BLUMAROO DAY SPECIAL

Blumaroos Love Games
by Blessed_faerie

Neopia has many famous Blumaroos,
Though you might not know their names.
One thing you do know, however,
Is that Blumaroos love playing games.

The most famous is Aristotle A. Avinroo,
Who is better known as "AAA."
If you're trying to beat his high score,
You'd better plan to play the whole day.

There's the two Blumaroo brothers,
Named Uggaroo and Oogaroo.
You'll find them in Tyrannia,
Playing Go! Go! Go! and Tyranu Evavu.

If you play Fetch! or Bouncy Supreme,
You've seen quite a few 'Roos.
You can catch Horace in Ruins Rampage,
Just be careful not to lose!

Even King Roo is a gamer,
All he does is play and smile.
I dare you to go to his court
And not get stuck playing for a while.

Blumaroos are great at games;
It must be in their DNA.
If a Blumaroo sends you a challenge,
It might be wise to say no and not play.

The Ancient Blumaroo Sentinels
by Sugarypixiestix2

I found them inside an ancient castle,
behind dark curtains covered in tassel.
The place had been abandoned long ago,
in its prime it was a stunning chateau.

The only items that remained intact
gave me a grand yet haunting impact.
They were Ancient Blumaroo Sentinels,
as elegant as two prancing gazelles.

I considered taking them back with me
and putting them beside my willow tree,
but their glowing eyes made me wary,
giving off a presence that was scary.

So, I decided to just leave them alone,
even though I admired such rare stone.
Turning my back I felt a cold wind;
afterward, the air had been thinned.

It was as if the sentinels had awoken,
and together they'd silently spoken.
What was said I could not understand,
but felt a need to hurry off their land.

Beware Count Von Roo
by Dr_tomoe

While the Daily Dare occurs
and we all miss AAA,
while in the Roo Island Games Room
one thing you must beware.

While the island is cheerful,
colorful, and bouncy,
there is one who lurks
who is not quite happy.

Count Von Roo lurks in the dark,
hiding in his coffin of stone,
the vampire Blumaroo awaits
those who might come alone.

For he enjoys a game, too,
with dice that aren't friendly.
The orange and black die could
be considered quite deadly.

So, watch out in the dark
and be sure to hide your neck,
for Count Von Roo can appear
when you least expect.

My Little Hularoo
by Dortho

While on vacation, traveling across Neopia,
Stumbling across a land
With quite a cornucopia!
Among such a variety of sites to see,
Was an island that felt like quite a luxury!

With tropical foods
And nice, warm beaches with sand,
This stop was treasured, and felt very grand.
Why venture on,
When one can stay for a while?
If one can stay for a bit and continue to smile?

There was lovely dancing in the hours of dusk,
Something to watch, it was an absolute MUST!
Accompanied by some local-themed songs,
Calmness sets, everyone forgets any wrongs.

A hula-dancing Blumaroo stole the show,
Keeping everyone in awe,
So very graceful, everyone had to pause.
Watching in amazement
And standing up on their feet,
There was an uproar of an applause
Because it was so sweet.

As the sun did set and the moon began to rise,
Many rushed to the souvenir stand,
Thinking it wise,
To buy their own little Hularoo toy
And were glad to pay,
To always keep the memory with them
Of that fantastic day.

Bouncy Supreme Blumaroo
by Comawhite333

This Blumaroo's challenge
Is running from a hungry beast,
He has to keep going
Or else he'll become its feast.

From rock to rock,
This Blumaroo travels,
But one mistake
And his whole game unravels.

He collects coins along the way,
Yet he still cannot stop,
Always going, always running
Against that pesky clock.

Once the beast catches up
It's the end,
So the Blumaroo has little choice
But to dodge dangers at every bend.

For years upon years,
This Blumaroo has been on the move,
Having nothing in the world to prove,
He just strives to survive
With only three little lives.

So, on Blumaroo Day,
When you're bored and looking
For something to play,

This Blumaroo's ultimate dream
Would be that you play anything
But Bouncy Supreme.

