Tyrannian Victory Day Special
Tyrannia is the Place to Be
by mewemy
Come visit prehistoric Tyrannia, there is much to see
Exploring both the jungle and plateau is key
There is a concert hall to rock to your favourite band
Even a giant omelette if you need a lending hand
Be sure to check out the canyons and cave
There is even a beast lair if you’re brave
With an active volcano and buildings of stone
Clothes made of leather and weapons of bone
Tyrannia features two wheels to be spun
Both offer an array of prizes to be won
With a live volcano for the bravest of souls
Stopping at this ancient city should be a goal
If you’re bored play some Destruct-o-Match three
Or traverse the jungle for a great site to see
No matter what you decide to stop and do
Tyrannia will surely impress you

Grab Some Omelette!
by neogal_anu
If you hear a stomach rumble,
One of your pets, maybe?
Fret not, no need to grumble,
Soon, they will be happy!
In the vast land of Neopia,
A simple solution awaits;
Travel to the land of Tyrannia,
And heed my advice, in good faith!
A scorching plateau does sit,
In this prehistoric land;
A delicious scent, what is it?
Oh Fyora! A giant omelette in the sand?!
Yes, the answer to your hunger
Is here under the boiling sun;
The Giant Omelette, do not fear,
Will fill you up so you can have fun!
Numerous flavours one does find,
The enormous omelette does provide;
Plain to gourmet, one-of-a-kind,
Your tummy will be delighted inside!
Plain, cheese, green pepper for starters,
Mushroom, sausage and tomato,
Pets with a knack for adventure
Might be sated only with chokato!
Once a day, trek up to Tyrannia,
Grab a bite or two maybe,
NP, you say? Oh, Neopia
Is generous enough to give it away for free!
So many kinds of omelette in one,
How in Fyora’s name, you ask?
Where did such an enormous egg come from,
It must be a herculean task!
Well, that’s a mystery, I say,
Many have tried to end.
That’s a job for another day,
For now, eat to your heart’s content!

Tusky the Tyrannian Slorg
by gumgum101230
In ancient times, when I was ten,
I adopted my first 'pet.
And once I gave them their own Slorg,
We were almost all set.
Though we were young and new to games,
We knew, despite our rush,
The Slorg deserved a name, of course,
And a Petpet Paint Brush!
My ‘pet and I thought up a scheme,
To paint the slimy slug--
We spun the Wheel of Monotony
And won a brand new... mug?
Just as we gave up hope for good,
We looked down at our friend.
The sneaky Slorg had found a Brush
With prehistoric blend!
Our Tyrannian Slorg stood tall,
Full of strength and pride--
We soon named him Tusky the Slorg
And he's never left our side!

The Alliance that Saved Tyrannia
by andypopo
The land of Tyrannia was once long lost,
only accessible through a cave of frost.
Neopia shook and trembled with a quake,
we didn't know a grand adventure this would make.
Through that tunnel of twists, turns and maze
came a land of rolling plains, plateau and caves.
The Neopians were friendly to our surprise,
greeted us with kindness and cheerful cries.
Whispers of invaders in the distance served to warn,
celebrations ceased with a call to arms.
Sadly there was turmoil and soon a war,
we banded together, victory we fought for.
They came in waves and the battle raged on,
together in strength each skirmish we won.
Grarrg was a strong leader and with his might,
we knew together we must continue to fight.
Just as we assumed victory was within view,
a trembling towering beast through the trees broke through.
"I am the Monoceraptor hear me roar,"
"I will tear this land to rubble as it was once before."
Despite his arrogance and might,
he failed to bring upon this land plight.
For Tyrannians and Neopians stood together strong,
and with that alliance peace in this land has stayed long.
We always pause to remember Tyrannian Victory Day,
as it represents more than victory, but friendship in every way.

A History Lesson
by dragon_trident
Nearly twenty years ago
we heard a rumble deep below,
A chasm opened in the ground
and all the townsfolk gathered round
What was this strange and wondrous sight?
A tunnel, opened overnight!
So those brave folk they went inside
and found a land they'd never spied
"It's called Tyrannia!" they said,
but then a thought crept in their heads:
"If we could take this land by force
we'd live like kings forevermore!"
And so a war was waged,
a war remembered to this day,
but did these villains have their way?
No...
It's Tyrannian Victory Day.

