Marafin Hide n’ Seek
by saiphami

Down in the depths of Maraqua
Lives a very happy critter
They say it’s called a Marafin
And I admit it’s got my heart all a-twitter

I explored every cove and lagoon
Looking for its cheerful face
In fact I searched high and low
Yet all I found was empty space

I was getting a bit dismayed
And ready to call off my quest
When suddenly I heard a cheeky gurgle
Delivered surely in jest

I chased the sound with careless abandon
Desperate to find the elusive being
After all, a prankster Marafin
Is surely a sight worth seeing

As I swam closer the gurgles sounded again
And this time they seemed nearer
But then, a slew of bubbles
Making me wish that the water was clearer

But I refused to give up now
I darted forward, and then as clear as could be
A gleeful little Marafin
Staring right back at me

My heart leapt with joy and delight
But the Marafin stuck out its tongue and waved its tiny fin
Dove into a mountain of Giant Green Kelp
And then the seeking began again!

Florg's Feeding
by royalpain33

Florg is waiting, he must be fed.
He is not picky, so serve up the spread.

Crying and wailing, until food appears.
If you are his server, best cover your ears.

The petpets arrive, ready to deliver.
Florg catches sight, and then starts to quiver.

That tongue shoots out and they all scatter.
They all try their best to escape the platter.

The tenna is eaten. The slorg is devoured.
He likes them all - sweet, salty, or sour.

Whether furry or smooth or slimy or scaly,
there is no preferred, he eats them all daily.

They hop and they scooch, eager to get away.
None of them chose to be part of this buffet.

A tally is taken, once the meal is complete.
If you fed him enough, then you are elite.

That avatar looks great, wear it with pride.
You took on Florg and are now qualified.

Moltara
by nicholasyugi

The forges burn with epic heat,
The cogs turn strong in fire’s keep,
Tunnels rage with lava flow,
And darkness falls in chasms bellow,

A metal city lanterns ablaze,
Lighting what was once dark caves,
Filled with workshops,
Filled with homes,
Filled with metal, rock and stone,

Neopets swarm from all the lands,
To buy the wares made by Tangor’s hands,
They wait and watch the magma pool
To slip past the guard and paint themselves new,

The caves and boulders provide dangerous games,
For those who risk life, limb and flames,
To enter the city is wonders fun,
For all the Neopets who just escaped the sun

The ancient city discovered not long ago,
Provides a world for us to go,
Neopets play, travel and see,
But for once Moltara might be a place to stay,

Stand on the steps of City Hall,
And look out at the place you are,
A world of cranks, sprockets and gears,
Is a world for us to spend our years.

The Runaway Kadoatie.
by dortho

The runnaway Kadoadie, happy as could be,
Not liking being in a cage, he did flee!
He broke himself out from the cage that bound him,
And ran and hid, hoping no one could find him!

Hid in the desert, hid in the trees,
Pretending to be camoflauge, Oh gees!
All kinds of itchy because of the fleas,
Could someone help him, please?

He doesn't need an unpleasant fate with Ugga Smash,
Or to play the lottery, he needs no cash!
Feed Florg is out of the question,
Don't let him go in that direction!

If you see him, can you drop me a note?
Hopefully he didn't eat a rotten artichoke.
As long as he's well, that's sublime!
And thank you for reading and donating your time!

The Deserted Tomb of Geraptiku
by dinolover89

Traipsing tentatively, ever so breathlessly
Through the Lost City of Geraptiku
Wishing so desperately, hoping so endlessly
That your walk through here will be over soon

Dodging the skulls that litter the ground
Isn't so easy; It makes your heart pound

But all of a sudden you stumble across
A tall, proud stone pyramid covered in moss

Your eyes open wide, you stroll right inside
But the choice that you made may soon give you regret;
You feel petrified - you just want to hide;
At every other corner you meet a new threat

Traps of all sorts have been strewn all around
And slicing the silence is nought a sweet sound

After two days of searching you're so very lost
But out of the blue suddenly you come across...

Oh, goodness! Oh, my! You can't help but pry
As sat in the distance is a chamber of treasure
You go peak inside... and give smile wry
As the chamber is empty and you're tired beyond measure

Disheartened and glum you exit the tomb
You won't be trying THAT again very soon!
