Draik Inferno
By Anjie

Like cannon fire in the night,
The sky ablaze with crimson light.
The embers glimmer, burning bright,
With fury do the flames ignite.

A signal through the midnight haze,
A Draik inferno, bright, ablaze.

Atop the peak of turret high,
Draik's silhouette against the sky.
Inhale deeply, frenzied sigh,
As upward do the tendrils fly.

A signal through the midnight haze,
A Draik inferno, bright, ablaze.

Draik inferno, spell is cast,
Warning those who journey past.
Mighty roar, the flames climb fast,
The night unveiled, such contrast.

A signal through the midnight haze,
A Draik inferno, bright, ablaze.

Talons clench, the gaze grows dark,
One glance, the realm is still and stark.
Head thrown back in flawless arc,
One breath expels the burning spark.

A signal through the midnight haze,
A Draik inferno, bright, ablaze.

Korbats of the Night
By _Razcalz_

Beating wings and streaking forms,
Korbats of the night.
Fluttering 'round the treetops high,
Nimble, facile flight.
Plunging down to forest floor,
Rising just in time.
Korbats twirling in their dance,
T'ward the moon they climb.

Silhouetted in the light,
Shadows in the sky.
Hundred pairs of flapping wings,
Together Korbats fly.
Reveling in darkest night,
Darting in delight.
Up and down, up and down,
Korbats soar tonight.

Sun is rising, morning dew,
Cloak of night retreats.
Korbats make their way back home,
Quiet, swift, discreet.
Fleeing from the rays of light,
Rest is what they yearn.
They hang in slumber from the trees,
Awaiting night's return.

Stella the Starry Slorg
By Brilliance109p

Through daffodils and marigolds,
Pink Morning Glory Vines,
The Snap Draiks and the Wocky Gloves,
The Purple Columbine,

Slither, slop, and shyly come,
Where lilies blossom true,
From in a clump of Lovepetals,
A Slorg comes into view.

Her name is surely Stella Slorg,
A starry golden hue,
Her little trail of sparkly slime
Is coloured brightest blue.

Her kind have earned a nasty name
For eating crops we grow
And leaving icky trails of goo
Wherever they may go.

We celebrate on this great day
A different Petpet kind,
A Slorg that's good and rare and cute,
With tranquil peace of mind.

Through daffodils and marigolds,
Where lilies blossom true,
Her name is surely Stella Slorg,
She slithers into view.

Torn Between Lands, a Faerie
By Renegade_kitty

On red-dusted rocks beneath an orange glaze sky,
A lone Scorchio sulks, releasing a sigh.
Tyrannian-born, she is among her own,
So why does she feel so confused and forlorn?

Follow her glance, beyond the tallest volcano,
To a castle encased by a lavender halo.
Her wings flutter gently with excitement and hope,
Seeing the land of faeries sends her heart afloat.

A red Scorchio passes, asking her why she's pink,
She timidly whispers, "I'm faerie, I think."
He asks why she's not in Faerieland with her own,
She replies confused, "I thought this was my home."

On red-dusted rocks beneath an orange glaze sky,
A lone Scorchio sulks, releasing a sigh.
She lives in Tyrannia, of which she is fond,
But will she ever be where she truly belongs?

Scritch, Scratch
By Iloenchen

Scritch, scratch
In Sakhmet somewhere,
That's where you buy them,
There at the fair.

Scritch, scratch
Five hundred the cost
With chances to win
Or to make a loss.

Scritch, scratch
Go on and buy one.
Now get out a coin;
This really is fun.

Scritch, scratch
Over the card.
Just choose six places;
It isn't that hard.

Scritch, scratch
A book that you see.
Is that a paint brush?
You shout out in glee.

Scritch, scratch
The scratching is done.
You look at the card --
What have you won?

Scritch, scratch
No three of a kind,
No paint brush for you,
Well, never mind.