Don't Forget Tyrannia
by deus_machina
Should you ever visit Neopia,
Exotic worlds may catch your eye.
Altador's shining city,
Shenkuu reaching to the sky.
Don't forget humble Tyrannia,
Though it may seem very plain.
The rough and tumble people,
Are not its only claim to fame.
Go and visit the concert hall,
Should its music catch your ear.
Make sure you grab a slice of omelette,
Before it completely disappears.
See vast and verdant jungles,
and browse the Ugga Shinies.
Or maybe pick up a new Petpet,
But watch out, they can be spiny.
Maybe climb the dusty Plateau,
And discover it's ancient history.
Maybe try some Primordial Stew,
Or ponder the Obelisk's mystery.
If you really want a tale,
Ask the elders about the war.
How the Tyrannians fought valiantly,
Until its victory was assured.
So don't forget Tyrannia,
Should you ever wish to wander.
Through its people and its pride,
Tyrannia never be left to squander.

The Tyrannian National Anthem
by wurmsrus
Tyrannia, oh, Tyrannia
Great land only thought made up
Tyrannia, oh, Tyrannia
From a crack in the caves rose up
History was made in Neopia
With a new rock cornucopia
Friendly neighbours far and wide
Any doubts taken in stride
Defended from creatures big and small
Who wanted to destroy our concert hall
The mighty ‘raptor was no match
For our defenders mighty scratch
And so with our safety now ensured
We reflect on struggles we endured
To secure our rightful place
Tyrannia loved and embraced
From jungle to sprawling plateau
From great unknown to fame bestowed
We salute you night and day
Your honor shall not fade away

Wheel of Mediocrity
by singintomymouth
Not so long ago, in the land of Tyrannia,
Our finest minds did reel
Day and night, reworking, refining,
Perfecting our new invention – the wheel!
And what a miracle! What a tool!
A spinning wheel, how strange!
We painted it with tricks and prizes
And spun it freely (for a bit of change).
We spun the wheel nonstop, with frenzy,
Deafened by Grarrls and never broker.
But excitement soon dwindled and by the week’s end
Our new marvel seemed … rather mediocre.
The raining fireballs were a bit of a dud,
And the pterodactyl attacks were uninspired.
If only they’d created something more useful than a wheel--
Now all those “great” inventors have been fired.
But, whatever, you can still spin it.
You sure you wouldn’t rather visit the obelisk?
A hundred Neopoints a go – oh, look, here comes the Grarrl.
Enjoy your prize, I guess.

An Ode To Tyrannia
by mellody_sou_10
Tyrannia's name resembles tyranny,
but in fact it's a land of freedom.
In the quest against villainy,
fierce Tyrannians did what had to be done.
Pride and strength define the people,
yet there's not even an ounce of evil.
With a simple lifestyle,
everyone always has a bright smile.
From the Plateau to the village of Tyrammet,
no more united this nation could get.
From the depths of the jungle and beyond,
a cry for help a friend will always respond.
Unique language and native flora,
Tyrannia also has a beautiful aura.
Shining sun high above in the sky,
a warmth to the heart no one can deny.
A promise of a new battle still lingers,
yet worry it does not trigger.
With bravery, victory has been achieved once,
and with bravery, it shall be achieved twice.
All in all, rejoice!
For prosperity is a hard-earned gift.
And if it's ever taken away, there's always the choice
to stand up and resist!

Tyrannian Victory Day Special!
by sessduh
Gather around all of Neopia,
while we celebrate great Tyrannia.
We shout loud and proud today,
for it is Tyrannian Victory Day.
There once was war on our soil,
The land consumed by turmoil.
Chia bombers attacked villagers,
Tyrannians ran from the pillagers.
Chief council were in disarray,
Called upon warriors to join the fray.
A ferocious Lupe stood to fight,
And the attackers were sent into flight.
The enemy sent one more,
A beast so frightening etched into lore.
The Monoceraptor roared its head,
Expected fear, warriors stood brave instead.
Weapons and smoke filled the plain,
But the warriors took the reign.
The beast cut down and was finished,
Tyrannia's attackers were diminished.
See our plateaus, flora and plants,
Hear the natives' war chants.
Remember the rocks and giant trees,
years ago when our people became free.

Lair of the Beast (Tyrannia Day)
by sunbathr
In the darkness, howling, creeping,
wings unfolding, watching, seething,
waiting for a fateful meeting -
the beast is in its lair.
Scraping through the caverns, seeking
prey to make its hunger fleeting --
of its victims fear or feelings,
the beast has not a care.
In Tyrannian caves, a weakling,
wanders into the beasts greeting -
upon its roar, sets to squeaking,
out of awful fear.
Turns around and hightails, fleeing,
out into the sun's light gleaming,
to Tyrannia's plains retreating -
the beast waits in its lair.
