The Depressed Potato
by xxautumnxx

Little depressed potato
I know how you feel
This world is cruel
You don't want to be part of a meal

Little depressed potato
Mashed, boiled, stuck in a stew
Is no exciting life
For a handsome spud like you

Little depressed potato
You lived your best life surrounded by worms
Until one day you were dug up
And taken by storm

Little depressed potato
There wasn't much that you could do
Lying there with the rest of your friends
Being sold in Neopian Health Foods

Little depressed potato
You are doing your best
Continue to be who you want to be
And in my stomach you can rest

Restocker's Delight
by metakitsune

I sit in all these shops,
Refreshing day and night,
Hoping for a restock,
That will end my plight.

I vow to nab a good one,
A rarity ninety-nine,
As I sit and restock,
I lose all track of time.

The shelves are stacked with items,
I'm longing for a clear,
All night I love to restock,
As the morning sun draws near.

Then rows of items flash,
As my eyes begin to scan,
Glad I caught I restock,
Before I caught another ban.

Oh how I love a walk-in,
Makes for quite the lucky day,
That is when a restock,
Waits for you to find your way.

Another hour passes,
Waiting for the shops to fill,
All I do is restock,
And try to make another mil.

The Strong Berry's Splendid Taste and Power
by _brainchild_

A berry of a crimson hue
Is such a tasty treat in lieu
Of snacks so bland. Food quite mundane
Will try to please your tongue in vain!

The texture of this joyful fruit
Is such a yummy form of loot.
So succulent and very fresh,
Pure happiness comes from its flesh.

Oh, have I mentioned STRENGTH so great?
I've tried this berry as of late.
For thirty minutes I could smash
All boulders. To their fate they crashed.

If you can't best that pull-up bar,
An option is to voyage far.
The isle shall host this treat so strange.
Its powers leave your goals in range.

A Board Trip
by littlehopeleft

Today we're doing something new,
come on, come on, bring the whole crew
We're going on a weirdo trip
Oh no! The baby stays here in his crib!

First we go to Trading Chat,
I hope you guys are prepared for that.
The tone is rough, the people shady
and still, we deal here mostly daily.

Next stop will be.. well more expensive
Protect your stuff with mile-high fences
overoffer, underoffer and soo much Neocash
No, not everything on here is trash.

Let's go, let's go
there is more to show!

After the visit of our next place
You'll truly need some space
Gamers sitting everywhere,
Nope, you'll need no playing gear,
maybe just a bit fresh air

One more, two more, we will see
I'm glad you guys still don't want to flee.
We're visiting the Battledome
Beat the best and win his crown.

Last stop is one of the weirdest places,
The people there with all their graces,
keeping times, and lending stuff
I guess that we have seen enough.

The tour will end here where it started.
I hope you guys will stay lighthearted
don't start to try to understand
it's like coming to a whole new land.
People seem a little special
Understanding them is not essential.
Be friendly, polite and have some humour
You'll wish you've started sooner.

Oh Nerkmid
by online_rockshow

I was very very hungry today,
Walking eagerly to the Money Tree,
I tripped upon a Nerkmid on the way,
An Aluminium one all for free.

So loud was my squeal of delight,
A few onlookers turned their head,
I quickly hid my Nerkmid out of sight,
I left before whispers could spread.

I made my way to the Neopian Plaza,
Stealthily moving behind the plushie shop
Getting wafts of delicious Pizza,
I made it to my final stop.

An Alien Aisha sat before me,
“My great machine gives the worlds loveliest food”
Finally something to fill my belly!
It put me in a wonderful mood.

And so I put my Nerkmid in,
Pressing buttons randomly,
So excited at what food I could win,
I pulled all 6 levers carefully.

With a rattle and a shake,
The item is ejected with a rush,
Steak? Fruitcake? Wheat Flakes?
Of all the days to get a Paintbrush!

Down, Down in The Darigan Halls.
by epicnamakuji

Down, down, in the Darigan halls
The Drackonack sleep, and the Batterfly crawls.
Round, round, the spire they go
The Korbat fly, and the sepulchres glow.

Deep, deep, in the tombs of the great
The dust-bunnies lay, the hour is late.
Scritch, scratch, on the parchment he writes
Lord Darigan sits, amongst candle-lights.

Cling, clang, the bars of the cell
For darkest of deeds, prisoners dwell.
Hush, hush, do not make a sound
Or angry guards, shall grind - shall pound.

Down, down, in the Darigan Halls
The torches that burn, cast a blaze on the wall.
Round, round the spire so tall
The shadow of Kass, have thee in it's thrall.

Mystery Island's Discovery
by philipp999_2

Rumours and legends from all around Neopia
telling the story of a mysterious place.
Is it real? Or is it only utopia?
No one knows what is the case.

Adventurers from all over the globe
sailed the seas to find a trace,
some never returned home, many lost hope
Will someone ever behold its grace?

It took an ambitious young sailor
a hero, who grew from his failure.
Sailing through the stormy sea day and night
fighting the sea with bravery and might.

The storm subsides, the horizon gets bright,
a euphoric scream: "Land in sight!"
Now I am ending my short summary,
this is the story of Mystery Island's discovery!

Ode To The Altador Cup
by skaterseeny

I am a contestant in the Altador Cup,
When a trumpet blows, I then step up.

Just like an Altadorian of old,
Prepared, athletic, brave and bold.

Sportsmanlike, with love of the game,
My fellow players I’m sure feel the same.

My chosen teammates all around,
And opposing teams all surround.

The crowd cheers, the loud fanfare,
The Yooyuball flies through the air.

Playing, drums and heart pound.
Falling, I scrape on the ground.

At least the slushie tasted good,
Like victory, I knew it would.

I hold the slushie in my fist grip,
And all over me it will drip.

I drink the slushie in one mouthful,
Whether we win is still doubtful.

Losing or winning does not matter,
Though with you, I wish it was the latter.

Day and Night in Neopia
by laurathenurse

I wake up to warm morning light,
what a nice new day!
it's time to see my neopets,
Oh boy, I can't wait!

The markets full,
the stores are packed,
I'll try my luck at games,
Maybe I'll get lucky,
In tombola today!

I spin every wheel I can,
With the neopoints in my pocket,
I head down to Kreludor,
in a badly painted sloth rocket.

While walking on Krawk island shores,
to find buried treasure,
I find ten dubloons,
My eyes glow with pleasure.

And when the sun finally sets,
I go to the shenkuu lunar temple,
But yet again I read the moon wrong,
I guess it's not that simple.

I feel the night- it's crystal clear,
I'll go to bed it's late!
Another day has come and gone,
I wonder if tomorrow will be as great.

The Money Tree
by jennifer3943

The Money Tree, a charity where you can get anything
You may get an amazing wearable
...or something so boring and terrible..

You can donate something yourself
Might as well donate your trash.
Or if you're feeling generous, maybe some cash :)

Beware, there are some ghosts stealing donations
But I guess that's kind of okay
After all, theft is a recurring occasion

Can't get any more items from the Money Tree?
You probably reached the daily limit
Well, just log back in tomorrow and go ahead and revisit it.
