QUIGGLE DAY SPECIAL

It's Quiggle Day!
by deathnote5

A wonderous Quiggle had appeared,
Beneath the bushes below

Lending its ears,
Only to jump to and fro

"It's Quiggle Day!" they all cried,
Their singing bellowing around their world

"It's Quiggle Day, come and play!"
They cried again, their wisdom to love and hold.

Quiggle Day shall be remembered and to be savored,
It's always much better than a popsicle that is Tigerbuggle flavored.

Ode To a Quiggle
by chocolatemuffin4

A quiggle green, red or blue,
I cannot wait to adopt you,
A simple pet with long arms,
And known for their charms.

A misunderstood Neopet you are,
But your dreams reach to the stars,
A content creature not regal or vain,
But you love your walks in the rain.

Ode to a quiggle your heart is true,
Those that care are fair and few,
But their loyalty stands until the end,
With a Quiggle you'll always have a friend.

Quiggle Holiday
by akahades

A quiggle leaps into the pond,
Green as trees, with legs so long.
Another sits upon the grass.
Hear her sing, a tender lass!

A third plays up against a wall
With a bright red, bouncing ball,
While the fourth enjoys the sun.
Watch him stretch his legs and run!

The quiggles love to laugh and play,
On their summer holiday!
Listen as the quiggles say
"Have a happy Quiggle Day!"

Catching Flies
by dr_tomoe

A Quiggle's delightful lunch
and having a munching meal
so off to the bond he goes
with a happy zeal

Flies all around the water
and buzzing all about
all just waiting to be caught
when he lashes his tongue out

But these flies won't go easy
they don't want to be eaten, see
So they split apart and break away
and then come the bees

But bee's are tasty too
just be sure not to get stung
just open wide and try to catch
them on your tongue.

It's a feast for Quiggles far and wide
to get those tasty treats
for the flycatcher Quiggle
victory will taste sweet.

The Ice Quiggle
by amethyst_81

So brilliantly she sparkles,
As a flawlessly cut jewel,
Gazing up from frozen depths,
A rugged mountain pool.

Terror Mountain's precious gem,
A wonder to behold,
Her icy skin reflects the sun,
As smooth as it is cold.

Mysterious and beautiful,
A Quiggle rare indeed,
She moves with grace upon the land,
And swims with lightning speed.

Alone, she lives in solitude,
Oft hidden in plain sight,
But some claim to have seen her,
Glowing 'neath the pale moonlight.

Caught up in her azure eyes,
Such crystalline perfection,
Take care or you shall lose yourself,
Transfixed in her reflection.

The Last Quiggle Standing
by cutieblinx

In the vast lands of Neopia,
from the extremities of Tyrannia,
a Quiggle sprawl in frost,
alone and lost.

Stranded in an empty land,
buried in a pile of sand,
awakened by the aftermath
of the tribe's path to wrath.

A bolt of lightning strikes,
glory slashed from their lives.
The tribe, out of sight,
endangered? extinct? it might.

Colorful puzzles scatter
and fills his gray matter.
Visions of the stars betray;
his compass left astray.

But with a flick of the dove,
this one last frog rise,
out of the pile of sand,
a rock remains in hand.

Gone perhaps, the tribe of Ugg-ga.
Yet, behind the tragedy lies
the profound enigma
of the last Quiggle standing.

Quiggle of Magma
by anjie

Within a world of clockwork iron,
Where rhythmic metal sings.
You’ll find the creature, fire born,
Whom to the magma clings.

Subterranean, his realm,
Of liquid flame he forms.
Deep within the underground,
Volcano rages, storms.

Inferno seems the vivid gaze,
Lit by the fire’s light.
Twin lanterns serve as creature’s eyes,
Illuminates dark night.

Where kinfolk dwell on river’s bank,
Green Lilly pads drift slow.
He shuns the cobalt, flowing stream,
To bask in fire’s glow.

Quiggle of Moltara’s depths,
Form graced in burning hue.
Dark shimmer runs through Quiggle’s shape,
Like magma, flowing through.

No swipe of paint can form this shade,
No trick of brush’s glide,
For creature burns within his soul,
He’s Magma, deep inside.

Wary now, watch for the glow,
As gaze lights darkest night.
The onyx form laced with the sheen,
That burns with fire’s light.

So Quiggle dwells within the depths,
From fire, where he grew.
Alight his form doth ever glow,
Bright magma running through.

The Sly Coconut Shy Quiggle
by _brainchild_

Ugh, this game is surely rigged.
I have never lost so big!
This is anything but fun—
I cannot topple coconuts.

Yet the Quiggle grins at me.
"You'll knock one down. Just wait and see!"
"Fine, you ogre, one more try."
In frustration, I shall cry.

I hurl the ball with all my might.
To my absolute delight,
The shabby coconut explodes!
I feel awesome, very so!

The Quiggle frowns. "All right, you've won.
500k. Now please, be done!"
I'm most joyful. Hugging gold,
I have a ton of cash to hold.

Then I realize a fact—
All my wealth is not intact.
"Don't I get an item, too?"
I ask the Quiggle as he broods.

"Yeah, you're right, so here it is.
Now be gone, you dreadful miss!"
I run home most happily,
Laughing quite excitedly.

That night, I can hardly sleep
Since I have such wealth to keep.
I grin with elated glee.
This jackpot was most lucky.

The Wheel of Monotony: The Wheelmaster
by clkirsanova

A Tyrannian Quiggle sits beside the Wheel of Monotony.
His grim expression displays it’s not the place he wants to be.

Despite his boredom, he greets his customers with encouragement.
Offers a chair, a cup of dung coffee, never shows a sign of resent.

He looks at his sundial wristwatch, boredom strikes again.
“When will the wheel stop spinning? Only time will tell,” he contends.

Though idle and weary, the Wheelmaster never goes astray.
“Want to spin the wheel? Whenever you’re ready, I’ve got all day.”

Snot Quiggle Plushie
by indulgences

I hug it close, I hug it near.
I love this little tyke.
Alas, this plushie's wet with snot,
More squishy than I'd like.

I wonder what would happen if
I washed it in the tub.
I don't want it to melt away.
That would be such a flub.

For now, I gaze upon its face,
And kiss its sticky cheek.
I wipe my mouth quite furtively.
The snot comes off in streaks.

My friends don't understand my love
For everything hued Snot.
I kiss my special Quiggle toy,
But they would rather not.

I think the color Snot is cool,
So anti-Faerie-pink.
It's something that is strange and weird,
And makes you double think.

It's not a fierce or gloomy hue.
It's not dramatic, sad.
The color Snot is humorous,
An everlasting gag.

I'll keep my plushie close at hand,
Though never clean or dry.
I love him just the way he is,
My special little guy!
