My Little Faerie Gobbler
by Sheik_30999

My little faerie Gobbler,
Oh, how I love you so,
Even though you'd look good garnished,
With a baked potato.

My little pretty dinner,
Er, I meant bud,
Don't stare at me as if you'd like,
To shove my face in mud.

My little colourful Petpet,
Oh, come on, don't look so blue,
After all, TNT made,
Faerie look ravishing on you.

My little cringing pet,
My toe you'd like to smash,
But that fork that I held earlier?
I threw it in the trash.

My little frustrated friend,
Please, just go to sleep,
After all, I didn't mean,
To hurt you oh-so-deep.

My little weary cuddlebug,
I see that you are swell,
And now you've stifled the urge,
To throw me in a well.

My little sleeping pal,
I do know that I ought,
Not to be this hungry...
Now where's my cooking pot?

For My Golden Butter Knife
by Raccoon353

Oh, Golden Butter Knife,
Neopia's greatest utensil.
Your magnificence cannot be described,
by this author's mere pencil!

You sliced down all opponents,
and filled them with dread.
Creaming the competition,
while evenly buttering my bread.

You ruled the dome;
yet still held your pride.
You did not feel insulted,
when across my bagel you did glide.

But time gave way to better
and you fell into disuse.
You just could not compete
in dishing out abuse.

So then you fell,
from the Tower's good graces.
And have disappeared entirely,
while leaving no traces.

But nothing made a sandwich,
just like you used to.
So I'm left standing here,
with a plastic version of you.

So while I'm writing this,
munching on toast quite subpar.
I'll shed a tear of regret,
and always save you a full jar.

A Lawyerbot Halloween
by Chavo_guerrero

Shiny metal trousers,
Stylish bow tied top,
Have you seen the Lawyerbot costume,
In the Halloween mall shop?

Perfect polished cuboid head,
His briefcase comes as well,
Full of lawyer's papers,
For his needy clientele.

An outfit made of steel,
So your 'pet can trick or treat,
With authentic robot noises,
As they walk on up the street.

A costume for Usuki fans,
And Lawyerbot lovers, too,
If you want to join his fan club,
You'll just have to join the queue.

So have a Lawyerbot Halloween this year,
All you ghosts and ghouls,
And if you want to make this robot proud,
Remember to follow all the rules!

Come See Your Old Friend Bart
by Origamiorangejuice

Step right up! It's time to bob.
Could be your lucky day.
I have goodies in my apple tank,
so come on down to play.

Just close your eyes and hold your breath
and do your daily dunk.
There are tasty treats and treasures,
as well as rotten junk.

Your time is up, so out you come.
Let's see what's 'twixt your teeth.
Could be a Ghostly Apple
or an Evil Twin Goatee.

But, then again, I thought I saw
some dentures tumble in,
and the last Kacheek who wandered by
thought this was a rubbish bin.

Worry not, it's mostly apples.
Let's see what you've got there.
Is that an Undead Apple?
What? A Caramel Coated... Pear?!?

Castle Nox: A Halloween Fright
by Jazzehness

A gentle fog with chilling air,
The wind around me howling
Even with the fog so calm,
I felt the darkness prowling
I stepped forward with cautious eyes,
The door ahead did creak
As the fog cleared I gave a sigh;
I found the castle I did seek

Castle Nox was silent,
Other than a distant hum
I questioned my courage;
This place would be frightening for some
But Halloween approached me,
And I was looking for a treat
I found a room with nobs and levers;
my surroundings were so neat

Despite my conscience crying,
"Your end might soon be near,"
I stepped upon the platform
And made my objective clear:
Pull the lever, hold on tight,
And wait for something frightening
I grabbed my hat and went for it;
Afterward came some lightning

The machine roared and beeped and shook;
My body felt so tight
I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth,
And held on with all my might
I tingled -- no, I shivered -- from the electricity
Until the thing calmed down,
I didn't want to see

But soon, the machine stopped;
Everything became so quiet
I carefully peeked, I wasn't dead...
But was it a bad idea to try it?
I noticed something different;
My hands sensed something was off
I felt around and realized
I was no longer holding cloth

I found a wig, a purple one,
Atop my shaking head
It was so soft and smooth,
Each strand like a silk thread
The machine I feared so much
Gave me a treat -- no tricks around!
I smiled and left the castle,
Glad to be homeward bound.
