Journey into the Glade
By Hopeforgotten

You entered a little wooded glade,
Where tall oaks and sweet pines touch the sky
And Pteris flitted from tree to tree,
Bursting into the occasional song.

A gentle breeze stirred the leafy boughs,
Tickling your neck as it passed,
The sunlight filtered through the leaves,
Spilling into bright patches on the woodland floor.

You kicked up dust as you trod
On the little gravel road,
Well-worn by the many travellers
Who undertook the journey before you.

A little brook babbled as it ran beside you,
Merrily leading you toward your destination,
A little Koi leapt out of the smooth surface,
Arching its back before disappearing with a ripple.

Ahead of you lay a small clearing,
With a tidy cottage in the middle,
It had a thatched roof and picket fence,
Flowers peeked out of every window.

You rapped lightly on the wooden door
But nobody answered your call.
Surely someone was home,
For smoke rose lazily from the chimney.

Venturing into the garden in the back,
You saw a stunning earth faerie
Seated upon a mossy rock,
Humming a lively spring chant.

The flowers turned their heads toward her,
Soon the entire world blossomed into colour.
Her long hair lay unbound upon her back,
Shimmering as sunlight infused each strand.

You walked steadily toward her;
Hearing your footsteps she turned,
Her green eyes filled with warmth,
"Good day! How may I help you?"

Speechless and at a loss for words,
You bowed low to show your respect,
She was beautiful beyond imagination,
Perfect, flawless in every way.

For she was Illusen, Queen of the Glade.

Peophin Holiday
By Flosset

Swelling of the morning ocean,
Coral dancing far beneath,
Calming waves set in motion,
Scattered seashells on sand like teeth.

Inky figures under sun-drenched sky,
Where eyes can hardly see,
Farther than where Starry Sea Ferns lie,
The Peophins swim gracefully.

Spectators from the shore will cheer,
As Peophins twirl and leap,
Their favourite aquatic day now here,
They dive the water deep.

Festivities of their day go on,
Ocean current tickling at fin below,
A Peophin celebration greeting dawn,
With daylight setting opal glow.

A Faerie Ruki's Wings
By Soaringeagle25

Graceful fluffy swirls
Colour of iridescent pearls
The clouds of Faerieland float

A picturesque city
So supremely pretty
Doth Faerie City reside

On gossamer rose wings
Such delicately thin things
The faerie Ruki travels

Shimmering and fair
They beat the clear air
To carry the passenger on

Glimmering and shining
Free and not confining
The faerie Ruki zooms

There's no other transportation
That gives one such elation
To fly so near to the heavens

For the faerie Ruki knows
When the ardent sun glows
It will be a beautiful day!

Peopatra
By Togepi_forever

In the desert lives a Peophin,
With eyes as dark as night.
Her stall is filled with Petpets,
That are certain to delight.

Her name is Peopatra
And she knows the desert well,
For she has found each Petpet
That she ever has to sell.

She has her own oasis,
Hidden in the desert sands.
She raises all her Petpets
In this lushest of all lands.

In the sun, Anubis play,
In shade a Wadjet rests.
A Scarabug has found a place
To build its little nest.

And Peopatra joins them,
Swimming in the pool.
A group of Gebs soon follows her,
Hoping to keep cool.

In this place they frolic,
Under the bright sun's rays
And with her beloved Petpets,
Peopatra plays.

Realm of Fyora
By Anjie

An endless tower spirals up,
A haven set in cloud.
For none but Faerie Queen herself
In structure is allowed.
Within the glistening halls she walks,
A figure, tall and fair.
Shimmering, her circlet gleams,
Atop that violet hair.

So gliding are her graceful steps,
She moves without a sound.
The silken train of lovely gown,
So trailing on the ground.
Serene, her gaze doth wander here,
Upon all in her home.
Fyora, Queen of Faerieland,
So peaceful does she roam.

A thousand magic spells abound,
To guard the Queen within.
Upward at the tower top,
Does spiral staircase spin.
Such priceless treasures hidden here,
They enchant and enthrall.
But none as much as Faerie Queen,
Most precious one of all.

So delicate, she seems to be,
Though strength doth lie within.
Defender of the Faerie Realm,
When trouble might begin.
The softest sigh, she glances out,
Her gaze soft indigo.
A stunning figure, window framed,
Above soft clouds below.
