Fearless Defenders By Gamelover3

There they stand, so fearless and bold.
They'll fight for young Neopets, even in the cold.
With a fighting stance and a heart that's true,
They'll always do their best to fight for you.

They'll brave the toughest challenge,
Unmatched by their foes.
To Neopets they'll care,
They'll tend their every woe.
And when they hear a single cry,
You can bet they will always be nearby.

For they will never stop, never sleep,
And the world of Neopia lies in their keep.
A watchful eye on every place,
Their reward; a smile on every face.

Will they ever be unmatched; a crime too great?
Will the world of Neopia lie in evil's fate?
So salute your Defenders,
Be proud they are there,
For with them, justice and good
Can be found everywhere.

The Month of Relaxing By Ifixk9s

As we approach June, The Month of Relaxing,
It is actually the month of happening.

The first five days are ugh ugh,
with the sixth day dedicated to the JubJub.

These teeny-tiny creatures are very shy,
yet they seem to have a secretive side.
They are furry little friends with enormous feet,
and can defend themselves
with a deafening screech.

The next six days slide by without a wiggle,
and the thirteenth day
is dedicated to the Quiggle.

He is a happy-go-lucky frog,
whose favourite place is the Rainbow Pool log.
While splashing in the water and lying in the sun,
carrots, broccoli and asparagus is their preferred
choice of fun.

Skip the fourteenth day it is so slow,
but the fifteenth day is dedicated to the Nimmo.

They prefer peace over war,
for this loyal friend wishes for war no more.
This spiritual, meditating Neopet,
wishes to have his very own Petpet.

Skipping three days yet I don't know how,
the nineteenth day is dedicated to the Kau.

The herd is on it way,
so moooooove out of their way.
Their seek is over on this day,
for the ultimate Neopian pasture in which to play.
They love to sing a wonderful song,
as we moooooove this poem along.

Now skip eight days to be blissful,
the twenty-eighth day is dedicated to the Acara
Aquatic Festival.

As we approach the Island of Mystic,
the Acara's go absolutely ballistic.
For the hidden treasures they seek,
while playing Gormball on the beach.

This is the end, their is no more,
from JubJub's to Acara's there is never a bore.

Now you see why The Month of Relaxing,
is quite the opposite the month of happening.

Stars of All Sizes By Lunarstrike

I once met a yellow Elephante
who dreamed of being a star.
Though everyone did tell her,
"You won't get very far."

Still she refused to quit,
claiming they were wrong.
She was quite determined
to impress all with her song.

So she headed off all alone
to make herself a name.
She promised herself to walk
that rocky road to fame.

It wasn't quite as easy
as the Elephante had hoped.
Her audition was a disaster
from her very first note.

All the judges cringed
when the Elphante began.
So she left with a broken heart
and her suitcase in hand.

Ready to return home
she began to board a bus.
Her attention was caught, however,
by a Lenny making a fuss.

When he saw the Elephante,
he quieted with a stare.
"Perfect!" he exclaimed,
"My costume she must wear!"

She was fitted in an outfit
at a theater widely known.
A larger creature had been needed
since a new one could not be sewn.

So the very next night the Elephante
graced the stage, flown down from the wall.
Wearing a yellow, five point costume
making her a star after all.

Sir Cheekalot By Firebat25

Under the land where moonlight was seen
When a flash of light was seen
Rode a gallant horseman whose eyes were keen
He was a lonely knight on a mound
His sword was sharp and armor was bright
He bears the sign of the golden crown
The sight of him fills his foes with fright
His name is Sir Cheekalot

His burning rage nobody will defy
No sword will ever pierce his steed
He rides into battle with spirits high
A defender of righteous deeds

He wore a circlet of silver on his head
He is of all terror's doom
Onto his path no one will ever tread
His sword is his heirloom

Alas, he went, never to be seen again
by Neopets great and small
They said he disappeared over a glen
All they found was a red ball

The stones will lament for him ever be
For a hero so high and mighty
"For Sir Cheekalot we will never again see
so let the poem end, let it be."

Star Swept Night By Corkichik

A Neopet's perfect day,
Now ends with a star swept night.
Now there is darkness,
And just the stars are the light.

Let them rest their sweet heads,
For it has been a long day.
They will soon have good dreams,
And will have nothing to say.

The moon has come out,
The breeze sings a song.
The world is asleep,
Nothing will go wrong.

Each Neopet needs love,
As the stars need the sky.
Without love all goes wrong,
And nothing can get by.

So make every day,
A wonderful sight.
So that every eve,
Is a star swept night.
