This awful Scab Cake --
In my stomach it resides.

Who would ever think of
Such a sick thing to sell?
A Scab Cake so gross,
Sickly it does smell.

Beware of this food
Disguised with sponge cakes;
The scab will be 
Your next big mistake.

Please avoid at all costs,
The taste is so foul!
It'll make your eyes water,
In disgust you will howl.

Take care! Take care!
Take utmost of care!
Do not eat the Scab Cake
And most definitely don't share!

Confessions Of An Incurable Packrat

I am an incurable packrat.
Almost every item I obtain,
From Altachucks to Zithers,
Gets tucked into my Safety Deposit Box.
This works for me,
Because on those days when
I've finished my dailies,
Played my favorite games,
Checked my stocks,
Tinkered with my gallery,
Chatted on the Neoboards,
And have fallen into a state of ennui,
I can delve into my SDB
And find the most amusing and delightful items,
Things that have been languishing for years
And are waiting to be rediscovered.
Books are the best;
Both titles and descriptions
Can bring a smile to my face
Or an outright chuckle...
Effective Confetti Clean Up...
“First, you need a dustpan.
Second, you need several volunteers
To help you clean up
While you sit around pretending
To look busy with the dustpan.”
And then there’s Half-Eaten Book...
“Looks like some devoured this
Book a little too literally.”
And How to Deal with Strange Looks...
“Not causing them to begin with
Would be a start...”
I could go on and on;
So, do I plan to give that SDB an overhaul?
Not a chance!
It’s a treasure trove of entertainment
And it will remain so.

No Jelly Here

There is no world of jelly,
No wobbly streets of goo.
There are no buildings built
Of wobbly, yellow-orange jelly.

There are no shops selling jelly delights,
Nor are those jelly donuts real.
There is no giant jelly
Granting no free servings every day.

There are no jelly blobs of doom,
Nor is there a jelly volcano
Near which does not bounce a jelly Blumaroo.

There never was a giant green jelly;
Its sad remains do not exist.
No pictures will you ever find
Of this nonexistent world,
For Jelly World does not exist!

Oh what, oh what could it be? 
The Mystery Pic is what I see.
So few pixels as a guide,
It makes me want to run and hide!
I've searched and searched all through the site,
I've tried and tried and used all my might!

I still have no clue what's in front of me...
Is it a paint brush, a Neopet, or maybe a tree?
The small part of this picture here
Makes me wish I was a great seer.
Maybe then I could have the power,
To know it is not a tree but a flower.
Hidden so deeply only a few find,
The answer each week... oh, what a grind!
