Boiled Striped Xweetok Negg
By Mamasimios

O boiled! O striped! O Xweetok Negg!
Your praises do I sing!
So hairy! So banded! So ovate!
Amongst Neggs, you are the king!

Not for me a Meerca Negg
With fuzzy, furry tail.
You can keep your Purple Cybunny Negg;
Those splotches are so stale.

Remove from sight these lesser Neggs --
Coltzan, Witchy, Garin.
Ferocious and Mutant are the dregs;
Bring some Neggs I'd like to share in!

Bring Neggs with lavender and blush
In whimsical striation.
Add rosy fur on top and in a ruff,
Now there's some decoration.

O boiled! O striped! O Xweetok Negg!
The only Negg I covet.
So hairy! So banded! So ovate!
Is it any wonder why I love it?

The Fiercest Tug 'O' War Ever
By Baileymermaid95

A mild summer day in the Lost Desert.
A dust storm gathering in the distance.
A lone Poogle stood at attention,
prepared the face the terror at hand.
Silently, saying a last prayer,
the young Poogle turned to face Truggdon.
The young Poogle tugged day and night,
with all his young Poogle might.
A crowd gathered to watch the two tug.
The fiercest Tug 'O' War battle ever.
When one would gain ground,
the other pulled harder.
Till neither could pull any longer.
They looked long and hard into each other's eyes,
never saying a word.
All knew that this wouldn't end in a tie,
someone had to win.
Then finally and with an extra burst of strength,
Truggdon pulled the young Poogle into the river.
The young Poogle was swept away,
never to be seen or heard from again,
his name forgotten.
And Truggdon ruled supreme from that day on,
as Tug 'O' War champion.

Journey to Kiko Lake
By Scenette

Glass bottomed boat sailing Kiko Lake galore,
Pleasantly viewing our wondrous, beautiful shore
You can stay safely seated, or kneel on the floor,
See the Lake's sights and admire them for evermore.

Bring a camera, take a picture --
You never what situations you may encounter...

Clock strikes 10 and it's time to ride,
Kikos dwell around the water, and hide
Hinting to view gardens, our one and only pride.
"So much to see, so little time to view," you sighed.

Magnificent sculptures, curious coral,
Everything back home seems dull and awful.

The sound of gentle breeze is heard,
"Beware of the water," the wind seemed to whisper.
Before you know it, your boat has capsized forward.
Reminders of your day are floating, scattered.

A case of bad luck -- I'm sure it's true,
But this misfortune escalated and grew.

What a predicament you have got yourself into,
But by now, a change of scene was so surely due.
Neopets now gather, angered and shrew,
As danger has approached, I shall bid you adieu.

Captain Techo!
By Anjie

Aye, the restless wind doth rage,
The onyx sails blow.
Billowing, these sentinels,
Of pirate ship below.

Captain Techo mans the wheel,
His rakish hat askew.
Beady gaze cast out to sea,
Fixed on the endless blue.

Wooden leg clomps on the deck,
He hobbles to the mast.
"Man the crow's nest!" is his cry,
As storm clouds gather fast.

Tail slinks behind his form,
As he shouts each command.
Proud and tall the captain is,
And firmly doth he stand!

Ye be warned of pirate ship,
With Techo at the helm!
The creaking ship his regal home,
The angry sea his realm.

Rocking on the rolling waves,
To crow's nest doth he creep.
Tail balances his form,
And up the mast he'll leap!

"Scoundrel crew, steer to the north!"
Shall pirate Techo roar.
There's endless treasure to collect,
And islands to explore!

To the East of Altador
By Danceswithpampers

To the east of Altador,
Through the thick, dark mist;
There lies a village on the sand,
Its features I shall list.

Canopies and rope-swing bridges;
Many can be seen.
The houses are high in the trees.
The island's squeaky clean.

On it lives the strangest sort,
Lutari is their name.
Adorned with bright pink battle-paint,
They dread glory and fame.

Warriors, they are at their best.
No one shall stand a chance.
Defend their shores despite the cost;
They fight, they chant, then dance.

To the east of Altador,
Hidden by the sea;
There is a village on the sand:
That is where you'll find me.
