A Sad Day By Dragonlover128

Why does a pirate always want more?
It was a sad day when pirates
Came to the Maraquan shore
They said, "Give me yer gold,
Right now, right away"
But the city of Maraqua could not pay
However, Maraqua had had enough
"Eh?" said the pirates, "So you're being tough?"
Then Maraqua ordered them
To leave and go away
But it was sad because nobody knew
What would happen to Maraqua the next day

Two fisherman were out on a boat
When the sky put on a dark, black coat
The rain started falling in an angry hard sheet
The waves built up as high as six feet
As the storm raged it formed a giant whirlpool
Which twisted and turned
Like a great watery spool
Once it hit Maraqua it had great effect
Absolutely nothing of the city was left
Was it because of the pirates? Maybe so...
But Neopia may never know
It was a sad day when pirates came ashore
And it was a sad day when Maraqua was no more

Deckswabber By Leslie_83

Bouncing around on my Blumaroo tail,
Backwards and forwards, but to no avail.
The Techo is coming... what can I do now?
But that's not the question; the question is, how?

How shall I bounce to that side of the deck
Without ever getting my blue tail wet?
While shining the deck 'til it's gold as the sun
Can I get ahold of a coin? No! Not one!

Push past a Mynci; oh ouch I feel ill.
Will that be a flag popping up? Yes, it will!
The flag of my health just fell down to half mast,
But once I touch this flag the illness will pass.

A treasure chest... ooh! The treasure is gold!
I scoop as much of it as I can hold.
But I miss the crate--a fatal mistake
For the deck dirties all 'round where it detonates.

I'm really a Lupe, so this Blumaroo guise
Is awkward and bouncy and all the wrong size.
The tail is great, but the hands are a pain...
A Mynci just hit me, and hit me again!

Another one hits me, I can take no more!
The skull flag, it rises while I hit the floor.
Three-hundred-some points; oh, I can beat that!
"Play Again" and I'm back up in three seconds flat.

I'm bouncing and bouncing until the job's done.
Four ninety-six points... good gracious, I've won!
I collect a Dubloon and a Chia Pop, too.
(This wasn't just Deckswabber;
it was Better Than You.)

Dubloons By pokedoughey

One day, at a faraway lagoon,
inhabited by pirates and ships,
was a new kind of currency called Dubloons.
How are they different from Neopoints?
Nobody knows for sure.
Until the new world emerges,
the mystery endures.
When playing Deckswabber,
these coins you will obtain,
they are surely worth a lot,
and all those mysteries they contain!
If this game is hard,
then try buying it at a store,
once the true value is revealed,
you'll be coming back for more.
Dubloons are surely worthwhile,
but what can they do?
I'll just go grab some,
I think you should too!

The Marauders of Maraqua By Badlyburnedchris

Maraqua was a sparkling gem
Deep under the sea,
Home to Utility Fish and strange
Aquatic delicacies.

With Kois and Kikos all about
(Flotsams and Peophins were few!),
Maraqua was a special place
And you would like it, too.

But behind the transparishield pods
Was a kingdom held by fear.
The monarchy began to crumble
When the pirates soon appeared.

They asked for gold they didn’t need,
Bullying the King around.
But the King made his noble stand
And finally held his ground.

The pirates left the way they came
Stealthily into the night.
But the evil captain made a vow,
"Not without a fight!"

And here’s the strange misfortune,
A curse that was thrown about.
A whirpool came and suddenly
Wiped Maraqua out.

Debris was scattered everywhere
Across the ocean floor.
And so behold the mighty city
Maraqua was no more!

Still this tragedy is wrapped
In wonder and mystery,
As the shadow of evil pirates
Still lurks in the open sea.

We Be The Pirates By Kapanya

Aye, the days on the ocean
Salt air rustlin' me fur
Treasure here and yonder
Lookin' for gold and the greediness cure
We be Pirates Sailin the oceans blue.
Give us yer gold
Give us yer Dubloon
If ya don't we'll show you!
We destroyed Mar'qua,
And if yer not careful we'll get yer lagoon
For we be pirates, sailin' under the moon
We steal the gold all shiny an' bright
And beat up any in our sight
We be the pirates
Be careful, for we be comin' soon!
