The Elusive Black Worm
By Girlsoll

Two weeks it's been since we had found
the worms of Moltara underground.
This brand-new place that glows and burns
has in it the most peculiar worms.
From red to rainbow, we've found them all,
but the black worm hasn't come to call.
We've done it once, filled my light,
but missing him, it's just not right.
For days we've searched and cannot find;
our sight is failing -- we might be blind!
Why is he black? It just makes it hard!
We can't find him; he should be starred.
Maybe he sees us and is being cruel,
or we could just be the worm's fool.
We must look silly refreshing all day,
an agitated look of ensuing dismay
consuming our faces when he doesn't appear.
We'll still keep doing it, all through next year!
Come on, Mr. Black Worm, where are you hiding?
We've got the others, you're just not abiding!
We need you, Black Worm, to find the Red Moltite --
without you, our lantern is not alight!
From an Ogrin and Xweetok sorely depressed,
please stop hiding, we're becoming obsessed.
In the search for you, the Elusive Black Worm,
we were told it would be not long-term.
Now the year's over and what can we do?
Just continue the search until we've found you.

The Worms
By Jayo289

The blue is so fresh and cool,
I've got my lantern; I'm no fool.
The red is so burning and hot,
Giving off heat so easy to spot.

The green is so minty and calm,
Resting quietly in my palm.
The yellow is so happy and bright;
He didn't even put up a fight.

The orange is so sleepy and small,
Curled up in a tiny ball.
The purple is so mysterious and odd,
Mumbling quickly so I give it a prod.

The white one is so angelic and light,
Wrapping around my finger so tight.
The pink one is so loving and cute,
Squeaking angelically like a flute.

The rainbow one is so colourful and sweet,
Finding her is such a treat.
The black one is so evil and dark,
I near him, and he lets out a bark.

I've found them all; now they're mine,
To the dark cave, one last straight line.
But just as I near it then,
The clasp is opened; they're gone again!

Been Hunting Worms So Long...
By Anjie

Been hunting worms since yesterday,
So far I've found just four.
Crowds rush past to Magma Pool,
Prevent me searching more.
It started with a single worm,
First saw him when I looked.
A vibrant blue and rather sweet,
I knew then I was hooked.

A kindly fellow gave a gift,
A lantern, rather old.
But large enough to make my day,
With worms that it could hold.
Some nifty footwork saved the day,
(Preventing ugly sound!)
For by an inch I just did miss,
A red worm on the ground.

I picked the little creature up,
He gazed at me, then blinked.
How did I almost tread on him?
His glow was so distinct!
I turned around, lo and behold!
My goodness, a surprise!
The yellow worm I gathered up,
Seemed worried by my cries.

Another day, another search,
A white worm on the way.
How many more I've got to go?
Alas, I dare not say.
Sure, they're cute and rather small,
There's much fun to be had.
But I've been hunting worms so long,
I think I'm going mad.

Worms, Watch Out!
By Flosset

You little guys think you're cute?
Well, we have patience and nets to boot!
We won't stop trying to put you in
A shining lantern for you and your kin.

We'll hide you in our SDBs
Or maybe our Inventory and galleries.
Some we find so fast and true;
Admittedly, rainbow and black are tough to do.

Throw them away,
Feed them to pets,
They reappear and we catch them again!
When it's dark, the Rainbow hides;
If it's bright, though, the dark worm thrives.

Remember all the tips I've said,
If you want to catch some too.
These worms are very elusive and smart,
So quit reading this poem already, go start!

Moltara, Moltara!
By N0dnarbs5

8, 9...10!
Here I come with lantern bright
Into the cavern in the night.
Right or left, left or right,
With my worms that burn so bright.
Oh, there she is, moltite light;
In my hands I hold so tight.
Through the valleys and the hills,
the red and yellow magma spills,
Not a drop of water to quench this thirst.
Search I may, high and low,
As I gaze at this fiery pool,
I was stopped by an armoured fool,
Sending me away from where I came
as the hypnotic magma flamed,
Flamed it did as it beckoned me back.

Thieving in the dark one night,
Catching him off guard,
I bathed in fiery pool as it and I became one,
Quenching yet this hidden desire --
Molten magma I have become.
Suddenly, I felt a heavy hand on my shoulder,
Only to turn around and see my mother
"It is bedtime now, can't you see?
Turn it off or you'll be grounded!"
It was only then I realised
That three days passed,
No rainbow worm in sight,
That's enough to make me cry!
