Bath Time
By sablebrock

A most horrendous shriek is heard
It is enough to make a brave warrior shudder
From a Neohome it is emitted
Who is screaming, you wonder?

If just a peek you will chance
Into the location of that scream
You will find that it is none other
Than a Gelert being scrubbed clean!

He squirms and wriggles and yowls
To no avail he howls
As the soapy suds fill his fur (or hair)
The poor owner struggles to keep him there

Very soon the critter is spotless
As the exhausted owner smiles proud.
The Gelert, with a twinkle in his eye
Goes away to roll in the mud

A most horrendous shriek is heard
It is enough to make a brave warrior shudder
From a Neohome it is emitted
Who is screaming, you wonder?

Warming Gem
By horrified_horizon

My feet were frozen, my hands gone numb
Lost in Terror Mountain I had become
I was certain that this would be it
All I had left was an empty first-aid kit
Upon the walk through frozen land
I saw the Snow Faerie with something in her hand
It sparkled blue, its aura so bright
My vision transfixed on this mystical light
She turned to me and she did grin
I saw the light begin to spin
An icy breath the wind did send
The light became the finest gem
"Come to me and take this piece
And all your woe will then cease."
She spoke to me and I walked on
And without warning, she was gone
But upon the snow the gem still sat
I reached for it, "Now what is that?"
The gem was warm and soothing to touch.
"Oh thank you Snow Faerie, thank you so much!"
And now with this gem
I began to trek again
With warmth and great power
I could finally look again for the Hidden Tower

Faerie Quest
By frogqueen1

That night was different than the rest
Something felt heavy on my chest

I reached down and felt around
But there was not a single sound

My head fell on my pillow
It felt extra cozy, like a marshmallow

I gazed out my window towards the sky
The moon shining like a big pizza pie

The stars sparkled in the dark
As the crickets chirped like little larks

Again, I felt something on my chest
I just simply could not rest!

I sat up with a jerk
As something flew from my shirt

A pair of emerald eyes stared at me
Attached to a very small body

The Faerie was clothed in a violet gown
Her lilac wings as light as down

A tiny crown perched on her head
An amethyst dangled on its crest

Her eyes sparkled like the stars above
Yet her hands remained un-gloved

She gazed at me with her mysterious eyes
I looked back bravely to my surprise

"Hello" she said in a voice as soft as a stream
I was in awe by the sound so opposite a scream

"Hi" I whispered back
Her bravery I did lack

Why had she come so far
From way above the stars?

She gently drifted near my face
Fluttering behind, her gown of lace

"What do you want" I asked the queen
She replied nothing except for a wink

Her calm mouth twitched with a smile
It was anything but vile

"I have chosen you" she said
I sat up from my bed

"For what" I managed to peep
She grinned and sat at my feet

"You have been chosen" she said
"To go on a Faerie quest."

Ode To Maraqua
By simple_rose

The moonlight shone across the sea,
Quiet and silver and shining.
From the nearest island to the farthest lea,
Shone the cloud with no silver lining.

The spirit has left this desolate place,
As silently as the midnight breeze
That wanders across my wrinkled old face,
Soft as a flower but loud as a sneeze.

I am always reminded of MARAQUA--
That beautiful city of old
That disappeared beneath waves of aqua
In a story that must be told.

I was there when the whirlpool began,
And there when the waves ceased to pound.
Maraqua is now called "an abandoned land,"
And my house still hasn't been found.

We are lucky that no one was hurt there,
All the residents escaped unscratched.
My friends have now settled elsewhere,
But I still want to go back.

I love Maraqua with all of my soul--
And I want to rebuild it quite soon.
Until that time, I will come out in the cold
To watch the path of the moon.

The Snowager
By minervastar

The Ice Caves give you quite a chill,
To venture forth, you say you will.
You creep in silently,
The Snowager is fast asleep.

You murmur a squeal of joy,
While you grab a shiny toy.
You do a little jig for glee!
But, doing this is quite loud, you see...

The Snowager utters a growl,
Your stomach starts to feel quite foul.
An icy blast fills the air.
It chills you to the roots of your hair!

"Poor me" you say,
And to your dismay,
You scream loudly,
And run away.

You left your toy,
You' re freezing cold,
It was a good try,
Though you found no gold.

You' re warming up,
As all has past,
And then you remind yourself at last,
YOU LEFT YOUR NEOPETS IN THE CAVE!!!
