Oh, King Hagan
By Yoyote

Today your kingdom gleams
with a hundred green-gold beams
before mine.
And I'm led to think of all
our journeys, big and small
over time.

I remember our cannon games
and our cheeky tossing of names
and curses.
Then there're all the times I tried
to steal your cookies prized
as purses.

"Without an education," you utter,
"one is more likely to become a jester
than a king."
Now I don't appreciate that idea.
for a well-told joke's what I revere...
'sides eating!

Life's for enjoying, in my book,
except I never read a book,
unlike you.
I'd rather devour good food --
it's the greatest pleasure, if crude,
and that's true.

But in spite of all your folly,
you're my brother, and mighty jolly,
to be sure.
So here's a cheer for you:
May your kingdom stay tall and true
forever!

With fondest well wishes,
King Skarl

Shadow of a Zafara Witch
By _Razcalz_

Deep in the Haunted Woods
Lives Edna, Zafara witch.
A potion formula misunderstood
Caused an explosion which
Hurled out of the tower Edna and her goods.

Separated, Edna and her shadow
Must gather those ingredients back.
Fourteen levels of woe --
Retrieve a tentacle, an eyeball, a sack,
They run against the timer, to and fro.

Now their enemies are here,
Come to thwart their plans.
Bats, tombstones, brain trees -- oh dear!
Only flames from Edna's hands
Can make them disappear.

Edna's shadow forward dashes,
A tombstone comes her way.
Into the monster she crashes,
She's trapped, to her dismay,
The shadow's tail in frustration lashes.

Edna is here! The tombstone she defeats,
She frees the shadow, her double.
At graveyard's centre they do meet,
The cauldron begins to bubble,
Their task is complete.

Fyora's Music Box
By Anjie

Hushed does silence echo here,
A music box is shown.
Carved and etched in perfect form,
And stained in violet hue.

Tiny box is opened now,
Its contents on display.
Haunting, sweet is melody,
As soft song starts to play.

Fyora's music fills the air,
A tune so soft, serene.
And twirling in an endless dance,
A tiny figure's seen.

A likeness of the Faerie Queen,
In perfect, tiny form.
For those who open music box,
This dance she doth perform.

A secret concert, just for you,
The Faerie Queen's own gift.
Such beauty held within this box,
One's spirits soon uplift.

Fyora's beauty does abound,
Within this small delight.
All her wisdom held within,
A tune so soft and bright.

The tiny box so gently closed,
With softest click, it locks.
The secret stored away for now,
Within that music box.

Capara Cheats? NEVER!
By Kalilian

You may know me from the card table
Sitting across the way.
I know what you are thinking,
but your thinking's gone astray.

Let me be clear, and reject
Those subtle, futile claims.
I say, quite carefully and honestly,
That I have never cheated.

Of course, you say "But Capara,
you play the game called 'Cheat.'
How could you not be a cheater,
With all the folks you've beat?"

I play honestly, with integrity,
Even though Cheat's based on smarts.
Six fours here, five kings here,
My playing truly is an art.

"But Capara," you say "there are only
four king cards in total!"
"And only four fours, so are you sure
that you don't cheat at all?"

I apply my makeup, do my hair,
And pretend that I never heard you at all.
I bat my eyes at the other players,
So "CHEAT!" they'll never call.

The Blumaroo of Bouncy Supreme
By Indulgences

With certainty my Blumaroo
Hops gaily up and down.
He jumps onscreen from left to right
A jelly pet renowned!

He knows the tricks to bouncing high
With effortless aplomb.
He's master of his jelly realm.
He is a paragon!

He never falters, never stops.
He swipes those coins in style.
Though I want take a break,
He'd rather go for miles!

I click the mouse, and off he goes!
He hops from stone to stone.
It's fun to play this game because
You never play alone.

The radar sweeps for enemies
Of Pterodactyl kind.
Don't play this game if you are tired
And looking to unwind!

For you must stay awake, alert,
Attuned to all that moves.
So grab those coins and watch the clock!
Stay in your gaming groove!
