Anything for Gourmet Points,
Even Asparagus Pie
It tastes like green muck. Although!
I will eat the pie.
Ghost Marshmallows, yum.
So light and fluffy - they wink!
Who could resist 'em?
And all yummy foods. Are good
Eatin', yes, yum-yum!
Starfish Pizza, and
Strawberry Fondant Surprise
I can eat this stuff.
Coffees and Cookies
Hot dogs and vegetables. Ahh.
I can't get enough!
Fish Flavour Ice Cream
I'll stomach them, yes.
For the gold trophy
I'll eat most anything. But,
I'd rather eat stew. Although!
I will eat the pie.
The Gourmet Club has started,
And competition is high
Everyone wants a bite
Of yummy Asparagus Pie.
So many pets are bloated,
With food they do not need.
All the owners want to win
And so, they overfeed.
All the people buy is food,
New toys sit on the shelf.
So the lonely Neopet
Plays only with itself.
It seemed a good idea at first,
To give them fancy food.
No more Omelettes every day!
Crystal Burgers sure are good!
But rising prices take their toll
On our hard-earned wealth,
And all this gluttony can't be good
For a Neopet's health.
So instead of a Cube-Shaped Fruit,
Bring home a brand-new toy!
More food will only bloat your pet,
A Plushie will bring it joy!
An Island's Mysteries
I take a midnight cruise on sand
Within the coast of Krawk Island
In its earth, I find so soon
A shiny, valued, gold Dubloon.
Its shiny spark, reflects the sea
In which ghost ships sail so free
I cast a glance, beyond the sky
Clouds of pirates, looming by
Expressions lost, with faces stone
Light and careless, like ocean's foam
The treasures they hide, will never be found
They're buried deep, in hidden mounds.
Not in the coves or Fungus Caves,
Or in it's sand, like broken maize.
For the treasure itself, is more than you think
It's not the Dubloons or gold coins that clink
It's the pure achievement
That comes when finding
The treasure once hidden,
in close binding
And by seeing the gold within your success
You'll put your potential to a test
So we leave the isle, only knowing
That what we uncovered, is ever-going
Because coins spend and gold shatters
But in end, only success matters.
Lupes and Chias
The Chia is walking, all on his own,
When, suddenly, he hears a low moan.
Oh what could it be? And where is it from?
It's a hungry Lupe with an empty tum-tum!
Chia starts running, away from the sound,
When, right behind him,
There comes a *pound pound.*
It is the Lupe, and he's sighted his prey!
Chia just cannot get too far away.
He tries to run, but to no avail,
When from behind him, he hears a loud wail.
It is the Lupe, with a hurt foot,
Now... should he help him? Or should he stay put?
Against better judgement, he goes over to see,
Just what in Neopia the matter could be.
But alas! Nothing's wrong, it was just a trick,
Even now when he remembers,
It stil makes him sick!
They start over again, hunter and prey,
This just has not been little Chia's day!
But just when he thinks he would rather be dead,
His assailant falls down and hurts his head.
The Lupe gives up, and Chia breathes free,
But this is not the end, believe you me.
Even with all their willpower, try as they might,
Lupes and Chias are destined to fight.
Eew, gross! What is that thing?
It has a evil red eyes,
And ears as big as a wing!
And why is that Kau walking about,
With this horrible monster,
Who she could certainly do without?
It must be a mutant Petpet,
Who's very scary indeed.
This Puppyblew's face, I'll never forget.
Another encounter with a Puppyblew?
Who is also a slightly irregular Petpet?
No, it's not. It is new.
This Petpet has a zillion eyes,
And very sharp teeth.
To run away would be wise.
Walking down the streets and what do I see?
A purple flying chicken?
With horns that are striped like a bee?
This can't be Neopia, I know it can't be!
What are all these Mutant Petpets doing?
That suspicious Petpet Paint Brush
Must be the key!
Giving advice to all Neopians,
Save your money, and don't buy
Those hideous mutated things!
