Blue Jetsam Drawers
By _Razcalz_

Standing tall are Jetsam Drawers,
Against the Neohome's wall.
Boxes three are used to store
Both items large and small.
Leftovers or books, perhaps,
Or clothes that don't yet fit.
I brought one home this afternoon,
My Jetsam wanted it.

In the midst of jumbled mess,
Drawers blue stand out.
Makeshift flippers at its sides,
Above two foot-like spouts.
Pointed Jetsam fin at arc,
Perched on drawers' top.
Jetsam for our storage needs,
Which neither swims nor flops.

Deposit box is getting full,
Two thousand objects whole.
I put some items in the drawer,
Like a Goldy in its bowl.
I should have kept it in the safe,
I wasn't thinking then.
Petpet disappeared quite soon,
From Jetsam Drawers' den.

You may recall, now, at this point,
What Jetsams like to eat:
Little creatures of the sea
Make most delightful treat.
They vanish most mysteriously,
When storing box is drawn...
Be careful what you store in it,
You may find items gone!

Raven the Pirate Draik
By Anjie

Shanty sung of distant lands,
Where roaring trade winds blow.
Islands good folk fear to tread,
And seas where ships won't go.
Woe betide the foolish soul,
Who warning doth not heed.
Cross the path of pirate lass,
You'll pay the price, indeed.

Ominous the fables flow,
Back to the distant shore.
The few who venture from the docks,
Tell of the sights they saw.
Rumours of a pirate Draik,
Exquisite as the night.
Within the rage of tempest's wrath,
She is the guiding light.

Aye, some say she's but a myth,
A siren, or a dream.
Feather tipped in onyx hat,
In rapid breeze doth stream.
Exotic tones caught on the wind,
Ships follow without choice.
Songs sung by the pirate Draik,
Who has the sweetest voice.

A Bori Tale
By Scenette

In Neopia, a new species dwells;
Cries are drowned out by ringing bells.
With Kauvara's potion and magic spells,
The Bori, with eyes of pain,
Plenty of love his heart does contain.
He stumbles upon unfamiliar terrain
With hope in his chest, and fright in his mind.
Acceptance here is what he'd like to find.
His large ears are tugged by the wind,
And rain, like tears, begins to drop.
Falling on the ground, they just won't stop.
Bori runs for a nearby hill-top.
House in sight, he carries on battling
Against the rain; he's really aching.
This terrible storm he's braving
In search of love.

Terror in the Land of Ice
By Hopeforgotten

High up on Terror Mountain,
Where ice and cold replace flowing fountains,
Is the Snowager's dreaded lair,
The worm that has the stone-cold stare.

The worm is made up of blue and white,
Coil upon coil wrapped 'round tight,
The Snowager is bigger and just as cold
As described in the legends of old.

The Snowager slumbers in his cave all day,
While giving off an air of death and decay,
A thin film of sleep covers his eye,
Even asleep, he's slimy, slithery, and sly.

As the worm breathes, his coils rise,
What he dreams of nobody can surmise,
A thin smile lurks on his lips,
A smile so evil your skin crawls and trips.

Every day the villagers try to appease
The Snowager with gifts and pleas,
So far he has been gracious
But his mercy isn't tenacious.

There is no telling when or where
The Snowager will attack without a care,
So all you Neopians beware,
Lest you fall into the snow worm's snare.

Crisis Courier
By Stariell

There was panic in the palace,
Commotion in the court.
The librarian was panicked,
And the janitor distraught.

Altador, land of golden sun,
Loomed under a cloud of threat,
Alarms cried out and armies roused,
But no help was coming, yet.

The advisors were all having fits,
"We don't know how to help, do you?"
But the noble King, both proud and calm,
Cried, "Quick, send out the Yooyu!"

How could it work, the citizens asked,
This Petpet meant for games and sport,
To this they trusted all their lives?
It couldn't work, they thought.

But the Yooyu sent was quick and true,
It flew off with greatest speed,
Beyond the kingdom, through the clouds,
To ask for help in direst need.

Hours passed, the threat grew worse,
The King doubted what he had planned,
But then down from the sky appeared,
Relief troops, come from Faerieland!

Lives were saved, the threat dispatched,
The faeries went back on their way,
And this rhyme was penned in memory of
the Yooyu that saved the day.
