The look that they gave me was quite a fright.
When I entered The Citadel on that very night.
A game of dodge ball being played, oh what a Sight.

The ball so round with spikes abound.
For sure these Kiko were Hospital bound.
In my astound I did not hear the, "INCOMING!" sound.

The ball was on it's way heading for my face.
The excited Kikos tried to give chase.
It hit me square on the nose, oh the disgrace!

I now head home with my bandaged nose.
A lesson learned learned about dodge ball now shows.
That with Darigan Kikos anything goes.

You might describe him "reclusive".
He's silent, sharp-eyed, battle-scarred.
The ninja's always on his guard.

Three Grundos once thought him inept,
Insulting him, but his adept
Quick action left two stretched out cold.
The last did not take long to fold
When he beheld his magic sword.
He warned the ninja of his lord—
That Farvor'd hear of this! he cried.
The Kiko took it in his stride.

The tavern keeper sat him down,
Told him how Grundos ruled the town.
That Farvor, and all his cruel gang,
Burnt houses, stole—deserved to hang.
Said, "Someone needs to do something…"
Hiroru looked back, said nothing.
Smiled when the keeper's back was turned,
For fighting left him unconcerned.

Where they bake scrumptious treats the Kiko way.

Kiko Lake Treats, it's called: a name, 
That reflects exactly what's within
Rock slices, candy apples, taffy, fudge-
Sweet treats that will surely make you smile and grin!

So take my word and pop right in,
Step inside this deceptively humble bakery:
You'll be greeted by a Kiko who's pleasant and plump,
A purple fellow most genuine- there's no fakery!

"The best food anywhere in Neopia!" 
He will proudly- and loudly- exclaim,
With an accolade like that, you'll have to try some-
To leave empty-handed would be a shame.

He waves a hand to a counter brimming with treats,
There are stacks of confectionary for days!
Popcorn balls, fudges, lollies, and more,
Even their famed rock sticks that come with candy glaze.

Yet all the choices overwhelm you,
And spin inside your head.
This isn't at all like the Crumpetmonger:
There, it's just a choice between pastries and bread!

"Can't decide? Try them all!"
The Kiko chef does say,
To your surprise, he hands you a massive, treat-filled box
And sends you- confused!- on your merry way.

And the Altador Cup winner is... Kiko Lake team!!

The Altador Cup this year reserved us a surprise,
The competition was won by the Kiko Lake guys.
They generally look weak, because they have no feet,
But they are able to cross the field in a heartbeat;
Bobbing and bouncing around, they actually confuse 
All their opponents managing to make them lose.
They all are Kikos, except for Erli Quinnock,
A Peophin goalkeeper who is able to block
Almost every yooyu thrown towards his net.
This way, the other lineups are not a real threat;
And Kiko Lake team wins almost every match.
Holbie Pinnock is the goalie and he can catch
All the yooyus passed to him by the other players:
He is for sure the most loved by the team supporters!
So, thanks Kiko Lake squad for every single emotion
You gave to us, the Altador Cup XV was so much fun!

The Tale of the Kiko's Bandage

Kiko was born a playful soul,
Causing mischief here and there.
When other pets saw him about,
They knew they must beware.

Kiko loved to make new tricks
And always raised the bar,
But one fine sunny summer's day
He took it way too far.

As Kiko was walking through the woods,
He came upon a pack
Of Jubjubs walking merrily
With bookbags on their back.

Kiko planned a nasty trick,
A scheme for all to hear:
He'd climb a tree, then pounce, attack!
And scare them from the rear.

Kiko scurried up ahead
To climb the tallest tree.
But as he sat, behind his back,
Came the buzzing of a bee.

"Away!" He whispered. "Shoo, be gone!"
But the bee would not obey.
And as he worked to shoo the bug,
The Jubjubs got away.

"You'll pay for this!" The Kiko cried,
Attempting to swat the bee. 
But as he did, the wind did blow,
And pushed him off the tree.

As Kiko fell, he saw a flash
Of the times he never cared.
He swore to never trick again
If only he'd be spared.

Suddenly a magic light
Brightened the sky around
And Kiko's fear turned into awe
As the Faerie Queen slowed him down.

"Young Kiko," said Fyora
As she set him on the ground,
"Your tricks have caused much chaos here
And hurt pets all around.

"But, now you see what kindness does,
How I've saved you from your fall.
The time has come to renounce your ways
And start doing good for all."

The Kiko knew the Queen was right,
That he must reform his days.
And so he promised to be good
And watch the games he plays.

The Queen and Kiko made a pact,
That he would try to be kind.
But sealing with a kiss was not
What Fyora had in mind.

So now as a reminder
Of the pain that had been spared,
The Kiko wears a bandage
To ensure he'll always care.

Archie, where does the week go
when I am playing your game? 

Shooting the bubbles, 
I forget all my troubles. 
While on the surface,
I am just another lost pebble, 
Bouncing along. 

Deep underwater, 
I feel like Poseidon’s daughter,
Queen of the lake. 
I know what’s at stake,
And I am totally in control. 

Up above,
the world keeps turning, 
But down below, 
I just focus on learning
The secrets at each level of the deep. 

I know the day will come, 
When I have to revisit the sun, 
a future for which I do not yearn. 
But, fear not, as I will always return, 
To your underwater cavern.
