Stealth
by Kuroge

Moving in the shadows
are the new stealth 'pets,
silently, without a trace,
like the pieces of chess.

Hidden in the darkness,
they will not be seen,
as they finish missions
faster than a machine.

Camouflaged within
our everyday society,
without identities
they pass quietly.

As quickly as they come,
they will again be gone,
with their jobs completed,
and no one to catch on.

Altador
by Pancakesatthedisco

Welcome to ancient Altador
Please take a moment to explore

Gaze upon this magnificent land
Oh, the shoreline. Isn’t it grand?

Perhaps you’re hungry and not well fed
Why don’t you try some Altadorian bread?

Or, if you simply want to sit and read,
Altadorian Archives has exactly what you need

If an upcoming battle is something you fear
Head to the armory and pick up some gear

The price on Petpets may seem quite high
But the loyal Hydruplit is a worthy buy

Before you leave there is
Something you must visit
At the Hall of Heroes,
See the statues, they’re exquisite

When evening comes and you’ve spent the day
We really hope you’ve enjoyed your stay!

A Tombola Tale
by Kevin_zhu123

I approached the Tombola,
My whole mind was spinning,
Couldn't wait to find out
If today I'd be winning!

I started to daydream
Of fortunes galore...
If my ticket was a winner
I'd no longer be poor!

I reached into the raffle
Tiki Tack smiled at me,
Slowly pulled out a ticket
And it read... eighty-three.

"Oh dear, you're a loser.
It's a shame you didn't win.
Not even a booby prize,"
Tiki teased with a grin.

"This game is unfair,"
I cried with a roar,
Reached for another ticket
But Tiki said, "No more!"

My dreams were in pieces
My riches were gone,
I thought hopelessly
Of all I could've won.

Finally, I reasoned,
This day was not mine
But tomorrow might be payday...
I'll come back next time.

The Business Of Collecting Trophies
by Hermione_890_neo

Almost to the High-Score Table,
Though I'm not sure that I'm able
To get the necessary score.
I guess I will just practice more,
Until my fingers move without a thought,
And my brain begins to rot.
Until I have the skill to win,
A trophy saying, "CHAMPION!!!"

A week of playing every day,
My high-score increases without delay
And is becoming one of the best,
It's nearly better than enough of the rest.

As I click to start a brand-new game
I imagine the day when
The trophy will be mine to claim.
I quickly earn many points and begin to worry,
And make an attempt to win in a hurry.
As my score edges nearer,
My last life seems ever dearer.
Now that I'm so close to the goal
I simply can't lose control!

But then a wrong move
And the game has ended,
Though my nerves have not yet mended.
I fear my score is only just too low,
And go to see the high-scores, full of woe.
But then -- can it be?
I'm in spot number three!
All that work and that worry
Ended up paying off,
For now I have the trophy
At which is nothing to scoff.

I take the shiny prize and flee,
Overflowing with accomplished glee,
And wonder which trophy is next on the list,
Which trophy I'll practice for now I've won this.

The Snow Faerie's Vacation
by Lilahne_aluoki

Taelia sits on a drift of snow,
Next to a crinkled glacier floe,
She dreams a dream just out of reach...
Sunset on a tropic beach.

"A vacation this summer is what I need,"
She told questers, which would then lead
To, "The cold has settled in my bones,
Icier than this mountain's stones.

A beach made up of pure white sand.
A sunny, tropic, island land."
Taelia made a list of places to roam
The opposite of her frozen home.

The Lost Desert would certainly have sand,
And she'd wind up with a tan,
Or, at worst, a nasty burn,
So from the Lost Desert her thoughts turned.

Krawk Island would have a secluded beach,
She'd have a Keel Haul in easy reach,
But it was a port for crooks and thieves...
They'd rob her blind before she leaves.

On Mystery Island she could eat
At luaus; she'd feast on berries and meat,
Nosh all night and snack all day,
"By the end, who knows how much I'd weigh?"

Lutari Island has its own quaint air
The islanders there don't have a care.
"The breeze is sweet and the breeze is warm,
But the breeze is part of a terrible storm."

Taelia decided on Kiko Lake,
With its glass-bottomed boats
That would daily make
A trip 'cross the water,
At the end where they'd meet
A Kiko with a tray of homemade treats.

Taelia tried on sun hats
She thought were cute,
And packed a swimsuit
Covered in bright-stitched fruit,
She bid goodbye
To her friends at the shop,
And left her house with a happy little hop.

At the base of the mountain
She wiped her brow,
In Happy Valley she gave a great scowl.
"Who knew the rest of the world
Would be so hot?"
She finished her vacation
At the glacier at the top.
