something in black;
Each fluffy Babaa had numbers upon its back.
Oh no, she realized, it's a math test.
But that's tomorrow, right now I need rest!
Quickly she answered each sentence of numbers-
Those math questions that were
plaguing her slumbers.
The effect of each correct answer was funny;
Those Babaas disappeared as quick as a Cybunny.
Harder and faster those questions came down.
In her sleep, the little Aisha wore a dark frown.
Flip-flop went her stomach;
pit-a-pat went her heart.
Finally the young Aisha awoke with a start.
What a nightmare! What horrible dreams!
I'm worrying too much about that test it seems.
But before she could turn and drift back to sleep,
Her Beekadoodle alarm clock began to peep.
I've had no rest; I'm as tired as can be.
I just know that on my test I'll get a D.
But late that day, the young Aisha told her dad:
Those Babaas helped me get an A,
but I'm still mad!
The Ballad of Faeries
Darkness descended upon Neopia
The evil Darkia was coming
All six Faeries of Uber
Came without any summoning
Darkia's ambitions were cruel
To Neopia he was a threat
The Faeries of Uber came
Because they live to serve and protect
The was Nereid, Faerie of Water
Who with the power of the sea
Would banish the evil Darkia
His plans would never be
The Earth Faerie, Iyana
Fought with might of earth
With rocks and vines and nature,
Were her domain since her birth
Maelstra, the Faerie who mastered
The powers of the dark
Blasted evil Darkia
She hit right on the mark
The skies and air was Psellia's
The Uber Air Faerie
A blast of mighty wind
Darkia looked wary
The Faerie of good and light
Always loyal and true
Shone her light on Darkia
Through evil it went through
Last was Fuhnah,
Beloved Faerie of Fire
As she delt the last blow
It seemed Darkia was a lyer!
It seemed he was not weak at all
The battle was not done
Darkia overpowered the Faeries
Now he would have his fun
But then came more Faeries,
It was now a race
There was the Faeries of Snow
Battle, Negg and Space
Also were the Tooth
Island and Soup Faeries
All fought for Neopia
And all had powers that vary
And as the battle wore on
And many a blast were shot
Darkia was using his magic
The Faeries caught the lot
And as they all went down
Only the Soup Faerie remained
The Faeries had lost their powers
All were very ashamed
But when Darkia thought he'd won
And the Soup Faerie in despair
She wished with all her heart
For the safety of whom she cared
And within the tears she shed
Was the power to awaken
And as the Faeries revived
Darkia was definitely shaken
Now the Faeries rejuvenated
Let all their powers combine
They brought down the evil Darkia
And let the power of goodness shine
Now Neopia was safe again
The Faeries cleaned up the mess
With their sacred powers and love
Which with every Neopian they bless!
