Devilicious Spooky Food
by Dannyphantoms_girl

Food, food, as far as the eye can see;
Is that a Glaring Eye Wrap
Staring back at me?

Oh, wondrous food...
So creepy and kooky
And marvelously spooky!

Snorkle Snouts, almost gummy rats,
Angry Marshmallows, Candy Corn Classic,
And cookies shaped like bats!

All this delicious food, all of it for you!
Would you like some Fright Pop, Ghost Puffs,
Or maybe some Gummy Rat Stew?

I hear that you're getting full,
But you really must try a Wing of Korbat,
Then follow up with a Cookie Hat!

Whoot Cookies along with some Devilish Cake?
Why not also have some lovely Deviled Steak?
Eat, eat, eat as much as you can take!

Better Than You
by Brittney_krystal

Now I wouldn't say I'm better,
I'd say I have more skill,
You think you have more power,
But I, I have the will.

You may be able to count potatoes,
Your concentration does astound,
But I will watch that screen all day,
Until the last potato has been found.

Only the first 500 will win,
But to me that ain't a big deal,
As long as I demonstrate my abilities
And show you my boasting is real.

I'm competitive, I know,
Although as a Shoyru I might be shy,
But even if I won't win,
The least I can do is try.

Visitors Beware
by Opinkusamadesu

In a dark and haunted village,
Beyond the woods so deep,
The undead of Neovia
Awaken from their sleep.

These otherworldly specters
Drift weightless through the air,
Phantom creatures own the night,
So visitors beware.

Through ominous mist and fog,
The wraiths and zombies creep,
And shrouded figures stalk the dark
For souls which they can reap.

Distant howls to ghostly moons,
Cry naught but of despair,
Mysterious beings lurk within,
So visitors beware.

Cryptic whispers in the gloom
Speak of suffering and grief,
Twisted shadows trick your eyes
And show things to make you weep.

Tread lightly all ye wanderers
Who dare to venture there,
The woods are ever-watching you,
So visitors beware.

Adventure To Edna
by Sharnee_sparkle

I reluctantly trudge through grimy marsh,
Duck under branches and bushes harsh,
I wander over to a pile which resembles flour,
And spot a single spiky flower.

It's wilting and crying out for a drink,
I pick it, then it starts to shrink.
I hide it in my ragged coat,
Then attempt to cross the filthy moat.

It's broad and seems to be quite deep;
The boat keeper is falling asleep.
I hurriedly grab his rusty keys
And sail across the water;
It smells like old cheese!

I've reached the mouth of a crumbling cave;
Nearby is a depressed Moehog slave.
He tells me that this is the entrance to her lair;
I go through and get a scare,

For I bumped into a bubbling cauldron,
Being attended to
By a ghost wearing pauldron.
Then I spot a green, furry witch,
Who saw me, too, and signalled with a twitch.

Instantly, goblins pounce on me.
I try, but they won't let me flee.
I'm taken to a misty room
And hear a metallic-sounding boom.

It is to announce the arrival of Edna herself,
She goes over to her abundant potion shelf,
She signals for me to come over,
And hands me a four-leaf clover.

I am instructed to eat the loathsome thing;
I obey, but then I begin to sprout wings!
"Oops, wrong spell," she mutters,
Then a machine collapses and sputters.

She tells me my quest, the items she needs,
In order to fix the machine,
I must do her deeds.
I politely reject the expensive list,
Then she sends me out of the window
With a punch of her fist!

Season Of The Witch: An Ode To Sophie From Her Meowclops
by The_lady_j

It was three weeks before Halloween:
what's a costume-less 'pet to do?
Try visiting Sophie the Swamp Witch
and beg her a favor or two.

So, through the Haunted Woods you go,
and up to a rickety old shack.
You knock upon the crooked front door,
but it opens only a crack.

"Oh, you seek a spell for me to weave?
A guise to wear All Hallow's Eve?
Shoo!" says Sophie. "I'm brewing a potion.
Don't bother me with your silly notion."

So, she barred the door and turned her back,
and said with a gleam in her eye,
"What an idea, my precious kitty.
Come right here. You needn't be shy."

"We'll dress you up. Make you look scary.
I'll brew a potion just for you."
She smacked her lips,
grabbed her wand and said,
"So you can go trick or treat, too."

I watched her pick her ingredients;
reading recipes takes some focus.
Choosing things for a magical stew;
lots of care and hocus pocus.

I paced the floor, gave my tail a twitch,
my belly was in deep trouble.
Spooky Doughnuts, Ghost Marshmallows --
her cauldron began to bubble.

In went six grubs and some Twirly Fruit,
she gave the whole thing a good stir.
Seven grape almost gummy rats,
the Scorchipepper singed my fur.

I licked my lips and waited for more:
a Tongue Wrap and Pile of Dung.
I'm not sure I should have eaten it;
could not get the taste off my tongue.

A Glaring Eye Wrap and Brain Ice Cream;
this floor was in need of a mop.
A Hot Worm Hot Dog and a codestone;
I felt strange and hoped she would stop.

Octorna and Blueberry Fish Pop.
This was not a treat, but a trick.
Though I was feeling sort of fishy,
her concoction made me real sick.

She must have seen me faint dead away,
'cause she poured the rest in a jar.
She held me in a great big hug and said,
"You're pretty scary just the way that you are."
