You are on Page 1643
Lazily browsing the Internet,
Not knowing where to go.
Bored, I start to reminisce
About many years ago.
I remember Kacheek Seek
And Ice Cream Machine,
Those games have been updated now,
The originals are a dream.
The website looks fresh,
More so than I recall.
So I signed myself up,
Aiming to see it all.
I've fallen in love again
With Neopets once more.
I haven't been here for years,
But it's more fun than before.
I love playing Key Quest
And dressing up my 'pets.
I'm never bored online anymore;
I just log in and I'm set!
Math's No Nightmare
With a math test tomorrow
Imiya was stressed;
Math wasn’t easy
She was the first to confess.
Dr. Ballard expected them to know so much
Like multiplication, division,
Even subtraction and addition.
After an evening of studying
She headed off to bed;
Equations swirled in her mind,
She was filled with dread.
She tossed and turned,
She couldn’t fall asleep,
So she practiced her math skills
By counting "sheep."
With the wrong answer
The Babaa would wait in queue.
In the morning she awoke,
More confident than before,
She took the test
And soon discovered her score.
It was like a dream...
Maybe math wasn’t quite the nightmare
It had initially seemed.
A Wish Come True
There once was a Stego who liked to run,
He ran every race and every race he won.
He ran like the wind and he loved the sky,
And even more strange, he wanted to fly.
"This Petpet is strange," a Lupe said to me,
"He wants to fly, now that's a sight to see."
One day a Batterfly came to that town,
On her face she wore a sad frown.
The sky was lonely, her friends could not fly,
And every day she would wonder why.
The sky was her home,
The place she used to love,
Seeing the world from a place above.
She bumped into the Stego while in the town,
On both of their faces was a frown.
She wanted a friend and he wanted the sky,
After they talked they said goodbye,
Wanting something that could not be true,
But the Stego saw somthing out of the blue.
It was an orb, it gave him wings,
The Batterfly was so happy
She wanted to sing.
For all of time they flew,
Singing of wishes, wishes come true.
Travelers In The Snow
The snow was swirling in the wind,
The Neopets trembled, coats wearing thin.
A group they were, and only five,
Searching for some way to survive;
Terror Mountain, frigid and cold,
Was beginning to grow extremely old.
But the 'pets had nowhere else to go,
So there they were left,
Struggling through the snow.
That night they found an abandoned shack,
And it was there their leader
Laid down his pack,
With a sigh, that old Ogrin began to give in
To the snow and the sleet and to all that wind.
But, though they had given
Themselves up for lost,
Someone said, “Let’s keep going at any cost.”
So they lifted their paws
And they hoisted their rucksacks,
Though there was ice on their whiskers
And snow on their backs.
Finally, after they’d walked all night,
They suddenly saw a faint, glowing light.
As they climbed up the mountain,
Higher and higher,
They saw that the light was the flame of a fire!
It was a party, an ice-skating one,
With a bonfire, food, and lots of fun!
The pack’s faces light up,
For they knew they were saved,
And they ran to the fire and joined in the play.
Ode To Plumpy
Once upon a time in the Lenny C,
A question arose about the Petpet Plumpy,
Aside from that fame, with his diet a clue,
That poor little Plumpy was known by quite few
The Angelpi called poor Plumpy dreary,
And laughed at his wings 'til he got all teary,
They called him names like Shorty and Fat,
They even compared him to a gummy rat
Plumpy huffed and puffed, and got pretty mad,
Until he always had a frown,
Especially when sad
He didn't need any friends, anyway,
They would just laugh and tease him all day
Then something happened, like out of a dream!
A miracle that raised his self-esteem,
He starred in the Advent on a special day,
A Christmas Eve surprise,
Plumpy's here to stay!
The people of Neopia let out a cheer,
"Plumpy is the best gift of the year!"
They love his frown, his wings, his pudge,
As the boards can attest, we're all fit to judge.
So settle down, Plumpy, come sit in my lap,
We'll rest by the fire and have a nice nap,
No matter what the other Petpets might say,
We love you and are glad you will stay.
