KAU DAY SPECIAL
Beautiful Like A Kau
Every Kau is beautiful,
How is that, you may ask?
Well, they have a secret,
And now it is shared at last
It’s called Kau Milk Face Wash,
Please come and try some,
And if it works like I know it will,
Then go out and buy some
I promise you won’t regret it;
Your skin will feel smooth and clean,
With just a gentle wash of the face,
Your beauty will finally gleam
Drinking milk is not enough,
You need to rub in on your face;
So, I encourage you to try it,
It’s on a platter for you to take
Well, it costs 1,004 Neopoints,
But still, that should not stop you,
In fact, that’s quite a bargain,
So get some Kau Milk Bath Soap, too!
Zombie Kaus Want Grains
The owners of some Kaus are gone,
Retiring for the night.
A herd of these slow movers come --
'Tis not a pretty sight.
Unfocused eyes and fest'ring hooves
Dot lonely, moonlit plains.
Their torpid moans cause some to guess
That they're hungry for grains.
With feeble moos like spoiled milk,
These Kaus, through fields they blaze
Slowly as Slorgs. The massive horde
Seeks naught but plants to graze.
When the sun greets barren land,
The owners gape, aghast.
The zombie Kaus had moved, having
Consumed their grains at last...
The Custard Kau
She loved to eat,
And custard was her favorite treat.
Custard Doughnut --
All were yummy!
Her owner, one day,
Thought it might be nice
To zap all her 'pets
Into biscuit or ice.
She took Kelly Kau
And went off to the ray.
But she did not change,
though they tried every day.
After three months of trying,
She finally switched!
Kelly Kau turned to custard,
Her feelings quite mixed.
While she was, of course,
A huge custard buff,
It was terribly hard
Not to eat her own hoof!
The Milkman Kau
Each day when I wake up I hear him,
whistling a cheery Fyora hymn.
He's delivering my bottled milk,
which is as smooth as silk.
I never get up grumpy anymore,
with delicious milk at my door.
The Milkman Kau is a delight,
wearing his uniform of white.
If you cannot have any dairy,
there's no need to feel wary.
He also has many soy choices,
which get quite a few rejoices.
Chocolate, strawberry, or plain,
he'll deliver it without strain.
It's a luxury you can't pass by,
going superbly with cake or pie.
So, if you are along his route,
don't be shy and give him a hoot.
You will surely not regret this,
as it'll give you breakfast bliss!
Kauvara The Potions Master
Sometimes a Neopian
feels the need for a change,
to expand their horizons,
their limits, and range.
Perhaps a Nimmo would
wish to fly on a whim,
or an Aisha would like
to go for a swim.
For all your needs
for changing your species,
there is a Kau in Neopia Central
who can help with your wishes.
Kauvara of the Magic Shop
has just what you desire,
making morphing potions often,
she doesn't seem to tire.
Species and colors she easily
mixes and matches,
from scary wraith 'pets
to woodland with branches.
So, if you need a change or
have something you really want to be,
Kauvara the Kau is
who you need to see.
Kauvara The Starry Kau
Kauvara the starry Kau
is adorned with a hat of stars
and a magic cooking pot
as her steady companion.
Holding a flask in her paws,
dabbling a bit here and there
and relying on her knowledge,
she adds berries to the pot.
Her vast knowledge results from
her past stint at the tower
of the Light Faerie, where she
learnt her magic brewing skills.
'Round and 'round her strange brew swirls,
as coloured smoke fumes emerge
and foul odours fill the room,
her potion bubbles in the pot.
She heaves a sigh of relief
as she got the proportions right
and the potion is ready,
for all Neopians to marvel at.
Kauvara's Magical Past
It's true they say she meant to be
The best magician, for all to see.
Her father disallowed it, I believe,
A waste of time, a silly dream.
Never wanting to work in a shop,
She said, "I will go to the very top."
The Light Faerie's tower is where she headed,
To pursue the life her father had dreaded.
She knew of the slandered name he'd created,
the previous owner, if I had not yet stated.
Apparently selling less than magical potions;
His scandal had caused quite the commotion.
Among the abundant list of courses offered,
Magical brewing, they say, was most popular.
Little Kauvara couldn't wait to get going,
A natural she was --
Despite her cauldron overflowing!
"Give up your dreams," her father insisted,
And, although she had more than resisted,
She believed it time to leave magician college
And make potions
With her new found knowledge.
Upon her return from skipping town,
More skill, her father decided to pass down,
And, oh! How Uncle Klum
Would have been proud
With the magic skill Kauvara had found.
Her potions now are critically acclaimed,
A celebrity now, no shortage of fame,
Look far and wide for competition,
But magic for her is a disposition!
Kalora The Kau
Most Neopians can't handle the heat,
the amount of lies and deceit,
the tough competitors to beat,
but not Kalora the Kau,
who plays Cheat!.
As it is Kau Day today,
I know what she would say,
only 50 NP you have to pay,
so go to the Games Room
and go play.
Cheat! is a simple game;
the liars you must blame.
Neopians meet it with acclaim,
as will you. If you do win,
there are Neopoints to claim.
So, stop reading this page,
before Kalora gets in a rage.
Go bet a small wage,
enjoy Kau Day with Cheat! --
how far will you get, what stage?
Go find out,
Since that is what it is all about!
In bustling Neopia Central,
There's a shop known to all.
With magic and wondrous items,
You'll leave with a large haul.
It's run by sweet Kauvara,
Whose family ran the shop.
A long-run family tradition,
That Kauvara wanted to stop!
She didn't want to run it --
But, instead, learn magic.
Could you imagine it gone?
The thought is truly tragic!
The owner just before her
Disappeared without a trace.
Kauvara took back the shop
To save it from disgrace.
Now, Kauvara brews potions
Known all across the land.
Though she's no magician,
Her potions are truly grand!
Here's to you, Kauvara,
On this magically Kau Day.
I'll be stopping by your shop,
With the hopes to buy and pay!
The Smelliest Kau
There was a cute little Kau,
As sweet as can be!
He didn't smell all that sweet,
Might even remind you of smelly feet!
Trotting through the meadows,
Happy as can be,
The stench was enough
To make anyone flee!
Some Meepits stopped by to sing him a song,
But it didn't last too long;
They quickly wandered along.
Once alone, and sad near the swamp,
He was surprised with a "tackle glomp."
A swamp gas Kau was drawn to the smell,
And stopped to let him know
Everything would be well!
"It's a new colour, don't you see?
And it comes with a very unique smell.
It cannot be obtained
Even from the Wishing Well."
The smelliest Kau wandered on with pride,
Even if the others decided to hide,
Knowing deep inside,
He was the smelliest,
Something not do be denied!
