Ode To The Mutant Gnorbu

Fallow, leathery, rotting skin --
A sickly beige accented with apricot!
Drool hangs from your happy grin;
I love your lopsided polka-dots.

Hairless except for your bristly tail
And a few wayward strands on your head,
You maintain impeccable fingernails
And your body proves you’re well fed.

A slumping tummy and wonky ears
Help to bring out your best feature:
Your bulbous eyes filled with orange cheer
Show you as an inquisitive creature!

Your eyelid hanging halfway down,
Your nostril perked so eloquently,
All your tones, yellowish and brown,
I describe as "putrid" affectionately.

I understand why maggots and fleas
Flock to you, my mutant treasure --
You’re always relaxed, a soul at ease;
You are a Gnorbu beyond measure.