Fetch!
by Meowclopspurrcat

Follow the grizzled hand,
He states where you must go,
Listen to his demand
And surely you will know.

To hop and dart and jump around
Along the darkened path,
Over broken stump and dusty mound
You forge the murky track.

Through the labyrinth you will hop
Seeking your master’s goal,
Quick, before your time is up
And the darkness claims your soul.

Find the item your master seeks,
You poor, weak Blumaroo,
For if you don’t bring back the treats
He might just turn on you.

Blumaroo Dance Moves
by Geneames1

So, you think you've got the groove?
I'll show you how to really move!
Step right up and take my hand,
tap your feet and cue the band.

One, two, three, four, dip and turn,
it isn't very hard to learn,
practice steps and soon you'll see
you're dancing just as well as me.

Grab a partner, do-si-do,
clap your hands and step just so,
I'll show you what you need to do
to dance just like a Blumaroo.

I can cha-cha, waltz, and jive,
dancing makes me feel alive.
Foxtrot, two step, zydeco,
the dance floor is where I let go!

The Labyrinth Blumaroo
by Fleurdust

A tangled maze of brambles high,
a thousand thirsty roots.
I take a last brief glimpse of sky,
then set off and choose my route.

First left, then right, and I'm away!
I know every single twist and turn.
Though, as my Master likes to say,
there's always more to learn.

A roving eye to guide my way,
no light to see the thing I seek.
My nose will take me where it may --
I hope I'm out within the week.

All labyrinths come to an end
I tell myself, if I can just
make it around that final bend --
and there, my goal... the Faerie Dust!

Time's running out, I'm nearly there!
Not soon enough, if truth be told.
Fear prickles through my every hair --
though I am mostly rather bald.

The light! At last! My quest is done!
No more can anyone demand!
I deposit my prize, hard-won,
into his frightful, scaly hand.

I may be a twisted little thing --
a miserable, lonesome wretch.
But I stand proud and unflinching,
when my Master tells me: "Fetch!"

Magical Rainbow Blumaroo Plushie
by Indulgences

I hug my plushie near and close.
It glows with rainbows bright.
It twinkles, shines, and shimmers, too.
It's such a pure delight!

I bought this darling plushie at
The store of my dear friend.
She gave me such a discount, and
Her kindness knows no end!

But something inadvertently
Begins to alter me.
I twist and turn, I'm short of breath --
I'm changing, unforseen!

My hands are paws, my feet are huge.
My ears flop back and forth.
My nose is large and rules my face.
My body's round and short!

I've morphed into a Blumaroo!
I gasp with rightful shock.
I cannot go outside like this --
I'd be a laughingstock!

And then I reconsider this.
I like my cute new form.
My ears are soft and bendable.
My paws are snug and warm!

So, this is me this holiday,
The day of Blumaroos.
I'm loath to change my current shape,
No matter what ensues!

The Fan Of Count Von Roo
by Tryan15

Boris, the wannabe count,
Always wears his favourite vampire shirt,
Which even comes along with trademark fangs,
Looking rather like a cute nerd.

He admires the real count,
The Count Von Roo,
Who manages the ever-so-deadly dice
In the kingdom of Blumaroo.

Where he got his costume from
Nobody really knows,
But though it is full of tatters and holes,
It follows him wherever he goes.

Such an enthusiastic Blumaroo is rarely seen,
And we should really commend him on this.
However, he always goes unnoticed,
Such a shame, at the very least.

I wish I had such a fan,
One that would not mind who I am,
Be loyal to me forever and more,
Feels like I got my very own gang.

Surprising thing is that the count
Has fans, who knew that he was loved?
I never knew, until he came along,
It must have struck a nerve!

Though, I wonder if the count
Even knows about his loyal fan,
If he did, things would not be good,
Another member to his vampire "gang."

Double the fangs, double the deadly,
I would stay way clear of them!
Just wondering: is Boris's fang even sharp?
Like the real one,
Which I'm guessing is worth a gem!

Boris and Von Roo,
The sound of that creeps me out,
I think others would feel the same,
That, I have no doubt!

Happy Blumaroo Day!
