Meridell's Turdle Races
By Rosabellk

The Turdles five are ready now,
The race will soon begin.
Each one is sure he won't allow
The other four to win.

Stinky's certain of his speed,
His skill is still unmatched.
It's likely that he will succeed
And victory he'll have snatched.

Poopy's scheming up a plan
To get the gold today.
He's fairly certain that he can
Keep the rest at bay.

Smelly yawns and stretches out
His flippers and his neck.
He knows his odour's deadly clout
Will keep his foes in check.

Squelchy thinks he has a shot
To win, despite his slime.
That is, assuming he will not
Stick to the floor this time.

Nutty's laughing crazily
As he surveys the track.
He knows, albeit hazily,
That he just cannot slack.

The whistle sounds to start the race,
The Turdles start to crawl.
But who will win the race today?
It's anybody's call!

Haiku of the Ruki Healer
By Anjie

Ancient land afar,
Entangled peaks within mist,
Serene, the wind blows.

Mystical the store,
Within, the Ruki awaits
Those who seek magic.

Remarkable cures,
Wisdom only Anshu keeps,
Guarded in his soul.

What wonders do wait,
Beyond the doors that yield now,
Potions, plants, and herbs.

Ruki, old as time.
Now he rests, land bound once more.
The ship docks nearby.

Enigmatic eyes,
Dream of the Cyodrake's Gaze.
Life at sea now done.

He peddles magic.
Healing those who seek his word.
Shenkuu bows to him.

They journey from afar,
Knowing Ruki can restore
Anyone to health.

With whim or motion,
A simple tea he may brew,
Hazy steam of bliss.

Ivory his hair,
Longer does it grow each year,
A record of time.

Slowly scuttling now,
He seeks some leaves up high,
To add to potions.

Flight of an Eyrie
By Keikotoriyamacatnip

A single feather floats,
Gliding across the lake.
Glistening in sunlight,
Ripples it begins to make.

A cry echoes in the sky,
The wind fiercely howls.
Clouds cast overhead,
The mood becoming foul.

Mighty wings flutter
As creature passes by.
Only his lurking shadow
Is reflected from the sky.

As a tropical rainfall,
Feathers cascade below.
Yet most are blown away,
Only one continues to flow.

Suddenly the creature is gone,
The water shines with light.
To leave such plumage behind,
An Eyrie within mid-flight.

The Story of Armin
By Precious_katuch14

Trudging through the snow
A little yellow Bori
Through the raging blizzard,
This is his story.

Helpful and kind
He's Armin the Small.
Some would never believe it,
But he saved us all.

Cursed Hannah in trouble,
The Bringer awakened,
Kanrik alone,
Terror Mountain shaken.

Armin and his slingshot,
Concentrate, take aim.
The decisive stone
Ending everyone's game.

Strike the Bringer,
Frozen in ice,
Shattered, never to return,
But that won't suffice.

The Bori freed,
Hannah saved, Kanrik redeemed.
Their young hero
Was more than what he seemed.

Trudging through the snow,
A little yellow Bori.
Through the raging blizzard
This is his story.

A World of Grey
By Hopeforgotten

Grey clouds filled the sky,
Thunder shook the mountains high,
The Grey Faerie sat in the cage alone,
Weeping softly her fate to bemoan,
Without power, beauty, hope, or wings,
Her captor had taken all in a cruel sting.

Time crawled slowly past,
No water, no food -- she had to fast,
The scorching sun beat down on her,
Not a solitary creature stirred,
She tried to escape to dreamland by sleep
But the magic lock in reality did her keep.

One noon the Grey Faerie's saviour came,
A little Kyrii, Tavi was her name,
She was a simple traveller
With only a backpack on her,
A traveller with a heart of gold,
Tavi resolved to save the faerie from her load.

Tavi engaged the lock in a game,
After one question she would guess the lock's name,
If she failed to do so
She would also be imprisoned to her woe,
The rules were simple and tame,
Tavi could not ask for the lock's name.

The lock's laugh was loud and malicious,
It was stunned when Tavi was victorious,
"What is that grey faerie's name?" she asked,
The lock stared with surprise unmasked,
It had no choice but to tell,
"Baelia is her name," it angrily yelled.

The door swung open with a click;
Freeing Baelia had been no easy trick,
But Tavi had calculated right --
The lock was named after the prisoner it held tight,
Tavi had broken the evil spell,
Happiness did Baelia well.

The Grey Faerie's despairing world of grey
With Tavi's aid had just turned into a beautiful day.
