Dailies Of Neopia
by Kuroge
The twelve resounding strikes
that signal the dawn of a new day,
when we may walk with prizes
or return empty in sad dismay.
First on the list is the Tombola,
hope you get a zero, five, or two,
some great items you may win
include codestones or faeries, too.
Travel to the desert to find
the renowned Fruit Machine,
they have some of the most
exotic food you've ever seen.
And who can forget to go
to the hidden Deserted Tomb,
where you just might find the
very elusive treasure room.
With some timed patience
at the old vortex fishing,
you will find the shoes
that someone's missing.
No matter what prize you win,
there is always the next day,
when you may try again,
when you may next play.

Questing In Moltara
by Merunicorn
As I travel to the back of Neopia,
I find myself in the fiery heat
of the grand Moltara city.
Perhaps you've once visited?
The gears and cogs, meshing perfectly
to run the grand city of Moltara.
I can only hope
to chance upon scrap stone and metal,
to find Miscellaneous Gears hidden in the city.
I can only keep searching
for the elusive Rainbow Worm,
appearing only four times daily.
Because, when I collect all 10 worms,
I'll be able to venture into the dark cave,
perhaps finding a big piece of Red Moltite.
But I dream of a day
where I'll take these pieces
to Tangor's Workshop,
and create a Petpet admired everywhere.
And perhaps then, just maybe,
that troublesome guard will say,
"You are well-versed in the ways of Moltara.
Enter here for access to the Magma Pool."

Brief History Of Coltzan's Shrine
by Silver_azalea
Trekking from places
Far and wide, Neopians
Come to pay homage.
The Shrine they seek sits
On a sand dune, towering
Above the landscape.
King Coltzan the Third
Was a wonderful ruler
Of the Lost Desert;
Until the day he
Was killed by foul play by the
Princess Sankara.
A vengeful Aisha,
Who wanted an army to
Take back her homeland.
When she didn’t get
This, she poisoned the King at
An important feast.
Coltzan’s Shrine was then
Opened, commemorating
The King’s achievements.
A last wish of his,
Was for his crown to be put
In this monolith.
Coltzan’s ancient crown
Has magical powers to
Protect the Desert.
Unveiling the Shrine,
However, it was found that
This crown was stolen!
The Meerca Brothers
Are thought to have committed
This shameful crime,
Under orders of
Malkus Vile; a Skeith with
Notoriety.
Thankfully the crown
Was found on the shores of the
Mystery Island,
And now sits snug in
The shrine, along with Coltzan’s
Ghost who appears there.
He often gives out
Items, stats, or Neopoints
To kind visitors.
So why not visit
And pay respects? You might get
Something in return.

kelp, The Ultimate Fine Dining Experience
by Nedviolet
So, you're extremely hungry
And don't know where to go.
Well, let me refer you
To a restaurant I know.
With the best food in Neopia,
There's no time to waste.
You'd better be leaving
Your house in a haste!
kelp is the restaurant
Where I want you to eat.
Give them reservations
To be seated quickly.
Once you are seated,
You will give them your order.
The food is so good,
You might become a kelp hoarder!
Make sure to eat slow
To take in the flavors.
I hope that you listen,
I'm doing you a favor!
Once you are leaving,
Go tip your waiters,
And you might get a surprise
If you take home leftovers!

The Forgotten Shore
by Beanstoast
Target of the raging sun,
The sand clinging to my toes,
I stumble about the island of Krawks;
A tattered map my chancing guide.
Behind the drapes of thirsty trees,
Distant from humming civilisation,
I find a beach grasping pirate wreckage,
The buzz of elation tapping in my ears.
Will I find coins of gold and glitter --
Or perhaps azure rings of ancient times?
Maybe even ornate charms cast from the sea,
Or potions enchanted to beautify?
I set about my eager pursuit,
Shifting sands with a dulling spade.
Alas, my hunt is unrewarded,
And my body beat and faint.
With a hobble most feeble and thwarted,
I leave behind tossed white sands,
And propose I return a luckier day.
