The Month of Gathering
By Autotune

In Neopia, the poets fair
Gathered here and gathered there --
Quills none the worse for wear --
Dare you enter their humble lair?

In Brightvale, the wizened Draiks
Gathered near the bright blue lakes.
Surveyed the hills of emerald --
A new month, they prepared to herald.

In Mystery Island, the Techo braves
Gathered in the mountain caves --
Chanting to the pulse of drums
In anticipation of that to come.

In Altador, the hungry foodies
Gathered 'round in twos and threes
At the Annual Chocolate Ball --
To sample candies that enthrall.

In Happy Valley, the Poogles fleet
Gathered in the city streets.
In ice and snow, they chase and run,
Could anything be much more fun?

In Faerieland, the faeries there
Gathered among clouds and air.
For Faerie Festival preparations --
With cake, balloons, and celebrations!

In Meridell, the Gormball fans
Gathered in the grassy lands,
Awaiting the Annual Championship --
A sight sure to be worth the trip.

In Tyrannia, the singing Skeiths
Gathered near the Lair of Beasts
And flew around the Giant Omelette --
Thrice, without breaking a sweat.

In Neopia, the gleeful folk
Dance and sing in joyous cheer.
Their message rings perfectly clear --
"The month of Gathering is here!"

Transparent Skeith
By Pansyparkinson14

Today I came across a frightening sight:
A Neopet creepy as can be,
For while already a monstrous Skeith,
Also his innards I could see!

Through his skin I could easily
Make out his massive ribs,
What, do you not believe me?
Do you think I'm telling fibs?

Then I'll go on, my friend,
In describing this unusual Neopet:
I could see where every joint connected;
I could make out where every bone was set.

The eye sockets leered at me too,
The heart pumped visibly behind a cage of bones,
The skull was massive and intimidating;
The jaws uttered strange-sounding moans.

But wait -- so you say you do know this beast?
What is this monster with such prominent teeth?
A new paint brush colour, you say?
Oh, so this is the new transparent Skeith!

Hannah, Don't Forget Us
By Carrotbreath

To Hannah's fame none can compare,
Well, not exactly, more like none dare.
This Usul is Neopia's most wanted star.
Shown in four games, she's gone far!
Began with adventuring in a Pirate Cave;
Soon was known as "Hannah the Brave."

Being a simple Golden Dubloon server,
Exploring was in her heart with great fervour,
And soon the small meagre life she led
Ended as soon as her great fame spread.
This rags-to-riches story barely ends here.
Fame and more fame for her would appear.

Hannah and the Pirate Caves,
Hannah and the Ice Caves,
Hannah and the Wardrobe of Adventure,
And the more recent
Hannah and the Kreludor Caves --
All these games Neopia raves and craves!

There's a cupcake and even a book!
Hannah surely our hearts took,
But hope she remembers us after it all,
Even though compared to her we are so small.

The Old Skeith
By Pump

Old and wrinkled, lumbering on,
The Skeith waddles and sings his song.
He sings it big and sings it loud,
To let Neopia know he's proud:

"I'm a Skeith, I'll eat your cheese,
I'll eat your table, I'll eat some bees,
But one thing with I'll never cope,
Is a bath, with scented soap!"

And on he walked (the pungent beast),
To interrupt a faerie feast,
Upon the table he did prance,
And began his Skeith-y dance:

"I'm a Skeith, I'll ruin your night,
I've got the biggest appetite!
And when I'm done I'll give a belch,
And move on to somewhere else!"

And he moved on (to the faerie's displeasure)
To eat Neopia at his leisure,
Tired, wrinkled, and chugging on,
The old Skeith stopped to sing his song:

"I'll eat your Petpets and eat your home,
I'll eat it all, just me alone.
But I'll have to do it some other day,
Because right now -- I'm full! Oh, yay."

Isca's Heart
By Ladygaladriel213

In the water ever-present,
Ever-flowing all apart.
In the depths of the soul
Is laid a finger on the heart.
In the thoughts of one who knew,
Singing like the song of the ocean.
The song of the ocean -- O, my heart doth play!
To perform the singing melody,
Forever ringing true and free,
Redemption is but bittersweet,
When the ocean rocks my soul to sleep.
Forget me not, this I pray thee seek,
Remember me when you are weak.
And strong forever you shall be,
When the ocean takes my heart from me.
Never before the depths did churn,
Did pull so hard to seek their earn.
Did try so hard to thwart me thus,
And so I submit into its trust.
Forever heart will haunt these shores,
Forever means always and more.
I shall not weep these salty tears,
I swim with Isca through all the years.
