The Hissi is a fearsome foe
And of them, Mutant most of all! 
Two heads, they say, are better than one,
If you meet this Hissi, you're certainly done!

With eyes of green and slits of red,
You better hope they've already been fed!
With their twin smiles and their sharp fangs,
Even the bravest of pets have come and ran!

Then there's the slow but scary Zombie Hissi,
Whose appearance will have you in a tizzy!
That cold dead skin with spots of sickly green,
There are few more dreadful sights to be seen!

That tattered purple shirt with stripes of red,
Looks quite unsettling when worn by the undead!
Those blank grey eyes that see none and all,
May prove to be your greatest downfall!

Last but not least, there's the Halloween Hissi,
With a devastating combo that'll leave you dizzy!
With two glowing eyes of putrid sickly green,
This is a sight you'll wish you'd never seen!

This Hissi is nothing but shadows and bones, 
In graveyards, does this creepy creature roam!
With a collection of rattling ribs on his back,
And a fearsome skull on his face as a mask!

Little Miss Hissi

There was once a young little Hissi
Who was far from girly and prissy.
Though pink and doe eyed
People were rather surprised; 
She'd rather be muddy than spiffy.

While seeking more boisterous adventure
She slithered off to Neopia's centre.
Stopped in her tracks
By a gang of Korbats;
She found it hard to manage her temper.

They cautioned; "Watch out, here, young missy!
Sorry! You're far too sissy.
Avoid going near the forest!"
Their warnings rang out in chorus.
She considered their tone too sniffy.

Seething and muttering she went on.
Stubbornly determined - to prove them wrong.
"I'm show them who's right!
I'm not afraid of a fright
Or what monsters or villains may spawn".

With meaning in her step, or rather her slither
Until she suddenly turned pale; and her spirit did wither.
There ahead, on the ground,
Stood Meepits, all around.
Fleeing back, our Hissi did dither.

Hissi Thief Outfit

I must admit, this outfit is
My favorite Hissi garb.
Although they're vintage clothes for sure,
I give them fond regards.

The second outfit to be made
Besides the Shenkuu one,
I think this outfit takes the cake.
It's stealthy, fierce and fun.

The Belt is worn upon the waist,
To clasp a dagger near.
The Rope is draped upon an arm,
Such handy burglar gear.

The Hood conceals the Hissi's face.
The Mask conceals its eyes.
The Gloves are worn on Hissi claws.
The Shirt completes its guise.

Although it's old and far from rare,
I'll buy this outfit soon.
It's sure to make my Hissi smile.
I hope it makes him swoon!

A Maraquan Hissies Help

I'd like to write a poem,
But I'm not so very good,
At getting all the words to rhyme,
In quite the way they should.

I struggle with the rhythm,
And the sounds are never right,
Even just a verse or two,
Is always such a fight!

But, I have a fun idea,
That can help me in a way,
To do something special,
For Hissi Day today.

A poem should be fluid,
Like a Maraquan Neopet,
It also should be just as long,
As a Hissies tail can get!

So, a Maraquan Hissi is my muse,
For a poem such as this,
And I know with such a guide,
I can never go amiss.

I follow down her tail,
With the verse I'd like to rhyme,
And her pink fins remind me,
To keep my words in time.

Without her calm assurance,
I'm sure I would go wrong,
So, I'm thankful to the Hissi,
That helped make my poem strong.

that are held within there

But the temptation of riches
is all that it takes

off to their fates

As within the tomb prowls
a massive monster Hissi
large as a building
though how he got there is a mystery

Perhaps an ancient defender
Or a guest at an ancient roast
This Hissi guard of the ruins
didn't stop upon becoming a ghost.

Those who wish to find the treasure
or are just in an exploring mood
must take care not to cross him
or risk becoming ghost food.

Is gorgeous and divine.
The sheen of frozen skin is nice—

The stripes of blue will captivate—
These shades will always please.

Do you hear what I hear?

What could possibly be this near?
You look around but the coast is clear.
Goosebumps appear, oh dear!

A little slither and a sneak,
Playing hide and go seek
With Neopia’s scaly snake, the Hissi,
Hiding from him makes me a little dizzy.

But let’s not get carried away,
Hissis know how to hunt their prey.
They have a keen sense of smell and vision,
Thus their ability to find you is a given!
