Forgotten Faeries?
By Penskii

Another year has come and passed,
It's time to celebrate, at last.
Cake will be made, a delight for the tongue.
Banners go up, songs will be sung.
However, among the flashing lights
Of fireworks bursting through the night,
There will be a group who goes without
The cheerful dancing and joyful shouts.
The faeries still remain petrified,
Their woes temporarily set aside.
While Neopets enjoy the day,
The faeries still suffer Nox's foul play.
In the eleven years Neopia has thrived,
Through thick and through thin, it has survived.
But without Neopia's faeries' touch,
Neopia wouldn't have survived as much.
So while you party, do not forget,
The frozen faeries and Nox's threat.

Oh, Xandra
By Elebrylla

Oh, Xandra, please hold your temper --
the fate of the faeries may rest on your head.
We need you to stay calm and chipper,
for we have no one to turn to instead,

except for that boy they're calling a hero --
I simply can't see it, can you?
He's rude and he's lazy, a bit of a zero,
doesn't value the truth like you do.

The faeries are stone and it's tragic.
When they'll be back, no one can tell.
But at least we can turn to your magic
and hope they'll return with the cast of a spell.

You are the keeper of knowledge,
who reads and determines like no one else can.
You aren't the sweetest with which to trudge,
but you are the brightest in the land.

You study old magic with all your might,
make wands from junk in the middle of the night,
stand up to bad guys with no ounce of fright,
Perhaps you are the hero we seek.

Lead Us to Safety, Dear Hanso
By Carrotbreath

Made privileging and thievery an art,
But Brynn trusted you from the start,
And to be honest I had lost hope.
But now I see you in a broader scope!

Found with faeries' possessions in hand,
And a past of being in the thieves' band,
The prime suspect you then came to be
And all of Neopia would agree.

Of your trials in Brightvale we know,
And another side of you begins to show,
You are now a Neopian's idol and hero,
Therefore please don't prove to be a zero.

Help Brynn and Xandra save them all,
Be quick and agile and try not to stall,
Or lead them astray,
Because now, Hanso, you lead the way.

Ode to the End of Faerieland
By Kneogirl1012

From faeries large to faeries small,
in rock, in marble, in mortar,
they stand as visages to the eyes
of the beloved, the grieving, the brave.

O, how we wish that empty castle
once more was filled with life!
The library left with no one
to dust its shelves in winter,
even as the rapid bubbling of Jhudora's cauldron
mixes with the sad sound
of the Healing Springs,
Its empty pool churning sluggishly
without a faerie to care for it.

Those who would quest to
seek the favour of Illusen,
or even her splendid gifts,
now are left with nothing to do
but wait in horrid wonder,
not knowing whether to play games
or attempt to save the exalted beings
from their encased sleep.

To plot! To plot,
or to unplot the once marvellous Faerieland,
now turned to a silent graveyard.
Will the sparkling magic of faerie
ever be returned to this cursed land?

Or will it be left to dust,
stone wings and fingers and thumbs
crumbling with the weight of time...?
And the clouds turn to ash
as the sun turns black.

Dear Brynn...
By Chimp_chicken_fish

Dear Brynn,
You drive me nuts!
I try to talk to you,
And you're so serious.
I try to be friendly,
But you won't let me finish.
I thought you could trust me,
Yet all that matters is image!
I know you care for me,
As I do with you...
Just for once please listen
When I have some ideas too.
I guess it was my fault
That you almost lost your job.
But this is how I am!
Please don't become a snob.
Remember back to our first meeting,
Many years ago...
We cared back then as we should now...
Sincerely,
Your Hanso
