HISSI DAY SPECIAL

Hissi Cakes
by Toffeedatepudding

Busy oven, roaring for days,
Baking machine of brick and clay,
Look at what the Breadmaster makes:
Hundreds of special Hissi Cakes!

For Hissi Day, he tires away,
Must bake and bake, no delay;
Four flavors, so hard to choose,
Must bake before today's news

Flaky pastry of butter and lard,
Golden and not one bit charred,
Molded in that Hissi shape,
More filling than any crepe

Topped with custard and cream,
Fruit filled, oh what a dream!
There's Chokato and Tigerfruit, too,
Thornberry for me, Tchea for you

A cherry tops each special treat,
These Hissi Cakes can't be beat!
Buy four flavors and get a free box,
Worth missing out on daily stocks!

It's Hissi Day, so where do we go?
Read this poem and then you'll know,
To the Bakery! Get them freshly baked,
It's the best day for a Hissi Cake!

Silly Or Stupendous? A Faerie Hissi's Four Wings
by Silver_azalea

Now, you may wonder,
Rightly so, what the point of
Having four wings is?

Well, first off, my hands
Can be nimbly working
On something mid-flight;

I do not have to stop
Flying to play a guitar,
As an example.

If either one of
My back wings is injured, or
One of the hand ones,

I am not grounded
For weeks, waiting for it to
Heal; I can still fly.

Last, I can fly twice
As high as a regular
Hissi in good health.

When one pair begins
To tire, I simply switch to
The additionals;

Or I can use both
Simultaneously to
Increase my swiftness!

Whether or not you’re
A fan, I quite like my four
Fit appendages!

Hissi Cobrall Charmer
by Chavo_guerrero

My Hissi is a charmer,
He has a special flute,
That can call out a Cobrall
With just a tiny toot.

He wears all the right clothing,
The charming turban and the wrap,
And with his charming necklace
He looks quite a dashing chap.

He has a little basket
With his green Petpet inside,
And when he plays his charming song,
Out the Cobrall slides.

I think he might be magic,
With the way he hypnotised
That funny stripy Cobrall
With a spiral in its eyes.

But my Hissi is a natural,
And takes care of his Petpet,
It's been like this since long ago,
When very first they met.

My Hissi played his music
As the Cobrall slithered by,
And immediately that Petpet
Became his close ally.

So, they're always close together,
My Hissi with his friend,
Putting on a charming show,
Which I can recommend!

My Hissi Lunchbox
by Sugarypixiestix2

Having lunch beside Meridell Castle
was starting to become quite the hassle.
I love the scenery as I relax and eat,
but I may go find a place more discreet.

King Skarl keeps on stealing my lunch,
he loves my sandwiches and fruit punch.
At a loss I asked for a friend's advice,
pleading even if it came with a price.

She said a Hissi Lunchbox should work,
viewing a Hissi will make Skarl irk.
Having a fear of them since he was young,
no one knows why, but he is high strung.

Deciding to try this and not back down,
Skarl needs a little knock on his crown.
So with my new Hissi Lunchbox in hand,
I sat in the grass of my beloved land.

The castle door began to open slowly,
hearing it, I knew he smelled my ravioli.
But before I could turn to see his face,
he'd run away at a comically fast pace.

Laughing at the king so bluntly alarmed,
I knew my lunch would now stay unharmed.
Thanks to my protector the Hissi Lunchbox,
which even matched my favourite frocks!

Echo The Ghostly Knight
by Dr_tomoe

The Awakened roam during
the nights of Neopia,
full of undead and monsters
out to scare you.

But all undead creatures
used to have a life,
such as Echo, a Hissi
known as the Ghostly Knight.

Before she became a ghost
she lived in Meridell,
a knight for a king,
in a castle he dwelled.

But the poor king was
poisoned by Evil Baklava,
and Echo felt she had
failed in her duty.

At some point she fell,
and now, in the crypt
of a mummy in Qasala,
her spirit sometimes visits.

Awakened she is now,
and called into battle
by Lanie and Lillie
To claim the obelisk.

Her arrival on the field
is a cause for others' dread --
after all, how can you beat
someone who's already dead?

The Hesitant Hissi
by Dortho

There was a Hissi, quite shy, you see,
Just about any sound made him want to flee.
It could be the wind whispering through a tree,
Or even a rustle in a small shrubbery.

Is it a monster, or maybe just a Miamouse?
What if what it is is bigger than a house?
It could be something very much smaller,
At the same time, though,
What if it's much taller?

He slithered and hid in a place so small,
It's wise to stay safe, after all.
There, he decided it was time to nap,
However, he awoke to the sound of gift wrap!

As he peeked out to see if the coast was clear,
There were several there,
Just wishing good cheer!
Gifts and cake, and many friends, too,
Who sought him out
Worried he might feel blue.

Grinning and blushing, he came out to play,
While they all celebrated a Happy Hissi Day!

Have A Happy Hissi Day!
by 0llyness

I once knew a Hissi named Joe,
Who was quite a happy fellow.
His scales would gleam,
As if from a dream,
And he seemed to simply glow.

And then came the day
On which his owner said, "Hey!"
To the Pound the two went,
Through which he was sent,
But, alas, he went astray.

A lurker had caught him,
So his future was grim.
Poor Joe was now trapped,
He tried to adapt,
But his chances were slim.

So, he planned an escape,
Leaving the lurker to gape,
He missed his old owner,
And yet became a loner,
For an idea had started to shape.

Joe returned to the Pound,
And after looking around,
Snuck into the place,
He looked Dr_Death in the face,
And made a frightening sound.

Joe became a hero on that day,
For he created something meant to stay,
The transfer system was born,
And all because of a Hissi with a heart torn.

So, to all Hissi we say,
Happy Hissi Day!

Deserted
by Trubiekatie

As you walk into the tomb,
You think you’re alone.
A rustle in the distance,
You feel yourself groan.

You know he’s in here,
Waiting in the dark.
When he jumps out at you,
The feeling can be quite stark.

I’ve heard he’s hungry,
And he’ll let you know.
When you hear rumbles,
That’s your sign to go!

As an ancient ghost Hissi,
He can surely pack a punch.
His damage is staggering
With each and every crunch.

But sometimes, he’s not there,
And you can find the gold.
You’ll receive some other goods,
Which can successfully be sold.

So, stealth ghost Hissi,
If you ever can read this:
Please don’t attack me;
I’m quite scared of your hiss.
