Three cheer-cas for Meercas!

With a super long tail on which it can balance,
The Meerca is a pet that has many talents!
It has two big front teeth that will bite you in half!
Just kidding- Meercas are pranksters that love to laugh.
They like to eat Neggs, so watch out- they might steal yours!
If Meercas are around, quick, lock all of your doors!
If you're having a hard time finding your wallet,
I bet a Meerca is the last one who saw it.
They are so tiny that they can hide easily,
But if you search, you just might be able to see
The very tip of their lengthy tail sticking out,
And if you can spy one, say, "Hey you, come on out!"
For Meercas, playing pranks is a source of great pride.
Don't bother getting even- just take it in stride.
They might try to smuggle your favorite fuzzle toy,
Or switch your sugar with salt as another ploy.
Whoever they prank, I swear it's all in good fun...
As long as it's someone else and I'm not the one!

The Invisible Meerca

I have a pet – 
A Meerca is he.
He is beautiful and fun,
He is so precious to me.

I painted him Royal,
As he is my king.
He has a gleaming golden crown,
And a heavy diamond ring.

He wears a jewelled cape,
And holds a royal staff.
He’s not too stuffy though – 
He still enjoys a good laugh.

I hadn’t seen him for a day,
While he was off on a Tiki tour.
Enjoying sun, beach and sand,
And of course, cocktails galore.

He came home that evening – 
But how could I be sure?
For an invisible someone,
Just walked through our front door.

“An accident at the beach,” said he.
“Just some harmless fun.
Oh, don’t look so upset!
What’s done is done!”

“I’ll paint you again,
My handsome Royal boy.
Turn you back into a King,
And all your luxuries to enjoy.”

“You’ll have to find me first,” said he.
A cheeky tone in his voice
I glare at where I think he stands,
My Meerca does not have a choice.

The Crumpetmongering Meerca

There is a place in the Haunted Woods
called Neovia; it was once cursed.
But luckily for the town's inhabitants,
the effects were all reversed.

And in this place there is a store:
The Crumpetmonger is its name.
Run by a Meerca both voracious and kind,
it has earned well-deserved acclaim.

She is known by her tall, white pouf,
and her ornate, frilled purple dress.
But perhaps most distinctive of all,
is her apron's multicolored mess.

For scones and tarts and pies galore,
this Meerca painstakingly bakes.
She aspires to be a great patissier,
but she already has what it takes.

So for Meerca Day, pay a visit
to Neovia's exotic, spooky locale.
Make sure to visit the Crumpetmonger
to enjoy a pastry and make a new pal.

Meuka, the Snot Meerca!

One famous Meerca is feared all over the lands,
And all Neopets can for certain understand,
How sly and sneaky this one pet is,
To break into inventories that are not his.

He leaves behind a trail of slime,
Always after he has committed his crime.
Following a visit from him you'll find,
An unpleasant item he's left behind.

It's slimy and green and definitely gross.
You don't want to touch or come near it close.
And you realize the precious item you bought,
has just been replaced with a whole lot of snot!

Meuka, the snot Meerca laughs from afar!
Most pets think he is quite bizarre,
But he himself is clever and smart,
For he views these endeavors as a form of art!

This maze of my own making.
Snaking, twisting, bending
Low scores forever forsaking 

Red and yellow and even fish
Circling the grey expanse
Finishing strong's my greatest wish
My trophy cabinet I'd enhance

Forever crashing, always losing
My own tail trail costs me dearly
These defeats sometimes bruising
Close! So Close! Victorious? Nearly.

Woe is my determination to chase
My nemesis has always been me
But one day I WILL win this race
For now? I Meerca Chase eternally.
