For months he had been waiting for this day,
In his bed all night he just lay.
He stared at the ceiling,
with the most excited feeling,
But he just couldn't wait-
It was almost that date--

He crept down the stairs,
On his neck stood the hairs;
But as he opened the door-
There was no decor--

It was there he saw,

When Lord Kass sought a brutal war

My favorite outfit for the Lupe,
This look is stylish, chic.
It's tough, and also feminine.
It's hardly frail or weak.

This outfit garbs a champion,
A femme that's fighter too.
The Armor is a weathered brown,
A lovely, earthy hue.

The Wig and Helmet shine so bright.
The hair is brightest green.
The forehead's graced with crown of gold,
The finest ever seen.

The Bracers shine with golden clasps.
They're leather, strong and hale.
They're worn by female champions,
Not by the sick or pale.

The Shoes are pliant miracles
Of softest, chestnut suede.
They're studded with some buttons gold,
The finest ever made.

A Necklace does complete this look.
A stunning gem of teal
Upon a sturdy leather rope
Is full of such appeal.

And finally, the lovely Sword,
The strongest ever built.
It sparkles with the sheen of steel,
With gems upon the hilt.

I love the Maiden Warrior clothes.
I think they're rather neat.
They're meant for independent Lupes
Who love to bare their teeth.

So celebrate the Warrior Lupe
Who swings her sword with skill!
She is a bold combatant, and
You cannot thwart her will!

I Build a Lupe out of Snow

I build a lupe out of snow
Pelt so white and eyes of coal
I gingerly carve life into him
And he is born, due to my whim

I spend my time in these white lands
Giving in to belly rubs he demands
He howls and rolls in the snow with glee
He cavorts and plays fetch with me

I pour my soul and give him my heart
So that we two shall never part
He accepts them and loyally he guards
Never leaving me alone in these yards

But all good things has to be fleeting
And we two, as well, shall be leaving
While the white cold has to go

A Close Encounter

A thin layer of fog kissed the horizon
Just off the coast of Mystery Island.
The moonlight shone through my ship’s sails
And as I pulled on shore, I heard the cries of lonely wails.
	
To my utmost horror and dread,
An illuminated figure with glowing eyes that were red
Stood defiantly in a torn sailor’s jacket and leered.
A menacing low growl escaped as I neared,
And despite my heart’s nervous protestations, 
I padded through the sand for a closer investigation. 

A soft gasp left my mouth and a bitter taste settled in,
My heartbeat quickened and my head began to spin.
I knelt to hide behind a rock,
And tried my best to not be shocked.

Did my misfortunes bring me to a ghoulish discover?
The tragic tale of Knight Sylva who lost his lover
To the Island’s horde of hostile natives
A tragic end to this love story fated.
Now jaded by the death of his love, 
The Ghost Lupe haunts Neopia in memory of.

I stifle a yelp in my throat that I felt growing,
My face was white as a sheet; fear was showing.
I retrace my steps backwards in hopes of being unseen.
Meeting the Ghost Lupe? I am not most keen.

Tale of The Legendary Lupe Warrior

Lily the Lupe and her family all gathered around,
They were telling stories while sitting on the ground,
Legends were historical stories to tell,
When they hear the sound of the Lupe bell,

Lily had an exciting story today,
It was about a Lupe who protected a kingdom all day,
His name was Sir Lupes-a-lot and he was very loyal,
To every villager and every royal,

One day, an evil Kacheek called Eliv,
Wanted to destroy Lupeland and all who live,
He had a terrifying plan to release a dragon,
Who had been sent away by Sir Luwarron,

Sir Luwarron was Lupes-a-lot's father,
And his family is what Eliv wants to smuther,
Let my plan plan begin! shouted the villain,
He released the dragon on top of Terror Mountain,

Everyone was very frightened of the hideous creature,
But Eliv laughed to his pleasure,
Not thinking Sir Lupes-a-lot can defend,
Like his father as he tend,

But Sir Lupes-a-lot was not brought down,
For he stood tall and didn't frown,
He faced the dragon, face-to-face,
I wouldn't do that if I were in his place!

Eliv thought that it wasn't fair,
That Sir Lupes-a-lot defeated him fair and square,
Eliv had cried, unsure what to do,
Crushed by the Lupe he always bullied and said, Boo!

Now Sir Lupes-a-lot was granted glory,
And that is all for this story,
Everyone loved it,
Lily knew it would fit,

She admired Sir Lupes-a-lot,
She admired him a lot,
Now it was time for another story,
But in another time, I'm very sorry!

I do not have a Lupe just yet,
But I'm saving up for one,
I'd rather have a Lupe than gold,
So my Neopoints will be gone.

I have the perfect outfit,
Already all picked out,
And when I get my new Lupe,
I'll give a happy shout!

I've been planning what to paint him,
When I finally get my 'pet,
But with all the splendid colours,
I haven't decided yet.

I cannot wait to get him,
There's so much I want to do.
When I get my special Lupe,
I'll stick to him like glue.

He's going to be a hero,
And I've bought him a nice sword,
To enter in the Battledome,
And bring me a reward.

I know he won't be very strong -
We'll train until he's tough,
But to me, my Lupe will always be,
My favourite ball of fluff!
