I sneak a peek onto the field
Behind where I so stealthy kneeled,
To eventually make good use
Of this pen and paper I wield.

Breaking in is not a crime,
To see the Darigans in their prime,
Watch them determinedly practice
To hopefully win the cup this time.

Oh, the sun is set and here they come,
I feel my fingers have gone numb,
They’ve almost reached my hiding place
And my heart begins its steady drum.

Oh, to stop the shaking of my knees,
So I can take the moment to seize
And ask the Darigan captain,
“Can I have your autograph, please?”

The Mysterious Allita

Many might ask. She is bright;
Kauvara’s sister.

Only known by her
Being pronounced in an old
Potion page entry.

We can assume she’s
A Kau, since Kauvara’s kin
That have run the shop

Have been that species.
She helps Kauvara to pick
Arbiter berries.

These berries are used
For the starry Kau’s wondrous
Kauvaras Potion.

Growing on the Roo
Island, it’s quite the journey
To go retrieve them.

What else does she do?
None can be certain. She’s not
Famous, so there’s not

Much gossip to be
Heard about Allita’s life.
We know she is not

A criminal, though,
Otherwise she would be more
Known, infamously.

She’s not a hero
Either, or she would be sung
About and renowned.

She’s probably not
Interested in magic,
‘Else she’d run the shop

(Since Kauvara’s dream
Is to be a magician
Like her uncle Klum).

So, this detective
Concludes, Allita’s a quite
Plain Neopian.

A Salute To Maraqua

Beneath the sound of surface worlds,
Away from bells and lack of time,
Beyond the blur of daily rush,
Maraqua sleeps; a quiet shrine.

Here, the light is gentle, pale,
The tempo slows, the bubbles rise,
The lull of waves and dappled sun,
The flick of fins, the curious eyes.

Perhaps you choose to stop and sit,
And watch the Neopets swimming by,
A Techo's tail, a Meerca's puff!
Among the algae, Korbats fly.

But Maraqua hides a trembling past,
A history seeps in ruins dark,
The light grows dim, the jagged cracks
And broken rocks, a lasting mark.

A tale of pirates, courage, loss,
A clash upon this ocean floor,
Once a whirlpool, now is peace,
Maraqua, you are cursed no more.

To this great city I salute,
Your hardships passed, your battles won,
And may you testify to all
That from the rubble, new days come.

After school
I rush back home

After dinner
I explore the lands
From Mystery to Lost Desert,
Krawk and Faerieland

Through the years,
The list of games,
It never disappoints
My pleasure to play

To take care of my 'pet
Like it's my own
3,821 days old
Well fed and grown

To this very day
The website I never left
Just a loyal player
I'm still playing Neopets

Get Off My Lawn

My eyes are not young,
what is the next word?
The lines mingle,
they seem blurred.

From inside the window
I can see the joy outside,
but beside the chair,
I am tediously tied.

Those days have past
when I could wildly run,
not caring about work --
only the cheerful fun.

Oh! My youth! Where
did you escape to?
Where are the times,
to myself I could be true?

Outside, they laugh,
but within I envy;
I can't help but feel like
my mind is in a frenzy.

For now I must sleep;
aging drains my energy,
but I still don't want to 
be part of the elderly.
