To make friends and be well-known:
Talk in a pleasant tone.

After you've made your friends,
It's time to ask for lends.
Pick out some Neo-smileys
And arrange them rather slyly.

On the Avatar Chat, make your topic.
Hopefully, someone will be philanthropic.
Maybe you'll be lent a Faerie Queen Doll --

Ode To Gross Food

Brain Kebabs and Chewing Dung,
Peaburger Delight;
When I serve these at dinnertime
My 'pets put up a fight.

Scab Cake, Snot Snake,
Sausage Mayo Gum,
The taste of these fine dishes
Leave my 'pets all feeling glum.

Gross Food, Gross Food,
Why do you exist?
No one in Neopia'd want
A Ham and Hair Sandwich!

But I have a small admission:
A few I'd like to try...
Like Bacon and Eggs Ice Cream
Or Bean Yogurt Surprise.

Split Paint Brush, The Best Of Both Worlds

Purple or orange,
It is too hard to choose,
I want either or,
It will be better than this drab blue hue.

To be purple
My life would be bliss!
Purple would stand out in a crowd
And no one could miss
Spotting me.

Then there is orange!
How fun would I be?
Bouncing and running,
My fur flying in the wind.
To be orange would be carefree.

Then it hit me!
I could have both,
A Split Paint Brush.
You have my vote
For being the best paint brush there is.

I go to the Rainbow Pool,
My excitement bubbling,
As I try to keep my cool
I use the brush
And see the new me.

Purple and orange,
One on either side,
The best of both worlds,
My smile
I cannot hide.

The Neocola Machine

I've heard of the Neocola Machine
way up in the sky.
I wonder who put it there,
how did they do it, and why?

Up there it sits
on the moon called Kreludor.
I'd like to give it a shot,
so I go out to explore.

I've picked up some tokens
just lying around.
I even won a few
in the Neocola battleground.

I've heard of the prizes
that one could win.
Strange Petpets, Neopoints,
and transmogrification potions.

I step onto the moon,
the gravity makes me feel funny.
It's a bit colder 
and makes my nose go runny.

I approach the sketchy machine
and take out my tokens.
I choose my only red one
and put it right in.

Which Neocola should I pick?
There are so many to choose.
How many times should I press the button?
How about... 42?

The machine makes a strange noise, 
Like a klunk and a klat.
HERE COMES MY PRIZE!
What? A t-shirt? Well, how about that....

So those searching beware!

Will give you quite a scare:
Not fruity treats or funky eats 
Will you, looking, come to find
But horror tales and lies galore: 
I think you’ll lose your mind.

Those claiming so do lie!
They’ll steal from you 
And betray you if you dare bat an eye.
You’ll search Neopia everywhere, 
If only to discover
There is no dreamy dessert-land 
For you to uncover.

There’s no such place as Jelly World, 
Don’t chase after this dream!
For, if you do, it is quite true, 
You’ll get caught in a scheme
That will lead to your demise 
And your Neopets’, too.
So, do not look for Jelly World 
If you know what’s good for you.

For it lacks any sense!
A world made of gelatinous mass? 
The idea makes me tense.
For, who would dare live in a world 
Made completely out of food?
What if someone ate it all? 
That would not be good!
