BLUMAROO DAY SPECIAL
Blumaroo Day Festivities
Roo Island is where I want to be
On this day of celebration;
The Blumaroos all gather there
with much anticipation.
The banners are hung,
The music is played,
The Merry Go Round is a whirling;
‘Pets near and far,
Bring their best caviar,
Then the dancing begins, and the twirling.
When Blumaroo Day must come to a close
There won’t be any tears shed;
Since the Blumaroo motto is to live happily
We will look forward to next year instead!
Yay for Blumaroo Day!
Let's all smile and cheer,
it is Blumaroo Day!
Time to party with
each one, from
the red 'Roos
to the Grey
(who may not
but should be
on this day).
in every shape
and size, and
it's that time
to share cake
with the ones
(I'm talking to you,
Count Von Roo!)
Although for AAA
does not rest,
he loves this day,
and this genius
What is Neopia
Let us not forget
the pizza maker
is a 'Roo too!
On that note,
do not forget
to greet dear
Chef Bonju too!
What a glorious day
it must be,
who know good food
and spreading glee.
Happy Blumaroo Day
from me to all of you
May you enjoy it,
no matter what you do!
Blumaroo Tail Salad Extravaganza
I blanch with fear, I'm full of dread.
This salad is the worst.
It's made from tails of Blumaroo.
This salad is accursed.
I normally don't mind the fact
That foods on this odd site
Are made from actual Neopets.
I'm never filled with fright.
But when I saw this this errant food,
My mind was so distressed.
It looks disgusting, sad and weird.
I'm shocked, I must confess.
It's rightfully a Spooky Food.
The tails are twisted, bent.
It's like they're trying to escape
Their sad predicament.
For now, I'll just avoid the sight
Of this most awful food.
This salad is horrific stuff!
This salad is so crude!
Desert Blumaroo Sculpture
Ancient echo, desert’s call,
The sound of shifting sands.
The Pyramid, a sentinel,
On golden plain, it stands.
Artefact of ages past,
A figure, cast in gold.
A relic passed down through the years,
A gift from days of old.
Etched, the form of Blumaroo,
Aloof, expression seems.
Lost to time the statue seems,
Encased in desert dreams.
Half buried in the gold grains,
A glimpse of figure’s face.
An artefact so near concealed,
Once lost without a trace.
The curve of ears so etched in gold,
The sheen of statue’s gaze.
Piercing do they meet the sky,
And glare through desert haze.
A sentinel within the sand,
To rest there is his fate.
The statue to be found, one day,
Until then, shall he wait.
Danger in a Bounce
Wings distant yet relentless
of dangerous red-blue
do flap without distraction towards a Jelly Blumaroo.
Said Blumaroo flees swiftly
Into a gamble's jaws--
death by frothy jelly pit, or pterodactyl claws?
For any glimpse of safety's hold,
great chances he will take:
A calculated, shaky leap with every move he'll make.
Slowly swaying platforms loom
above him and below,
the chance of life, unsteadiness, does scarcely seem to grow.
Yet through fatigue and wobbly tail,
A will to live will triumph even through the cramps and pains.
And so, the Blumaroo still hops,
Perhaps e'en to this day,
led by the steadfast hope that he will someday get away.
King Roo's Nemesis
While most Blumaroo
are fun-loving types
there are some that prefer
anger and strife.
And since the king of Blumaroo
is the Jovial King Roo
it would be apparent that the dark ones
have their own king too.
So while the good King Roo
is fun loving and plays games
his nemesis, King Roothless
is rather, quite lame
For he hates all games
and joy and most fun
what he counts as enjoyment
is throwing others into a dungeon
Deep down, it's to prove he's better,
or superior, or faster
he's set to prove that
he's the real Games Master!
So watch out King Roo
and beware AAA; Try to be great
for as long as King Roothless is out
all your high scores are at stake!
The Deadliest Blumaroo
Across the wide and shimmering sea,
Through forests green and wild,
Along jagged coast and peninsula,
To an island much reviled.
Below avid gamers, jester kings,
Beyond coloured souvenirs,
Past babbling brooks and Merry Go Rounds,
Under the bright, sparkling veneer.
Beneath ancient door and archway,
Under earth and stone and spell,
Between shadows and flickering candleglow,
To hear death's solemn knell.
Amid timeworn rock and lost whispers,
Where Greebles don't dare to creep,
In forgotten halls beneath the world,
Where doom waits in the deep.
Down crumbling stair, into the gloom,
Enter a sinister, arching door,
Into a decaying chamber,
And a coffin on the floor.
Remain, and wait, for soon enough,
At midnight's heavy toll,
Floating in the dusty air,
Comes a sound to chill the soul.
"Test your luck!" the darkness says,
The ground begins to quake.
"But keep your junk and Neopoints--
We'll play for higher stakes!
Too deep now to run and hide,
The dice decide your fate.
Below the earth, the Count rules all,
A lesson learned--too late!
Ascend again, and don't return,
If you know what's good for you!
And spread the tale to all who'll hear,
Of the deadly Count Von Roo!
The Unconverted Faerie Blumaroo
Amongst the clouds of Faerieland, back in a time of old
Faerie Blumaroos whizzed about in playful joy
Gossamer wings and easy smiles- what a sight to behold!
Now a relic of a forgotten era, they sit, taut, in pose
A pastel palette appeals easily to the eye
As do heart-shaped feet and a gently curving nose
Delicate paws excitedly wave,
A spring-like tail, held, ready to bounce
Eyes inquisitive, intrepid and brave-
They're simply begging to be idolized and adored,
Dolled up in shiny new backgrounds, trinkets
Unconverted, yes- but loved, not ignored
Many became lost throughout the years
Some forgotten; many befell uncertain fates
Yet those left are to be treasured- from their perky wings
To their perfect floppy ears
1. Bouncy; 2. Happy; and 3. fancy free:
these are the Blumaroo qualities that stick out to me;
when I see one with its heart-shaped pads on its feet,
droopy ears and dispositions so sweet,
I can't help but smile - what a treat!
... Although there's one in particular that if I saw, I'd flee;
"Nobody messes with Count Von Roo" - a warning I heed!
1. Dark eyes 2. sharp fangs; and evil -- number 3!:
qualities the make it unwise to disturb him, indeed!
A bloodsucking Blumaroo who arrived on Halloween --
crouched in his cape -- I'd see him and scream!
My Favorite Blumaroo Colors
Blumaroo paintbrush colors are a large amount!
First, the Baby blumaroo is as sweet as a plum
Halloween is a fitting costume tribute to the Count
And Anubis would be happy to see the exquisite desert blum
The Pirate looks like the nicer cousin of the Stealthy
While the Tyrannian makes me want to hug them before they start the "uggs"
The Maraquans are a school of beautiful hippocampi
Need I say anything about the Royals and their majestic crowns?
Not to forget rich dark chocolate with cherries too
And an adorable creamy white swirl on their belly,
"Boing boing!" said a passing happy blumaroo
If I wasn't bouncy enough, I'm now a lemon jelly!
Transparent,Eventide and Island are nice too,
But the other colors could work as customization bases...
So start saving some NP, if you own a blumaroo, or two!
It'll put a bright smile on their friendly faces :)
