A Wocky Winter Day

Cabin fever has had its way,
So she ventures forth into a day
Of winter’s splendor, crisp and bright,
Imbued with nature’s purest white.

An ideal coat, both warm and soft,
Protects her from the icy frost;
Her fondness for adventure’s thrill
Coaxes her out, in spite of chill.

Her senses heightened, sharp and keen,
Detect small creatures yet unseen;
She creeps through snow as though to pounce
On an unsuspecting Miamouse.

Her eyes are aglow with the rush of fun
As her pink ruff glistens in the sun;
But the Miamouse sees his foe too late,
And stands resigned to meet his fate.

Her superior prowess is cause for dread,
Yet, no harm befalls his silken head;
Her curiosity now thus spent,
She goes about her day content.

As the Wocky Jelly Keeper wobbles in the light.
The Giant Jelly with its flavours looms into sight.

Everyday there are Neopians looking for a meal,
The Wocky watches a hungry Bruce get its fill.
He sighs as the Bruce takes the poisonous one,

The Month of Celebrating had arrived,
And the yellow Wocky was in a holiday jive.
He stared longingly out the window
At all the pets romping in the snow.

"I could use a break," the Wocky decided,
So right out the door he gracefully glided,
But it was then as he closed the shop door
That he saw a pet sobbing on the snow floor.

"What's wrong?" the Wocky asked,
"Look at all this snow you have to bask!
The holidays have finally arrived,
And Terror Mountain couldn't look more alive.
Look at the decorated trees
And the lights  sparkling with glee.
The Advent Calendar is giving out plushies,
Or perhaps would you prefer a slushie?"

The young pet sniffed and wiped his tears
And said, "It's not the season that I fear!
I bought one of your scratchcards today,
And scratched six spots off as you say,
But oh, my luck today must have sank,
Because I got two skulls and four blanks!"

Wobly Wocky Wallace
Is balancing wickedly. 
He catches items falling, 
Falling down from a magical junk tree.

Down comes corn, and books, and shells, 
He catches them all, and more. 
There’s nothing that this tree won’t give. 
Here’s to hoping his prizes don’t meet the floor.

Then suddenly Wallace hits a wall, 
With one little bump, a crash, a fall, 
A cry, a wimper, and a roll, 
His pile does not at all seem so tall. 

As Wallace was so greedy,
As Wallace was so speedy,
As Wallace was so needy, 
He ended up with nothing, nothing at all.

Blue Wocky Costume

I step into this furry suit
And zip myself right up.
I think this suit's adorable.
It looks so cute close up.

I pat my newly furry arms.
They're turquoise, like my coat.
A muff of sleekest, pinkest fur
Adorns my happy throat.

I'm such a fan of costumes, and
I love this costume best.
This costume really takes the cake.
It's better than the rest.

It's sweet, just like the Wocky is.
Its tail is perky, small.
This costume makes me sigh with joy.
With it, I am enthralled!
