You are on Page 166
I love them all!
From Meercas to Aishas,
the big and the small.
When you need something, they'll find it,
as soon as they hear you call,
they'll be there in a flash,
before the crash says, "I broke it all!"
The Gardening Blumaroo,
with her pots and plant flats,
the Clothing Uni,
with her gloves and straw hats!
The Health Food Quiggle,
with treats that are good for you.
Want something unhealthy with spice?
That is really nice?
Why don't you try....
So you see my friends,
the list is quite endless.
With all the shopkeepers,
you'll never go friendless.
Smell and see life,
with your nose and your peepers,
but never forget...
The Neopian Shopkeepers!
Tiki Bomb Bag Sonnet
Hath thou a sight of such a weird object?
How oddly shaped this baggy object hexxed
Unbreakable walls yet cannot protect
So weak in shape, yet so highly complexed
Ah! What a strange object that goes around
Filled with great bombs despite its heavy size
Powerful bearings worth more than it sounds
So highly priced, yet owners still advise
How great an aid it must serve in the match
That an endless horde of bombs it creates
Till fately destroyed, nothing more to hatch
But revives again as you leave the gates
Found in Hidden Tower, kept in my thought
Ah! What a strange object that I have bought
Those little tan things,
You see in the shop.
"How boring!" You think,
And wish they would stop.
Giving them out, at Tombola everyday.
You wish that they would go away.
"They waste my time and item space!"
Claim many of the Neopian race.
"They are useless, they are dumb!
I'd rather have a dried up plum!"
They complain and rant, to no one at all,
When they never see the Tombola stall
Keeper sit there,
Day after day,
Making those Sandles,
That you throw away.
So next time, just think
Of the hard work they cost
When you throw those Sandles
Out the door to "get lost"!
I receive an Empty Pillow Case,
From the Advent Calendar.
As I stare at the seemingly useless item,
My mind begins to meander.
What does it do?
Is it a Battledome item?
Is it a Faerie capturer?
Can you eat it?
Is it worth anything?
Can you play with it?
Is it as useless as Pickled Olives?
On the 24th,
I hang it by the fireplace,
An irrational idea running through my head.
The pets copy me,
Bemused and confused looks on their faces.
And I send them to bed.
The next morning,
Lo and behold,
Each one was filled to the brim!
My pets rush to their gifts,
Landing in a heap of 16 tangled arms and legs.
And nearly run me over in their hurry.
As I watch my Kacheek get lost in her pillow case,
So much for those pillows being useless!
As you walk into Kauvara's shop
The sights! The things you see!
The bottles with all different colors
Things for at least 10,000 NP!
Things to turn you red to blue
Potions to make you change your breed.
Things you see to make you spew.
Dust and Spyders inhabit the shelves
EWW! There's one too gross to believe!
Oh, there are so many different spells!
Kauvara walks up to your shoulder
"Can I help you ma'am?" she said to me
"Of course! I need a potion!" I told her.
"What kind of potion? I have many to choose."
I looked upon the shelves,
There are so many indeed!
"I want one for my Kyrii.
His color is making him snooze."
Kauvara helped me pick one from the shelf.
My money bag is now much lighter.
I slightly smile to myself.
"Thank you Kauvara!
My Kyrii will be proud!"
"Come back again anytime!
You're welcome here!"
My Kyrii drank the potion,
And he was gone in a dark cloud!
My Kyrii was then a Lupe!
A Lupe green and tall.
"Thank you, my friend!" he said to me
"My thanks to you will never fall!"
All inside Kauvara's shop
I found just what I need!
My love for that shop will never stop,
But my wallet will probably heed.
