JHUDORA DAY SPECIAL

Jhudora's Exploding Muffins
By _Razcalz_

Afternoon in Faerieland,
Outside Jhudora's Cloud.
Home of faerie infamous,
With mist the place is shroud.
Should have known something is up,
From sight of blackened ground...
Jhudora smiles and gifts me with
A pair of muffins round.

First reaction is surprise,
I stammer, my eyes blink.
"Darling pet, you need a treat,"
Jhudora says with wink.
I dare not voice my obvious doubts,
Forcing a trembling smile.
It's just not wise to spurn a gift
From this dark faerie guile.

I squeak thanks and stumble back,
Muffins now in my hand.
Chocolate chips spread at tops,
From there, short wicks do stand.
Most ominous are lit fuses,
Complete with orange sparks...
(Yes, even more so than
Those green and purple marks.)

"Why do you wait?" Jhudora asks,
Her grin one of delight.
"Eat up! Eat up!"
And without choice, I take a bite.
I fail to hear the sizzling fuse,
The shrinking wick now gone...
And then there is a great big "BANG!"
Really, need I go on?

One Dark Day Is Drawing Near...
By Anjie

Jousting, pushing seem the winds,
Howls fill the chilling air.
Up above the cobalt skies,
Dark things and thoughts dwell there.
Ostracised to nimbus high,
Rage turns her heart to stone.
Aloft on wisps of acid green,
She sits and seethes alone.

Faerieland may carry on,
Eternal seems its glow.
She watches beauty grow and thrive,
There life and joy may flow.
Isolated far above,
Vile hatred fills her core.
A darkness grips Jhudora's heart,
Light leaves her gaze once more.

But once a year the wheel doth turn,
Evil spins to the peak.
Ghastly faerie takes her throne,
It's vengeance she doth seek.
Nearer rushes fateful day,
She plots and plans with glee.

So on that day, what will occur?
Oh fools! Just wait and see!

Shall faerie's wrath reign from above?
Or horrors none can tell?
Once day has ended, sighs set in.
Nightfall means all is well.

For Jhudora, a Sonnet Attempt
By Larkspurlane

There's nothing so frightening as Jhudora's spite
When she is out to avenge some perceived slight:
She mutters curses, threats of torture and tombs,
And her glinting eyes drive each word home.
When wrath thus lights her dark orbs aflame,
No Neopets seeking quests at her cloud are game
To interrupt the dark faerie's violent furies:
They would be risking painful personal injuries.
To Illusen are these rages most often directed;
At the thought of her, Jhudora's mood is infected,
By blood-boiling rage and anger is she torn,
With clenched teeth she vows to make Illusen mourn
The day she did not the whispered warnings hark,
And decided to cross a faerie dark.

Jhudora's Thrall
By Stariell

A mist on Faerieland's farthest shore
hangs dark amid the cloud mass.
Purple and green of acid hues,
It reeks of magic and marsh gas.

Walk closer, traveller, if you dare,
Let its power draw you closer in,
Until the darkness parts, and finally,
You see who waits for you within.

Jhudora, the darkest left in Faerieland,
Lives here beside her greatest foes.
Is Fyora crazed or clever in this,
To keep an enemy so very close?

She welcomes you with a bare nod
and ill-concealed contemptuous glower,
But temptation hangs there in her words,
Offering you items of ultimate power.

She'd have you serve under her name,
Like all the others who on quests embarked.
Undertaking all Jhudora's dirty deeds,
To leave the faerie's own hands unmarked.

Take the offer, leave your morals behind,
Ignore those who tell you to abhor her.
For who knows what may happen if you don't.
It's unwise to thus displease Jhudora.

Jhudora's Poisonous Treat
By Reveirie

Jhudora leers
with a grin dark as
night, eyes shimmering
with malice. Lady green and
violet gifts a treasure from her
palace. In one word, it's venomous.
Acid green and poison purple. (Literally.)
A smile, a smirk, a simper, as cold
and cruel as winter. Narrowed
eyes, eternal laughter at
invisible disaster. With
a smile to rival
Chia clowns
and a
vile
aura
that
makes
you
frown.
You
wonder
why she
gave
you
such a
treat,
that's
really
any
thing
but
sweet.

Jhudora Rotten Negg
By Soaringeagle25

A Fish Negg rather smells like fish
And a Happy Negg sits and smiles,
But frothing and spewing verdant ooze,
The Jhudora Negg is nothing but vile.
It seeps a thick noxious gas
And hisses when one gets near.
Hold your nose, it isn't a rose --
I would rather I just stayed clear.

It festers in my Safety Deposit Box,
Because I'm too afraid to touch
Its putrid purple pungent form --
Something I'd rather not clutch.

So I think I'll just leave it be
Letting it sit and having its way,
As long as I don't have to think about it...
And as long as it stays away!

Jhudora's Sentiments
By Lily2b18

So you want to help me out, do you?
I'll tell you what to do.
Go buy me something, I don't care,
If it gets rid of you.
The only good thing 'bout this day
Is Illusen's "customers" go away,
But I really do wish
That away from ME they'd stay.
What's this? Another one? Why, oh why!
The only upside is Illusen's cry.
"What's this recording? Where is my glade?
Why has my bank account run dry?"
Would you leave me alone! Just go, shoo!
I've had enough of ones like you.
Why today, anyway? What's so special?
Oh... it's the fourth. That... I knew...
Sorry, er... here's your gift... an avatar.
Now, tomorrow I trust you'll all stay FAR,
FAR AWAY and not come back. I mean,
Today is just... bizarre.
So happy Jhudora Day to one and all,
I think that Illusen's banging the wall...
Hold on, I'll adjust her cell lock...
Oops! I made the lock too small.

Jhudora Day Celebrations
By Ibcrazy1

'Twas midnight, and the slimy worms
Did flee in horror at the sight.
All queasy were the Neopets
And the faeries had a fright.

Beware Jhudora, young pet,
The spells that bind, the words that slight.
Beware the dark faeries, and shun
The denizens of the night.

She took her dreaded wand in hand
Long time the frightened quester she sought
So rest allowed on the evil cloud
And sat on her throne in thought.

And as she waited on her throne
The Neopet, with eyes of fear,
Came stumbling through the purple cloud
To say into her ear,
"Oh, my! Oh, my! And so truly
Congratulations, my lady!
'Tis Jhudora Day, so don't delay!
Be sure to spread maladies!"

And with that she rose gladly
And proclaimed her joy.
She cursed all good, and left her cloud
To anger and annoy.

'Twas midnight, and the slimy worms
Did flee in horror at the sight.
All queasy were the Neopets
And the faeries had a fright.
