The Gobbler's Demise
With the approaching holiday
Arrives many a festive mood
However there's a Petpet
Who'll always be subdued
Despite the merry spirits
There's the main course
Where the Gobbler is sat
Stationed to tastily devour
But until that fateful day
He'll spend his spare time
Trying to convince others
Eating Gobblers is a crime
"Vegetables are better!"
He'll desperately declare
However his future is set
He's dinner, however unfair
Then suddenly an idea!
He steps into a costume
Now he's running far away
Never again to be consumed
Petpet Protection League
Sometimes the little Petpets,
Need a hero of their own,
To help them and to feed them,
To make sure they have a home.
We call this group the PPL,
The Petpet Protection League,
They're always ready to give a hand,
And work without fatigue.
There's things within Neopia,
A Petpet cannot escape alone,
Like Florg or the Turmaculus,
Or even a Dr. Sloth clone.
And there the PPL will help,
Will make them safe again,
On their noble and vigilant watch,
No Petpet shall be slain.
So be very, very careful,
If you're not so nice to yours,
I guarantee the PPL,
Will be knocking on your doors.
Or if you have loved yours the most,
For such a long, long time,
The PPL can give you a trophy,
For being an owner sublime!
It may seem quite humdrum,
To those who aren't so bright.
But for those who are smart,
It's something of an art,
Each week to bring the answers to light.
Maybe they like math,
To add or subtract,
Multiply or even divide.
Or perhaps it's the words,
Which may seem absurd,
If puzzles aren't your pride.
The letters are fun,
For the intelligent ones,
Who each week put their mind to work.
So, if one day you're bored,
And in your brain you have stored,
Lots of information and little quirks.
Then make use of it,
Don't give up or quit,
Try again until the puzzle is solved.
Encourage your friends!
Maybe bring even ten.
Try it, one and all.
The Stock Market
Market values fly past me
Like a pack of Pteris
A dizzying array of painted
Red, black, and green
Or piercing, yellowed
Pointed shards that break
The skin of a Skeith’s tail,
To if a stock had risen or fallen,
In sync to the waves
That shake Island shores
Waiting, hesitant, impatient
Then ACFI finally rises, breaching breakeven
Coating itself in glorifying green rain
The value climbs up, the change goes over
But the holdings remain
Deep and dissolving panel of percentages
Follow suit in random generation
Investing my daily thousand shares
For a one day frenzy collection
And repeat thereon
Deposit and withdrawal, buying
Clicking and transacting, selling
Till daylight, the update and awakening,
Checking if COFL rose overnight
It seems like endless patience is overpriced
The betrayal of market decline
The Giant Omelette
Underneath the Tyrannian sun,
Lies an omelette full of flavor and fun.
Sabre-X carefully guards this treasure,
That is so full of joy and pleasure.
Sabre-X offers only one slice,
Which is better than just plain old mice.
If you dare try to take more,
Sabre-X will swiftly give you a nasty gore!
If you manage to get a second piece,
You could consider yourself lucky, at least.
As you smile at the eggy flavor,
Think about all that you can savor.
Admire the beauty of the cooking egg
Because its prettier than a Tigersquash Negg,
Even cooler than an Everlasting Crystal Apple,
And even better than an exclusive raffle!
As the sun slowly sets
And the Tyrannians go to their beds,
The Omelette rests peacefully under the moon,
Waiting for someone to take
A slice anytime soon.
