Everyday we visit,
With suspense in our hearts,
Hoping for a wearable,
Or a book to improve our smarts.

Deep in Terror Mountain,
Through the hail and the snow,
To see the Advent Calendar,
Is where we want to go!

There's always a new item,
Sometimes two or three,
And when we've collected today's,
We wonder what tomorrow's will be!

A brand new icy weapon,
Or a dress made from mistletoe?
A bear wearing a festive hat,
Or a biscuit made of snow?

Perhaps a holiday statue,
To adorn your Neohome?
Or a kelp and seaweed garland,
Made entirely from sea foam?

Who knows what will be in store,
Throughout the best month of the year,
We may even see the Meepits again,
So tremble a little with fear!

And merry your day,

I bundle up in my heavy coat,
Pulling tight my zipper
Stuff my pockets with coupons 
To get ice cream from Mr. Chipper.

Over my shoulder are my skates 
Freshly polished for the ice rink 
With coins saved up to buy a slushie – 
Pepperminto, or Sniddberry, I think. 

Perhaps I'll visit the Scratchcard Kiosk,
The Wocky who works there is nice
But really, there's only one main reason
To brave all this snow and ice: 

The Advent Calendar is here! 
Only open the month of Celebrating 
Spreading gifts and good cheer for 31 days 
Then, I must go back to waiting... 

I can't wait to see the toys this year! 
And I'd love to curl up with some books 
Maybe there will be games, and caroling songs, 
And tasty treats prepared by cooks. 

So I will confront the blizzards and wind 
No matter how cold it will be --
Happy Valley is where I will camp 
An Advent Calendar devotee!

The days are frosty in the desert,
the days are frigid in the woods.
Neopians are counting the days,
for the calendar comes.

It won't be long now, you see,
because the GMC is waning.
With every passing day,
the month of Storing loses the fight,
for the calendar comes. 

All the Petpets and Petpetpets are stirring,
awaiting their gifts and stories.
Decorations are abounding, 
shops are eagerly stocking,
for the calendar comes. 

Bruces are tightening their scarves, 
Lutaris and mending their sleds.
The party is arriving in the Happiest Valley,
there is even celebration in the scariest woods,
for the calendar comes.

So as you know, like all Neopians do, 
with the coming month of Celebrating,
and the stringing of pirate tree lights, 
the calendar will come.

It's once again that time of year.
The snow is white, the air is clear,
The garlands hung, the trees alight,
The lovely winter candles bright.

The stockings hung, all in a row,
And up above, the mistletoe.
All is silent, nary a peep,
While all the 'pets in dreams they sleep.

And when the wake they run to see,
The festival in its majesty.
To meet the faeries, their smiles kind,
The lovley days ahead remind.

So as you go, with carols sing,
The cheer of advent, with you, bring.
Now I bid you all farewell, so long
As you carry in your hearts 
My winter advent song.
