SLORG DAY SPECIAL

A Rainbow Of Slorgs
by Miss_slowpoke

The plushie Slorg
of white and green
he's as cute as the others
but much more clean.

The royal Slorg
with her hat and flowers
she may be a princess
but she's got no real power.

The zombie Slorg
might give you the creeps
but like all Slorgs
he's really quite sweet.

The faerie Slorg
she has wings, oh my
but they're far too small
for her to fly.

Slorgs are so many colours
from grey to cloud to blue
but whichever you choose
they all will love you!

A Very Rich Slorg?
by Chernobyl44

There's a big Neopian puzzle,
That doesn't get much praise
But I tell you this, my friend,
It leaves me in quite a daze!

Now, I won't admit my financial woes,
But you'll understand when I say,
It sometimes gets pretty hard
To make Neopoints last a day!

Now look at me -- tall and great,
Opposable thumbs to boot!
You'd think that such a fine specimen
Would have more than a pile of soot!

So why is it that a piddly little creature
Truly as small as my big toe,
Is somehow rolling -- uh, wriggling -- in riches,
And giving it out to every average Joe?

And listen to me when I say,
I really don't mean any offence
When I say that "a very rich Slorg"
Doesn't make much sense.

Call me a bitter Neopian if you will,
Call me, ahem... "not very PC,"
But why should a SLORG have money,
And only give 50 NP of it to me?

The Attack Of The Twelve-Foot-Tall Slorg
by Kaddiez

A Slorg undone
By what it defines.
Instead of being small,
It instead towers high.

Leaving a trail
Of goo on its back,
It's big, and it's hungry,
And ready to attack.

Rambles through streets,
Wrecking all it walks by.
Neopians do scream
As they're covered in slime.

Beware of the havoc
Brought upon by its size.
A Slorg at heart,
But a monster to our eyes.

Slorgs In Medicine
by Chavo_guerrero

Has anyone considered,
The bold and noble Slorg,
For all their many benefits,
In medical reports?

Turns out they're quite useful,
Their slime, that is, at least,
Especially when folded,
Into the baker's yeast.

Slorg bread and buns can cure you quick
(Depending what you've got),
They cure bumps and bangs and other things,
Including zombie rot!

Or you could use it as a paste,
To cure yourself of spots,
Perhaps even as a cream,
To stop you seeing dots!

The Slorg is very useful,
And you should keep one at home,
Just collect all of its slime up,
As you let it freely roam.

And if you have a Slorg, I say,
It'll help you when you're sick,
And if it doesn't I'd suggest,
You give it a small kick!

Farmer's Day Off
by Dortho

One little Slorg woke up one day,
What a nice day to go out to play!
The farmer on vacation, plenty room to run
All those crops, soo much fun!

Sliming his way to the corn field first,
With joy he was about to burst!
The corn, so delicous, too good to resist,
In the back of his head, he pictured the farmer, Shaking his fist.

Slithering into the tomato field,
He found a shell he could use as a shield.
With the farmer still nowhere in sight,
He continued on with much delight.

Much abundance in the strawberry patches
With the succulence that nothing matches!
He moved on to a field of hay,
For the night, that's where he would stay.

Awoken to the sound
Of the returning angry farmer,
He knew he should probably venture farther,
Still too tired, he hid under the shell,
And what do you know?

The farmer, not noticing the shell,
Stepped on it first,
Pushing the Slorg into the dirt!

Once the Slorg arose,
Adorned with a new dusty brown,
It's clear a new colour for Slorgs
Had been found.

What Could Possibly Rhyme With Slorg?
by Nomyle

Slorgs belong to a certain group
of which nothing can really quite rhyme.
Every other group of Neopets
seems to have come up with something prime.

A Koi filled with joy, a Grarrl with snarl,
sometimes the Slorgs get a bit sad
that words such as "glorg" (which do not exist)
may rhyme best, and this seems too bad.

But there is something a Lenny penny
could never buy from under rugs --
this quite unique name with nary a match
makes Slorgs a unique group of slugs!

The Invasion Of The Slorgs
by Sweetpotatoesoryams

"Get offa my marrows"
The Yurble did cry.
The Slorg just kept eating,
The marrows did die.

The Slorgs, they invaded
That one summer day
Just munching and munching,
They wanted to stay.

So he bought a ray gun,
Some poisons, and salt;
He took aim at each Slorg
To force them to halt.

But Slorgs just kept coming
They never did stop
Their voracious eating
Did ruin his best crop.

"Stop eatin' my marrows!"
He'd feebly repeat.
The Slorgs just kept eating
He cried in defeat.

Now the Yurble just stood
And cursed every cloud.
Such colorful language
He did scream aloud.

His farm was in tatters
'Twas beyond restore!
Where there once were marrows
There now were no more.

Inevitable
by Comparty

Anyone
can be a Slorg
it would seem.
A Pink Slorg,
to be specific.
Which Petpet are you?

Pink and slimy
girl or boy
there is no change
to the quiz.
You are a Pink Slorg.

Congratulations.

Let there be no doubt
of who you are destined
to be.
A Pink Slorg
is the only choice.

You wonder if it leaves
trails
of pink goo
across the room
it slithers.

Disgusting.

It must be
the most ambiguous
creature
a Pink Slorg is so
versatile.

From loyal warrior
to peace activist.
The Slorg can be
anything
it wants to be.

Can you?

Take up the mantle
of the Slorg.
Be what you want.
Ignore
stereotypes.

If the Slorg is anyone
and you are the Slorg,
you can be whomever
you want to
be.

Generous Slorg

Shop Of Offers

A bit of trouble, we've been having
Slorgs all over the page!
If you see one please go nabbing
At the slimy thing.

Slorgs are fine in a garden
But not on my nice clean page
I must go, I beg your pardon
It left a slimy trail all over my page.

I wipe up a trail of slimy guck
Will the Slorgs never leave?
Seems they never will -- just my luck
Thanks for visiting the Shop Of Offers!

I do detest the Slorgy goo
For who else is responsible
For wiping up green residue
From my nice clean page?

At the very least the Slorg is rich --
Visitors like dropping by
For the money. Ain't that rich?
That's our last offer here.

Next time you want to help me
Stop by the Shop Of Offers
To clean up the kelp-like
Green goo.

Slorg Haiku
by Amberwaves100

What crawls across page?
Green, spotted, and yet so cute.
Homework now undone.

Slorg from Haunted Woods
climbing Eliv Thade Castle.
But slowly, slowly!

Slorg slime can’t be more
sticky and gross than it is.
Who brought us the mop?

Lonely, slow, and wet;
come ascend, Esophagor.
Beware open maw!

No, Slorg. Stop! Do not
go into that kitchen bare.
Salt thine enemy!

Trick or treat! Who are
you supposed to be now, then?
A Petpet supreme.
